Before flashing, my Diamond died !
Power OFF OFF, no soft reset, no hard reset, no bootloader mode, no charging battery.
HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is your diamond CDMA or GSM?
My guess is you flashed the CDMA SPL on a GSM diamond.

My warranty is valid or not ?
Can HTC assistance suppose that I've installed HardSPL ? The Diamond doesn't power ON !

If you have to insert a sim card: it's GSM, if not: it's CMDA
To come back to your problem: if you can't boot into the bootloader: there is currently no way to restore.
You at least have to have a working bootloader to be able to restore the phone.
The only way restoring a non-booting device would be by using JTAG test points, which to my knowdge aren't released yet for the diamond.
Sorry for the bad news,

If the device doesn't boot into bootloader, it's not possible to read the SPL, so there is no way (apart from jtag) to determine that the device had HARD SPL.
To my knowledge, HTC's RMA III doesn't use JTAG at all (this is only done in the factory).
They replace mainboards when there s a corrupt bootloader (as in your case).
(if this falls under waranty I realy don't know, there are different reports sometimes they do it under waranty, sometimes they don't..)

JTAG is a complicated way of directly connecting the cpu of your device to a pc.
You can search the forum or HTC hermes or HTC universal JTAG to see how it's done.
However, it's difficult, dangerous etc..
You have to know your electronics!
You are better of if you'd send the device in for waranty.

Send it in for warranty, if it's repaired: GOOD if it's not: but at least u tried.
If u flashed anything not-official (official=downloadable from htc e-club) then your phone has voided warranty, but maybe they don't notice.

Only warranty. You haven't flashed any rom or something else. Just say that it stopped working yesterday, when you was playing music and it stopped. Do not tell that you've played with hspl !!!!

what do you mean by sim unlocking ? tell us wich tools wich exe you run and why and when it resulted on a dead phone. a simunlock will not make your device turn off and unable to boot it again. where u got this file from ?????
please be more precize
Try to send it to RMA, warranty issue.
If you've got no warranty .... there might be soon a solution for jtagging / repairing it, but it will need good soldering experience and additional hardware.
Cya,
Viper BJK
P.S.: No matter what "unlock" he tried, new devices have improved security, so current hard spl or oemsbl hack might not work due to newer hardware or better protection
The one i use was a link from this forum, its call Diamond Unlock.

If you've flashed the CDMA unlocker and you've got a GSM device, say goodbye
Try RMA or wait for JTAG solution.

1) if you got the CDMA hardspl... I made that one, and I *EXPLICITLY* mention in my post there that it WILL brick a GSM diamond. I guess people just will never learn to read

2) that is nothing to do with SIM unlock either. if you need that, get it from http://diamond.htc-unlocks.com/
3) interesting note... apparently just running the CDMA SSPL will already brick GSM diamonds, because I saw another case, where it was confirmed the RUU didn't even get to flash, and we know of course that it cannot because of the different modelid. so, just by running that exe it kills the GSM diamonds, maybe I'll integrate some check in the hardspl program to check diamond model before loading SSPL. but until then, people had better read more carefully.
that's an expensive paperweight ^^
well it could be used for more than paperweight... if RMA is not an option, viperbjk needs a bricked diamond for JTAG experiments.
lol ^^
donations accepted... money or phones!
i'll send it back as Dead on arrival... down to the supplier to sort it out
lolll, this is funny no doubt! Maybe this needs to be a sticky! An example of searching, reading and comprehending fully before doing any type of hacking to your phone!
Any news?
Has a solution been found for idiots like me that have managed to brick there Diamond?
hello,
I'm also looking for a solution. i can't turn the phone on, i tried hard reset, or taking the battery off....nothing worked.
It's not your fault cmonex.. Indeed, he just didn't read.

In dying need of samsung B7320 rom

I tried to upgrade windows 6.1 with 6.5 upgrade designed for jet from AT&T on samsung B7320 and it is now corrupt. I am in urgent need of rom that can return the phone to the original state so that I can sell it out to help me buy a better phone from HTC. Any assistance is most welcome. Please notify me by mail.

This is a wrong forum mate !
You have to post this in genral forum as i don't think there is any forum on XDA for your phone.
Try other sites.
Post to general forum !
Try the Samsung support site you will get a stock ROM there.
Can't help you much.
Hope you solve your problem soon..
Have you tried to push Power while holding F key down or vice versa to see if the Hard Reset is still working. If it is, you should be able to restore factory settings of the phone with all of the OEM ROM.
Good luck.
Best,
TA
I checked and the hard reset is still working but when I use it it gives the same result, unable to restore to the original state. Thanks a lot for showing concern, any info is most welcome.
Please can anyone tell me how to get all the OEM ROM for samsung B7320 and how to use it to restore my phone back to normalcy. I am so disturbed since I don't have any phone to use as at now.
No one here knows, because we don't own samsung phones. You should just go to the samsung website and see if they have a rom update for your phone, or go to your carrier site to look for a rom image update. I don't even know what a jet or a B7320 are. Are they even the same phone? If you flashed a rom from another phone onto your B7320, then I have a feeling that your phone is a brick. The fact that a hard reset takes you back to the boot screen (from what I can decipher) does not sound good. Just start googling for rom images, but you're wasting everyone's time asking for help here. There must be a samsung forum out there somewhere. If anything, try the 'Upgrading, Modifying, and Unlocking' forum.
Moved to the "Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking" forum, as someone else mentioned.
I did the same thing! Poor me!
Help plz!
Hi.
Anybody knows how to put B7320 into bootloader mode? Thank you in advance.
I did same thing on my B7320 :-(, I brought my phone to the Samsung service center they can’t flash the phone back to its original rom, so they replaced my board, now it’s working fine.

