I own an Eten X800 smartphone and i'm trying to cook a wm6.1 rom.
I have the right tools but i need a wm6.1 rom to port it to my device. My x800 support vga screen.
I know that HTC Diamond Touch have the same screen resolution but all i can find is cooked roms and the originla HTC wm6.1 hve the 5.2.19192 OS (if i'm not mistaken).
Can anyone give me a link to a complete uncooked wm6.1 with an OS greater than 5.2.2xxxx with vga support?

I'm not an expert, so correct me if it's wrong, but I think that you can use an emulator image. There are for wm6.1 and wm6.1.4

Can I upgrade my Iteq X-Bond to WM 6.0
And if I didn't like it, can I return it to the original WM 5.0???....

I'm sure if you can find a WM6 build for your Iteq X-Bond then you can certainly flash it.
I'm also sure that if you can dump your ROM, and have the necessary tools to restore it should you wish to return to WM5, then you can do this also.
Or if you can find a different WM5 ROM image you could also flash to that.
As you may have noticed though, we deal with HTC devices mainly here, and there's nothing dedicated to your device.
I think it is risky to upgrade your device to wm6. Since iteq has 64MB rom and as far as I know, wm6 needs at least 128MB. (correct me if I wrong), So until now I have not tried these wm6 extended roms on my iteq device.

The problem is that my CPU driver comes form wm5 !!!!
So i would like to the OEMDRivers of the Acer N311 wm6 / wm6.1 rom,( which have the same cpu), in order to update my rom

As speaking of cooking a rom yourself, I'm looking for a way to translate WM6.1 rom to french (as long as the realVGA way is still ok with WM6 but not updated to 6.1). Could you tell me how you cooked your rom and where you found ressources to do it (hoping to cook myself a french WM6.1 rom...) ?

I will totally agree with DjTany, I also believe there must be something that defines the capability WWE. I am quite sure the peoples create roms are the genius one. I would urge to do some work about it.
