Is there a crack for the widgets on the Samsung Omnia? It would be great to be able to customize these. Thanks in advance!

hey Gary. I add to this. would be great if someone on xda dev would help us modify the existing widgets. I am interested in how to redirect the internet loading widget to launch opera mini instead of standard opera mobile. gentlemen, is there an easy way to do this?

I don't really know that is what you are looking for.
The Today APp is different from the Touch Wiz, unfortunately. The TodayApp (assuming that's the one I'm thinking) is a Today plugin that gives you a few tabs, similar to HTC Home found on the HTC Elf.

Upgrade Your Samsung Omnia
Just updated the Samsung i900 Omnia from the Samung Official Website, come with chinese software, I found it very useful.
If you DL with the CE-star, you will not be able to sign in the MSN.

Yeh, somebody please resize this plugin. It looks nice but nit functional on 240x320 divices.
Dows this work with Dimond or it needs resizing on that to?
Sorry guys, icons are packed into dll files. There is only dll and exe files.
Any updates on this?
I've already tried this on my HTC Prophet and...it works. The only issue is in fact the dimension of the graphics (too big to fit the Qvga display)

Hey guys, anyway to replace the calander that touchflo redirects you to? So for example when you click on the home screen appointment, it takes you to WM calander, I want to to go to thumbcal.

Man - I ALMOST like the Tf3d2 calendar. I still use MTP to run PocketBreeze in a tab, but if the calendar had
1) More info per item without opening it - maybe even a click once to expand to show all info and description, twice to open in MS Calendar...
2) Week view
3) Color Categories, or another way of visualising
4) Include tasks on the day page
...I'd be using it exclusively

Bump.. I too use Thumcal.... I like tf3d calendar for viewing info... but want to open thumbcal to make new appointments etc..
I checked in the hkeylm-software-htc-manilla-item 5 is the calendar
but no clear way to change where it directs you....
^^^^ THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT TO DO!!
The most I can do is when you click the no appointment thing on homescreen it will take you to thumbcal, BUT if you have an appointment it will open it in Windows Mobil calendar!!

Start complaining at HTC about this. TouchFlo doesn't use the registry to ask for the default (calendar) application. TouchFlo is hard programmed to use the Windows software, in this case the calendar.
To get this changed in the way it should work..... HTC has to do the work!
maybe we can use vjbrisk I'll have a look at it later!

like you,i hate this calendar as well,it's very rustic design,i want to remove it from the Today desktop,replace it with other better-looking calendar,but holy ****,after lots of research,the conclusion is that this calendar is built within Touchflo3d scripts (called inbedded),even tweaking registry cannot remove it!
So forget this tempt. give up. i am trying to see other better Today program to replace this goddamned touchflo3d.

as I am looking forward for receiving my HD MINI aka PHOTON on Monday, I can't wait to start customizing it. AFAIK there will be no official support for Windows Phone 7 for our phones in the future, so I started to look for an application launcher / today screen app that provides an WP7dish feeling. After a little research I found this theme for SPB Mobile Shell http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=649362 which looks pretty nice, but obviously has no HVGA support. Now I am thinking about starting an complete own project. But before I start, I would like to ask you, if there is already a working WP7-Theme for the HD MINI that I have not found. If not, do you know a tutorial or something like that that describes how theme creation for SPB-Mobile works?

Okay, I started to design a skin for rltoday exspecially for the HD MINI. Looks pretty cool, but I want to ask you, if someone knows how to dectivate the scrollbar in the today screen and activate kinetic scrolling? That would make things a lot easier for me. I can post some screenshots, if you want.

I'm very happy to see some people spend a lot of time to create cab and tabs for my phone!
I've installed FACEBOOK tab on italian language too! with a good FB Icon!and i'm very happy of it!
However...
I want on my phone a RSS TAB.
I haven't CHT because my phone is too slow with it and i don't like it. Sense is too simple and intuitive XD.
I've seen that the RSS tab for HD MINI was created only for CHT and not for simple SENSE.
So I searched for a simple RSS TAB and i found it!
The problem is that when I install it on my phone, it's too big for it!!!
I mean the graphic is not adapted to HVGA resolution, infact i see a very big ICON of RSS FEED.
So I want to install a simple RSS TAB on my phone, without CHT and in Italian Language.
Can anyone help me to create a RSS FEED TAB with HVGA resolution and in Italian language?
I want to use RSS Feed tab for RSS news and insted of using FACEBOOK TAB too!
(i've seen that with RSS TAB i can set FACEBOOK to comment, like and see post and news, am i wrong???)

I have installed the cab file but it does not work. What have i do?
i post the cab for other htc and not the version for hd mini! someone has to work on to convert it for hvga resolution!
