I just finished downloading the WM2003 Upgrade for Ipaq 3850.
But my device is German and I can't flash an English Version on it.
But I read it is possible to flash with an Hex-Editor...
Does someone know how to do this?

I have a i-mate 2003 version i would liek to upgradeto WM6 can i do it? if i can how shall i go about it? can somebody help me in this regard.

you have to be more spc imate made alot of pda's which came with pocketpc2003

I am not sure which version of i-mate. But I have i-mate sp3i, and I upgraded to WM6. Go here for instructions.

The i-mate PDAL was recently upgraded to WM6 chinese from WM5 english.
I was wondering, can this phone be downgraded back to WM5?...
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

You don't need to downgrade if English upgrade is available in this forum...

Do the same process as when you upgrade to wm6, it´s exactly the same

Never mind about the wiki.I done the flashing.After I started the Italian RUU I copier the English ROM over the Italian and it worked.My H6340 works good now with Eng rom.

It would be also really nice if there was some kind of an manual.
I already have a tool for rewriting the rom, "Wizard service tools"...
Even-though i am a software-engineer i dont know much about ppc's....
