You should be looking at elf/elfin upgrading forum here. Do not forget to read the guides before trying anything to your phone.
i just got my diamond 2 days ago but i dont know where to start with roms, spls, radios to have the latest software
i have a htc dream rooted and everything but this phone is very different

i have got an o2 XDA zest, and would like to know how i can get windows mobile 6.5 running on it, as 6.1 is not very finger friendly, i think its manufactuered by HTC? looking at all these roms is confusing me a little and i wont want to brick it so i have a few questions
Can it be done on my model?
and how , ?
please could i have some advice on what is the best process and rom to use for a newb, a link to a how to post or something like that would be great, I did try searching but i couldnt find much info.

PLEASE COULD ANYONE HELP ME TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM. I AM NEW TO THIS SITE AND THE WHOLE EPISODE OF ROM FLASHING. I READ THROUGH THE INSTRUCTIONS COUPLE OF TIMES BUT WOULD NOT UNDERSTAND. A FRIEND HAS HELP FLASHED THE ROM ON MY P3300, THE ROM IS NOT FUNCTIONING WELL AT ALL. MANY FEATURES SUCH AS BLUETOOTH AND THE CAMERA ARE NOT WORKING.
I AM THINKING OF STARTING FROM THE SCRATCH ON MY OWN AS MY FRIEND HAS RELOCATED ABROAD.
I AM A LAY MAN I NEED SOMEONE TO HELP ME BY TELLING OR TEACHING ME HOW TO RE-FLASH THIS ROM SO THAT COULD BE ABLE TO ENJOY MY P3300 AS BEFORE

on startup you see red numbers and letters..
what are they?
i you see 1.11.cmon
you can flash any rom on the artems forum..
if you do not have that..
click the link for UPLOADS FOR P3300
download 1.1.cmon (its spelt wrong, i know..lol)
read the dummies guide..
*do not soft reset though!

First of all, why all those caps? It's perfectly readable in normal letters.
Secondly, everyone wants a "flashing for dummies guide" and a personal trainer to get the latest roms on their device. The trick is, finding those guides by using the "search" function, on top of this forum.
You can use the advice given by Raving_nanza to get your device updated.
Good luck in finding the right rom for your device.
