There is no touch function at all.
I have also got this program but I also hate the lack of touch function.
For navigation, you can't switch between pics unless you choose the play slide show. Otherwise you have to touch your target pic, then retouch the 2nd icon ( 9 squares) from the left to home/

@genesicgaogaiga ,
Thanks for the reply.
Currently I too use the same thing but its very cumbersome.
I wish some one could implement the use of touch flow in this application.
I did mention about this in the resco forum . The developers there are bringing out a new version but that will take some time.

Well due to popular demand, I've decided to put this on this general forum. It's designed for the HTC touch but have heard widespread talk about it working on other devices. A lot of people really like it so I figured some people who don't go to the touch-specific forum would like to try it out. It does require a touch screen(that's kinda the idea) and although I designed it on WM6, it should work on WM5 if you have .NET CF 2.0 installed. Here are the instructions, just replace HTC Touch with touch-screen WM6 device
I've been working on picture viewer for the HTC Touch that has a little more of an intuitional feel(kinda like the iphone tho mine has some major differences) You can use the touch screen for everything including changing pictures, panning, and zooming in or out.
Here's how to control it:
To use gesture mode check "Gesture Mode" in options menu, to use double-click mode uncheck "Gesture Mode."
Gesture Mode:
Sweep your thumb to the left to move to the next picture
Sweep your thumb to the right to move to the previous picture
(for sweeping, start with your thumb/finger off the phone, otherwise it'll mistake it for the panning gesture)
Press on the picture and then move to pan
Double-press to change to full screen.
Double-Click Mode:
double press to switch between panning and switching pictures/zooming.
move picture with finger in panning mode
zoom by moving finger up/down in non-panning mode
switch pictures by moving finger left/right in non-panning mode

Edit 10/9/07 05:59 PM PST:
This update makes the program WAY better. I made it a lot more stable first of all. Also, and most importantly, I made it so you don't have to press on the menu to activate it and then press again to use it or press the center button to go back to the picture. Simply press on the picture and move it to move it, or press on the menu to use it, kinda the way it should be. Enjoy
cool!!!
this is really impressive! very easy to use... i like it alot! only con i got is that.. its hard to read the folders you want to use (where pictures are stored)

installed it to my htc 8525 with wm6. but it doesnot work. need help.
hey guys
I was wondering if there a way to start without the dial pad been shown unless i press the up arrow to make it pop up (pic bellow explains better)
i look in the view menu and options there no way to change from there.
this just as annoying to me as having the on screen keyboard pop up when i always use the hard keyboard lucky i fix that with Null driver i found here.

this should also fix sometimes my touch pro 2 only renders the top part of that same image shown on the bottom takes a 3- 4 second delay to fix it self.
also a way to remove camera button from the bottom left side taskbar often press it by mistake
I was wondering if there a reg or cab i can install
thanx
My ROM is US English just found that pic while doing the search saved me the trouble of transferring a pic with bluetooth
I saw this cab once but after about 4 hours of searching I can not find it. It is a cab that lets you close the camera directly from the capture screen. If anyone has it can you point me in the right direction?

Is that something that's not present in later WM versions? I'm running 6.1, and I can close the camera right from the capture screen just by hitting the little menu icon (right below the "capture" button on the screen), and when I do that, I get the 3 option icons across the bottom, along with an "X" in the top right for closing the camera app...that doesn't appear for you?

My WM6.5 works the same way.
Here's a tip for anyone who cares...
I personally find hitting the "X" a bit troublesome because you first have to hit the menu icon to bring up the "X".
So, I use the Rhodium Keyboard Controller to map the Back hardware key to "Close active window" whenever the Camera application is active.
All I have to do to exit and close the Camera app is to hit the Back key...

But you have to take pictures with your keyboard extended? Seems inconvenient.

I think he means the back key on the front of the phone, just to the left of the "end" key

As sirphunkee kindly noted above, I meant using the Back button on the face of the device.

I do the same but with a double tap of the end key. Easily my favorite feature of that software. To the OP though, the X shows up on the capture screen about 3-4 seconds after launching the camera (long hold on the PTT button with the RKC, love that software ), which actually closes the software instead of minimizing it like most other programs. At least on NRG roms anyway...
When I am in capture mode I have to push the little icon at the bottom that looks like a usb stick. Then the settings icons, the camera modes and somthing else comes up and then I get the X in the top corner.

Oh my $diety why did I not think of that. THANK YOU
Just wondering if anyone else has done this because it's pretty sweet, in my opinion. Using Keyboard Config you can remap the PTT (or any key) to both open the camera software and take the picture by mapping it to open "/Windows/camera.exe"
Anyone else do this? Did anyone perhaps find a nice simple way to flip the screen of a particular application around so the camera button would be on the top?
I am having that too with Tarkim keyboard controll..Its really handy..but I can't click pics with that. Can you? Let me know if I can be of any help.

Yes, it works just fine with taking pictures on my AT&T Tilt2 with Tarkim's Rhodium controller. Simply have it set to "Run Program" and have the program set to "/Windows/camera.exe"
This will open the camera app when you press it and when you're in the camera app it takes a picture. It's entirely a convenience by HTC that trying to open the app when it's already open causes it to take a picture. This doesn't work for you?
i used to have it set to camera, but seeing as how i rarely use the camera, i have it set to "AltTab"
So when i have more than one app open, hit the ptt button and a box will pop up with all the apps open, then i can either tap on the one i want to switch to, or press the ptt button to go to the next app.
I had remapped the PTT on my old Fuze to the camera function. Big problem you'll find here is that you'll take a lot of pocket pics. On my tilt 2 I mapped it to voice dial.
got mine mapped to taskmanager, send recieve all, bluetooth toggle, and long press camera using rhodium kbcontroller. how do u find "alttab" switch i use it all the time on my pc but i didnt know it was possible on the phone? mind showing me the target?
Is there any mod or app by which we can capture screen in one tap, currently running 47a MM in it after capturing it requires saving.
Thanks
U could add the capture+ button to ure touch buttons
- settings
- display
- home touch buttons
But it only opens capture+
Maybe enough?
Gl
Yes I am already using that but I am saying is that after taping on button the screen shot should save to gallery instead of again going up tapping "Gallery" option
