rom upgrade for verzio envii? - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

hello all...
i just want to ask if there is any rom upgrade available for my verzio envii (almost similar to atom life) since the verzio website is kinda worthless in with regards to support...
i also want to ask if i could use any atom life rom upgrade (6.1 probably) on this phone... it is a good phone in with regards to specs but my only bane is the battery life which drains so fast even in standby mode... i already tried buying an extra battery but it seems that tit's not the battery that has the problem... any reply suggestions is greatly appreciated

verzio envii 6.1
i have a verzio envii running a 6.1 rom. the battery still sucks. i am now looking for a 6.5 update. it's really nice. just the freaking battery. i have to charge 2 times in a day.

WM6 and battery life ...

Hi, i wanted to know about Windows Mobile 6 and the battery life.
I mean what's the duration of a charge compared to WM5 ?
mine is 2 days or 3 days when i don't use it.
thanks !
nobody knows ?
nobody uses it ?
strange !?
please post your autonomy with WM5 and the one with WM6.
thanks !!!
About 3 days for me on LVSW 2.0.0.7.
Phone checking for emails every hour over GPRS, about 2 hours of WiFi a day and a bit of music listening.
Battery life
Hi,
I use mUn TE and battery life is similar to wm5... don`t see any significative changes

Battery autonomy ?

Hi all,
I have been experiencing with different ROM'OS and radio versions, I am finally with Faman's 3.2 release and 1.46.00.11 for the radio. I read that the autonomy is around 200hours in GSM mode and about 180 in UMTS.
My question : Does anyone reach those numbers ? I mean, I have just activated direct push (via emoze) and since 8 AM I am already at 50% with only about 15mins of phone calling and 30min of mp3 listening plus something like 10 emails received and it's only 4:30 PM. At this rate, by tomorrow morning the battery will be empty, are you guys in the same situation ? Do we really need to charge the device every day when using direct push ? I beleive I have good cover in my office (4 bars + 3G) even though I moved quite alot in the building today, still, I don't think blackberrys need to be charged that often..
What do you think ?
Have a good day everyone !
Since I have been using (cooked) WM6, I have been unable to reach those numbers. I have an active 3G connection with HSDPA and my battery would have to be charged after 48 hrs. But, I'm using it for business puproses so it is my cradle most of the time. Anyway, using bepe's .76 ROM and 1.46.00.11 RADIO. Tried many other combinations, none utilizes the battery better than the orginal HTC WM5 rom/radio.
Let's just hope that HTC will at some point release a wm6 something for our P3600s then because that's really a killer :/

I would be interested to hear your experiences with MARY 1.2 and the same Radio. (1.46.00.11) I'm getting the best battery life (even better than WM5) with this combo. MARY 2.0 killed my battery - and I had problems with the battery with some of the latest bepe ROMs - bepe is a legend tho - think it's the core being used. Let me know.
Ok, so my battery basically lasted 14hours in active 3G mode. Pretty cool Do we know if it's because of the ROM os or more the radio ?

Flashing now, I will report after the weekend!
OK, already flashed to another ROM. Havinf problems with ActiveSync and my HSDPA. One thing is sure though: this ROM is very good for the battery!

I think he's talking about MARY V1.2 with radio 1.46.00.11. It's the best battery combo I've tried and a lightning quick ROM IMHO. I'm currently cooking myself a ROM from it - and will release if hellonasty is OK with that.

TomTom will drain your battery very fast
You should install batterystatus
Depending on usage, my battery usually lasts more than 48h, but GPS is a drainer for batteries, and together with tomtom...
Anyway, you should install batterystatus and monitor the battery drain to see if there is any leak. I usually have around 70-80mA with no application launched, but with maximum brightness it goes up to 250mA.
To me Mary 3.3.5 SL is the best when it comes to battery, plus I donĀ“t use HTC Home,HTC Launcher and stuff like that.
I guess those two plugins or apps have something to do,the nicer the rom looks the faster the battery drains and TomTom is a drainer like they say,so if you are using biotouch or some similar app it also make the battery consumption go higher.
I down grade from 1.50 to 1.46 resulting in longer battery life.

terrible battery life!

Hi All
My Diam100 has the worst battery life of any HTC I have seen and is far worse than my Diam140 - which makes no sense unless it is the HSDPA part of the radio stack.
Also, My diam100 drinks the whole battery on satnav GPS inside around 3 hours. (I am using CoPilot Live 7.0)
I am running the european release ROM:
RUU_Diamond_hTC_Asia_HK_WWE_1.93.831.1.exe
with the 1.00.25.05 radio stack
any thoughts here? I wonder if it is worth turning off HSDPA?
Yours
Leon
search before you post
your not the 1st or will be last to start a thread like this
try a cooked rom...with the tweaks mine is now lasting 4 days
thanks, buddy
Will-do. I would dearly love to understand why the GPS is so power hungry and why HSDPA empties the battery so quickly.
I'll certainly try a cooked ROM or two now I have it unlocked and HARD SPL'd
Thanks for the advice
Yours
Leon

I have the same ROM and Radio ROM but mine hardly lasts 1 day ... probably too much WiFi searching?
Using 3g od HSDPA really drains the devices battery. I only use G (unless I'm doing some serious surffing - so My batter lasts nearly 3 days - mainly 2 though...
Cooked roms like Dutty's v.1.4 has tweaks to increase battery performance. And if you are not using the HSDPA or 3G services just disable it so you can save battery. Well I am happy with the battey life because it is better thn some Nokia's battery's/
Agree with all above:
Battery does suck.
Disable 3G, BT, WIFI, Beam when not using makes my batt last 2 days without making too many calls. Which imo is not that bad.
Last friday i used all of its features (heavy usage), 3G, GPS, WIFI and etc made alot of calls and the batt died about 10hrs later.
you sound surprised??!!
the diamond is one of the most powerful phones on the market at the moment being put up directly against the iphone 3g which has terrible battery life as well.
weigh it up, you have a 900mah battery over 520mhz processor vga screen oh yeh its less that half the size of an iphone.
i think it does ok

well said.
too right you are - I'll take one of these over an iPhone any day
since we are hot on the topic...
anyone tried the extended battery yet?
1350mah or the 1800mah from china?
i've heard that the .03 radio rom should spare the battery life a bit more than the .05., at least within europe.

Yep core clock will be same, amount of processes running not much different to 6.1 ROM, 6.5 is bound to zap a bit more juice as morw running and meant for more powerful devices, but even then you can get good battery life on a decent battery.
I use simplo 1550 in Dash and it's outstanding on any ROM and even though over a year old holds good charge.
3 days on 6.1 Kavana Ricky Remade with descent use gf uses it "never shutting anything down" yet still lasts.
So guess you just need a "new" battery if not then could be hardware but can rule that out when give her some juice.
Goood news
OK i ll buy this battery.....
