Can I upgrade my Iteq X-Bond to WM 6.0
And if I didn't like it, can I return it to the original WM 5.0???....

I'm sure if you can find a WM6 build for your Iteq X-Bond then you can certainly flash it.
I'm also sure that if you can dump your ROM, and have the necessary tools to restore it should you wish to return to WM5, then you can do this also.
Or if you can find a different WM5 ROM image you could also flash to that.
As you may have noticed though, we deal with HTC devices mainly here, and there's nothing dedicated to your device.
I think it is risky to upgrade your device to wm6. Since iteq has 64MB rom and as far as I know, wm6 needs at least 128MB. (correct me if I wrong), So until now I have not tried these wm6 extended roms on my iteq device.

With the new WM6 version (not released) going around I have been off the forums for awhile, my question is does anyone know if there has been an official rom of WM5 released by any of the carriers for the Universal?
We have many roms that have been (cooked) from some WM5 release but I am interested in a pure Universal WM5 Rom.... Any help would be greatly apreachiated
Urm, every original ROM from whichever brand your device is, is official WM5.
People cook roms because those official ones are generally crap.
Yes Alan you are right I made a general mistake in the post, what I wanted to ask for was the lates, best WM5 rom WWE version of course out so far, I use Blackberry connect and it doesn't seem to work on cooked roms with AKU2 or 3....

Right now Im thinking the exact same thing about my Acer n50, I dont think it can be done, your manufacturer needs to release an upgrade apparently. There must be a way to install it on any device though!

How is it possible? If you upgraded to wm5 lastly, how can it be a mix. It has to be fully wm5.
Anyway, as i said in the previous post, download your original device ROM and flash it
eg: if you have an o2 executive device, then, flash it with o2 ROm

Been Testing the WM6 Roms lately,but downgraded back to wm5 because of all the Problems Ive been Having,worked great for me,just get one of the WM5 roms (Links in this forum) and just replace the NK.nbf file of wm6 rom with the wm5 one,this worked great for me,but remember to use the right extended rom & radio version you want before programming,otherwise you will have the extended rom of wm6 still in your Uni.

i have wm5 and a wm6 system the skinn is like wm6 and many other progs and some things are from wm5 its a good system if someone want to test it how i can uploade this on page ?
or how i can download the rom form my device on my pc ? maby u can test it maby it´s the key to our problems ;D
Im running Windows Mobile 5 on my Universal. I havent done any ROM ungrades to it and wanted to know if its possible to install WM2003 (which i prefer) or WM6 on it, and if so, where do i get the files?
Can someone recommend any upgrades that I could perform anyway, eg ROMS, Radio, etc?

Hi all - I have a Samsung i780 that I bought in The Philippines in April 2008. It still has the original ROM (DXHA1) and I was putting off upgrading it to 6.1 when I started to see 6.5 ROMs on here.
I've seen some mentions of the "Russian ROM" and in one of the upgrading guides, it said that I have to upgrade to this before I can upgrade to anything else.
Can I do a straight upgrade from DXHA1 to one of the WM 6.5 builds posted on here now, or do I need to perform this intermediate step? I still love the phone and don't want to brick it
