One button to change ring mode (vibrate, mute or ring) - P3600 ROM Development

Hi all,
I want to know if it possible to make a little script (mortscript for example) that can be change the ring mode (vibrate, mute or ring) by just pressing a key on the trinity.
For example when pressing the "OK" key (below the volume wheel) you can switch directly in vibrate mode. I want to find the same function as my old sagem MyX, a long pressing on the * enable the mute mode.
Thanks for your help,

There are more options but I use V_Vibrate.

Anyway to toggle Volume ON <-> Vibrate ?

Currently, the way I change my PPC profile is by pressing the side volume button, and then tapping on vibrate. That will cause the phone to be in silent mode. I believe many of us do the same?
The problem is, I find it a hassle to press on the button and then tap. It's just too many steps. Is there any app than when tapped on, toggles the volume ON/Vibrate?
Or anyone with vb.net experience can help me on creating such an app? thanks!

[SOLVED] App to toggle vibrate & flight modes

Does anyone know of an application that can toggle the vibrate/sound on/off and that I can assign to the Long Press Power Key (Long_Power.lnk)?
I would also like to assign the Long Press End Key (Long_End.lnk) to toggle the flight mode mode.
You can use MobileMagic.
Great program.

Click to collapse
I second that! I mapped the Comm Manager to a double press (2X) on the Back hardware button. Very handy. Works great.
[SOLVED]
I actually managed to find a solution that works perfect:
1) I found an App "Vibra (switch) here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=277811 and created a link to it in the \Windows directory that I calles "Long_Power.lnk".
The great thing is that Vibra even works when the HD is locked by S2U2, so that you can turn the vibrate mode On/Off with a single (long) keypress.
2) I set the Endkey-App to automaically switch Flight Moden On/Off, so that this is only 2 keypresses away.

How does the button on the top left work ?

Hi, since I cannot go to a local store and physically touch the 5T, I have a Question:
1. The Button on the right side in the middle is the power button is this correct ?
2. There is another button on the top left, that looks like a switch in the pictures on Goolge.
2.1 How does this Button work, can you put it in two positions ? Or does it automatically slide back with a spring ?
2.2 What is the default functionality of this button on the top left ?
3. The Volume Key is one single key that you can press in two directions ( Up and Down ) correct? ,
3.1 It is not possible to simulate a up + down at the same time to give it a "third" key behavior ?
The button on the top left is an alert slider that can switch between three modes, ring, do not disturb and silent. You can press volume up and down at the same time, not sure if you can bind it to a function. The button on the right is the power button.
1. Correct, that's the power button.
2. The switch is an alert slider and it has three positions. The lower position is ring, do not disturb and silent or vibrate mode.
Putting the switch on ring means you get all the regular phone rings and alerts.
Putting the switch on do not disturb puts the phone in a non ringing, non vibrating mode.
Putting the switch on silent means the phone will not ring or give you audible alerts but will still vibrate when you receive a call, text or other type of alert.
The switch does indeed stay in place where you put it until you switch it to another position. Also, you can control certain settings within do not disturb and vibrate modes. In the photos I attached you can better see what options you have for those settings.
3. The key indeed is one single button, however you can press both up and down at the same time if you want to.

Disable vibrate mode when pressing volume up and power

Hi,
Is it possible to disable the transition to vibrate mode when pressing Volume Up and Power ?
thanks
bump, it's annoying to change this every time you take a screenshot
Bump
I would like to know this too, does anyone know how to disable this, because I keep missing calls when the phone goes silent after pressing per and volume up whilst trying to take screenshots, which can easily happen when trying to press volume down and power.