Yes, google for "Jtag". There should be specialist in your city/country. With Jtag they are able to connect to motherboard directly and reflash (repair) bootloader. Service is about 30-50 $.
If you phone is on warranty, you can repair it for free at Samsungs service center . They will replace motherboard to new. But you dont have to mension about flashing phone before. Just say it was on charger after you try to power up and nothing happend, something like that.
Good luck

Can a t-mobile tp2 flashed with a cdma rom be brought back to a gsm radio rom?

Hi. Can a T-mobile HTC TOUCH PRO2 (US version) which was stupidly flashed with a SPRINT CDMA ROM be brought back to GSM by reflashing it with a GSM flash ROM file using a PC running Windows? If so, where can I obtain the flash ROM file from, as well as the utility to flashing it back with.
PS: HTC Techs wouldn't help me except telling me to send it in so they can charge me more than I already paid for this phone already. Thanks in advance for helping or trying to help.

Well, my "know-it-all" buddy who's had great success with tinkering & flashing my other phones, B-R-I-C-K-E-D this one. Now he and I have been through the gamut on trying to reset this TP2 with the problems listed in another thread here using forum members' suggestions as well as the resetting tips for this model found on HTC.com with no success. So I had a thought in my sleep. Maybe, just maybe, I can reflash it?
Symptoms: There is no screen on this phone now. My PC tries to recognize it for about 1 minute or two, after it displays it's hardware signature in Device Manager 2-3 minutes showing up as "Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM" with an exclamation point under "Other Devices", then, the phone's hardware signature disappears from my hardware list in Windows 7's Device Manager listing. It didn't do that before.
"My Other thread" referring to all I did in trying to revive this phone with the help of other members here.

You should be able to connect the USB, go into bootloader mode, and then run update the ROM. You should probably run task29 first to clear the memory. If you can't get the USB to work, you can flash from your SD card. Check the first several posts of the ROM forum, rather than this GENERAL forum.
find an official T-mobile HTC TOUCH PRO2 rom and flash it.
and if your device has hard-spl then you can flash any full gsm rom.

Nope no good. These tips all expect some sort of interactivity between the use & the phone present like being able to go into bootloader mode or expecting something visual on the screen. My TP2 doesn't do anything after flashing it with the CDMA process (provided by the Rhodium.htc-unlocks.com website), except turn on the little orange LED ever couple of minutes until the battery just dies out.
You now have a nice paper weight or brick. Flashing a cdma radio and/or bootloader/unlocker is NOT reversible. If you had only flashed a cdma rom then that could have been reversed.

If you cant get into bootloader I'm almost certain that means the phone's bricked. I realize that's likely not the information you want to here but you need at least a FEW things working on the thing to be able to flash it to a different rom. Bootloader being one of them.
If you cant get into bootloader mode, then i dont currently know any other way of reviving the device at home.sorry.

RMA usually it's totally free you only have to pay to send in the phone. I know cause I did the same thing kind of... I flashed a GSM rom on a CDMA phone and totally bricked it. My phone connection led didn't light up when connected. Then I call HTC, they sent me to call another company that handles US Cellular and got it RMA paid only shipping.
If your led connection lights up there might be a possibility you can flash your stock rom with a clean Micro SD Card. Just search for this method on the forums, it has been a working life saver to many.

The only thing that might work is to go back over the the CDMA forum and find out how the CDMA version invokes the bootloader. Maybe it is different than the GSM version? If you can't get to bootloader you are in trouble.

Bear in mind that (I believe) the OP said he Hard-SPL'd the device. I've seen numerous tales on here, of HTC declining to repair under warranty in those cases, citing 'Illegal software'. They usually then quote a couple of hundred dollars to change the motherboard, or a fee to return the phone unrepaired (the fee is their charge for the diagnostics).
I have the same error. Any new guess? In my country there aren't HTC repair stores

Thank you.
sorry for my english.
I'm afraid that sounds like a hard brick. The qhsusb_dload thing is exactly what I had on my hard bricks. It means that the primary bootloader has been wiped. Nothing you can do about it except sending it in for service.

i´ve also by mistake mess with the bootloader partition, it went to service and they replace motherboard. if you can´t turn the device on, they won´t notice because they will flash everything new. but i tink they will replace motherboard because the service provided by samsung in several countries is donne by companies that cooperate with samsung, it´s not samsung itself and they are the ones that have that kind of equipment. in my opinion take to warranty
