The PocketMusic Player is a must for anyone who is serious about music quality. There is a customisable 10 band graphic equaliser for a start with presets or adjust the equaliser settings yourself. There a bass boost facility. Supports multi music formats. You can use winamp skins as well.
When used through my XDA 11s and Sony EX71 phones the results are fantastic. Much better than WMP. Good value for $20.

music player for manila 2.5
im a total noob on this winmo 6.5 phone...i have a touch pro 2 for att...but i dont like the music player because it wont display my albums artwork...it shows one art work for all my music...can anyone tell me whats wrong??? thanks...sorry if i posted in the wrong area...but im new here. sorry.
that usually is because of the mp3s. this is a sample situation to cause that bug (that is present on all devices and all players btw., even on the pc):
- play a song with a cover inside the mp3
- play a song with a folder-wide cover that is not in its original folder
- play a song w/o a cover
from that point on, all the songs will display the same cover, because the song without cover could not override the old cover, which behaves odd anyways, because it is not in its original folder.
this was just an example, but to avoid bugs like that, you should integrate the covers in the songs and get rid of all the folder.jpg /png cover.jpg /png and similar files
but asides from that, you can of course, try other media players, like tcpmp, link in my signature (tuts and downloads), or s2p (ac-s2.com)
alternative for wm
i think u can go for Nitrogen which good for playing mp3 and other audio formats just search for Nitrogen for wm6 in google.
S2U2 works very well also.

Is there any good media players out there that can replace wmp or touchflo media player? Mostly looking for a player to play my music files.
Good Music Player..
Hello my friend,

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=455750

The one that i use is core player
Pocke music is also good
thanks for your share.
pocket tunes is quite good if you want sync with iTunes
I think Kinoma Play is by far the best media player for Windows Mobile: http://kinoma.com/play/
It's fast, fluid, powerful and easy to use.
Anyone have problems with the new version of Kinoma? Whenever I try to download/update apps ("Get Apps"), it always hangs (Duttys 3.1 and 3.6), regardless of GPRS, EDGE or HSDPA. Works fine over WiFi tho!?
On stock ROM 1.56 and after hardreset, I had some serious problems with Pocket Music - when it reached the end of a track and should have skipped to the next one, it would freeze instead and screw up the sound for the whole device. So I looked for alternative, tried Kinoma but the trial wouldn't let me play with the bass/treble settings, which I need. So I ended up with MortPlayer, which seems very nice to me so far, it has an equalizer and a bass boost effect, and it's free.
I've got no problems with Kinoma on Dutty's 3.6 using 3G/EDGE.
Hello,
is there an alternative music player that supports HVGA? I found Mortplayer but there ist no skin available for HVGA-Screens, so I would be forced to create an own one...
Thanks in advance
I`am also interesting about some alternate music player.
Now i am using core player, but it is not wery usefull because of the small buttons and folder icons. And standard player has no oportunity to play folders...
Thanks for any advice!

yes they do
I`ve tried s2p, and, as for me, it sucks!!!
It can`t play folder, every start it need to update database, and the interface on HVGA resolution is as small as the coreplayers...
And it leaves files s2p2.tag in every folder (Why I must store this garbage on my phone and PC)
TCPMP, as I understand, is an old version of CorePlayer? Or i am wrong?
P.S. Sorry for my english
What version of s2p You are using.?
Baadshah555: S2P v.1.4
I tried Nitrogen, and it seems to me very good, but there is no normal skins for HVGA. But it has a very fine SkinTools, so now i am workin on my own skin for HD mini, will share in few days...
Here is my HVGA Scin for Nitrogen. Inspired by HTC HD mini Radio

Hi fellow defy users,
DLNA is great but the problem is my media player on defy cannot play most of the media files on my computer. Is there a way to add codecs to the DLNA media player or switch to an alternative player for playing the files? Or any suggestions for an app which can play media files on a network computer?
Thanks
anyone??????????????
I would like to kown that too...
My Nokia 6 does not recognize all my music. Some are formated as mp3 but most are wma. Is anyone else having this problem if how have you found a solution?
Which music player are you using?
WMA support is less widely spread in Android. I use Rocket Player, but WMA support is only in the paid or with ads premium version. But there are other apps out there.
Try VLC.
or foobar2000
Pulsar
So I've installed Google Play Music and it see some music files but not all. Is it possible that when I updated to Oreo 8.1 I lost the codecs?
VLC is really great. Plays all audio & video files; I use it both on pc and on mobile
