Give your phone a while to boot up sometimes when I flash ROMS the cold boot config takes up to 10 minutes! Just leave your phone alone for a while and come back to it let it configure it's self. If that fails try entering boot loader by holding the camera button and just pressing(do not hold just press) the power button from there flash a stock ROM and start over.
Hope this helps.
solved
i solved it.i removed the sim card and the problem was gone.

A very practical way to solve your problem, It's good to hear that your dash is working.
Hi, i have a problem with my phone i could not find any solution online.
Two days ago the phone was in my pocket in sleep mode. I took it out and it was closed, no button was responding, i took the battery out, put it back again and started it. It asked for the pin code, i entered then it said "unlocking sim card" then the phone restarted.
From that moment it constantly restarts, regardless of me entering pin code or not, it restarts. I use stock firmware and i didn't do any overclocking or any modifications to the phone.
I tried the boot screen (the one which is entered by pushing yolume down+power button) I did factory reset from that screen, it didn't help. I put the phone in recovery mode and a screen appears and nothing happens, i think it is like a dfu mode in iphone, i don't know how to use it. In the boot screen a green text screen appears for a second says "PC101img.zip is missing" or something like that.
Do i have to load the rom again to this phone? If so how can i do that?
Any help will be appreciated.
Hey,
i've never heard of this issue on any phone.
So you coulds just try to do a few things.
First you could try to flash a new radio ROM.
just see the android developement section and the radio thread.
the radio doesnt change the actual rom on your device so yiou wouldnt loos your data.
it might help it might not, as we dont know what the reason for the issue ist.
when does it reboot? when you enter the sim code?
try a different sim card, just to see if it still happens and/or try to remove the sim passcode.
this might help and might help to see where the issue is...

Thanks for the answer. I didn't try different sim card but i tried to start the phone without the sim card and the sd card. It didn't change anything, it still restarts after few seconds.

I don't see how a new radio would affect the phones sim card...
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA Premium App
The problem seems to be with the sim card. I changed the sim card of the phone and it didn't restart from that moment. I used vodafone sim card with the phone for a week and after a week sim card started restarting the phone.
Is there a known cause of vodafone sim cards doing this?
Re: Constantly reboot...
the same issue does happen on mine! Stock firmware, never rooted, however, I've tried using different SIM cards and removed SD card, the same situation still exists. Reboot and reboot... please help!

Yeah, and randomly suggesting to flash new radios for a problem this person never heard of before is not great advice. Bricking the phone is possible when radio flashing, and should be approached with caution, and only done when there is a radio-specific issue.

Uf ur phone works fine without sdcard then ur sdcard could be damaged so try a different 1.
U cant get into recovery because u are s-on & not rooted. To have a custom recovery u have to atleast be rooted.

And? I always used sandisk sdcards, i changed to a bigger card and brand then 1 day i put a rom on 1 of the sandisk cards, booted recovery, full wipe and installed the rom and booted fine but after that i got constant reboots so i put the same rom on my new sdcard and it worked fine, no reboots. Strange but true.

Its not bootloop as factory reset won't work. I try wipe cache also didn't work. Flashing another ROM didn't work. I change battery didn't work. I take out sd card didnt work. The only thing that can boot without problem is when I take out sim card. But I cannot connect to mobile network if I insert simcard after booting. I've try flash the radio back won't work. I hope any kind man will help me .right I'm using wifi to post this problem. Thank you

Have you tried with a different sim card? maybe yours got damaged or your sim card slot got messed. Try using a different one and then try cleaning with a bit of alcohol the slot and see what happens.
Yes . Another sim card work fine. Put back original sim card now can boot properly. Will try cleaning the slot after this. Just dont want to power off the phone at the moment. Thank you Mr glevitan, will hit thank button when on browser.

Yeah, then or it is the sim card or the slot might be dirty. With that, you can narrow down the possibilites. At least is not a hardware issue that is the worse scenario. Thanks :good:
My problem: The phone without a SIM card works. The phone with the SIM Card, shuts itself off and either refuses to start, or constantly restarts flashed many roms tried another sim cards but the problem persists

With a title like this no-one will respond to your question!
Hi, have you tried with another battery? That seems battery problem, if you have two years or more it, change it, luck.
