Thanks in advance

I hate jumping on these things and flaming people.
But seriously, the main post with 265,000 views and a wiki on the first post, is four items below you. (at time of writing, 35mins after your post).
Grow some eyes.

omg..........please open your eyes!

Don't worry man!! It happens..

USE OF PROFANITY IS NOT PERMITTED IN THIS FORUM. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED AND THIS THREAD CLOSED

You need a step-by-step guide - how good for you! Just read the Wiki more careful. There is a foolproof EXE for download in the progress section.

Is this what you are looking for: http://www.stdev.org/2008/11/01/GettingStartedWithAndroidOnTheHTCDiamond.aspx
Though not much fun in the android on diamond yet, nothing really works, would wait some time if I was you, to at least some stable version with working drivers is out.

Wouldn't it have been easier just to point to the Wiki where there are details of all the ROM versions, the download links AND the related threads, rather than giving the newb a hard time and getting all snotty about it?

Please stop to treat people like anything/nothing. Mistakes can happen and let the administrator of the forum take decision to delete the same repeated thread. Nobody is perfect.
For the moment, it would have been better to show a newbie the related link.
The best way to learn for a newb is to read a lot, search, find and report if there is a problem !! like i do
It's better to learn fishing then have a fish in your plate !!
Just my opinion

As I said, everybody are not clever, otherwise the world would have been changed. Especially when you see that the noob can't even express properly in english, whereas it's obligatory, If everybody can learn everything by themselves!!! Mostly when you feel extremely hungry, you don't go for fishing but buy a readymade fish .Just my opinion!
My regards,
Let me be clear : i didn't say i'm clever than the average user of a PPC. Just i'm a bit tired and disappointed to read on this fantastic forum so interesting some threads posting by users who didn't take time just to read the wiki or search in this forum. I think the goal of a forum is to share our ability and knowledge and not answer to question which has already an answer in the forum even if you have to find it.
P.S. : Here everyone is giving extra time for free and i hope it will not change. And as you say, if you want a ready made fish : you have to pay for it... It's not the point here.
Regards

linux and ps questions

For the playstation emulator you can download it from here......also, you'll need to make an image file of your preferred PSone games by using some cd burner software like nero or ultraiso....for some games, go **********well, that's all i could help for now...i hope that someone can post some tutorial on how to make linux works on ba....i'm just too lazy to search for it,,,,,

I apologize for not answering your question, but the truth of the matter is that it was already answered by hfzarx. Links aside, my answer would have been the same. Again, I apologize for not replying, I simply did not see the point if there was already an answer to your question.
no why apologize!!!!
firstly there is no place for apologizing here we are all brothers if you dont mind with this. secound thing he answer just apart of the question my questions are for two things linux<first i want to know how can i install linux on my BA and what is the benefit that will i have when i install it or in what i will use it?> and ps games.thanks for all thanks for you egzthunder1.
well, me too has some problems running the latest version of the emu(0.1)... maybe you should try the 0.095 or 0.096 version..it works on my ba...however, i don't enjoy much playing ps1 games on my ba as my d-pad button is no longer working......i've just googled some info about linux and found this website but i dont seem to be able to open it(limited guest account on this pc--i'm at a cybercafe--) hope you'll find your way around it....
There is a tutorial in the wiki on how to do it but it is kind of old. I will try to upload my folder with QTopia later today. To use, simply put everything in a clean SD card and run HaRet. As far as the benefits of using Linux... at this point... not many. The development for this slowed down/stopped a while back, so there has not been much progress on it. Aside from being able to say "I am running a Linux build on my BA" there isn't a whole lot you can do with it (however, it is fun to play with it for a while). I hope this answers your question.
thanks
i know from the beginning that you are a great supervisor in this site and i just waited you answer bcs i know that is the correct one and the tested one thank you mr.egzthunder1 thank you alot Do not deprive us of your answers

[VIDEO TUTORIAL]Multiple Video Tutorials on How To Install Android to NAND on the HD2

Please vote for this thread to be featured on the front page by clicking the "Vote To Front Page" button above this post!
Here is a video tutorial I put together in great quality on how to install the new android NAND ROM with full description. Please share this as well, there are no good tutorials on it yet and I spend a lot of time putting this together.
Please help spread the word about this video and help it get pinned if possible! This new Android ROM is huge and there are no good video tutorials on it yet. I put hours into this tutorial and it will help a lot of people get a better understanding!
IMPORTANT!! Please use this Video Tutorial ALONG with the written guide *HERE* as following just the Video Tutorial may lead you to miss parts of the process that could cause problems later.
If you are having any problems installing MAGLDR or the NAND ROM the fixes for them can be found by clicking here!
MOD EDIT:: Embedded YouTube video fixed!!
Click here to download MAGLDR version 1.11
Click here to download Android NAND ROM
If you want to get back to windows mobile hold down the power and volume bottom. You will see the colors screen. Then you can enter back into windows mobile, by putting a windows rom on your phone.
I will be updating information about battery life as well
I took the phone off the charger this mourning at 8:30 AM (PST) it is now 11:00 AM and I still have a full battery gauge.
It has now been 7 hours and I still have 75% battery life, I think its putting out a lot better then the SD version.
After a total of 18 hours and 47 minutes my phone finally died and lost all battery power, it had a good first run, I used it frequently also, I like the battery power!

Correction, the hspl (or even spl version) DOESN"T show when you boot your phone. The only way to see it is to boot into bootloader mode.

Thank you for the PM's everybody! Keep them coming!
Am sorry, but can you make another tutorial or even some steps about flashing back to WinMo, in case someone messed thing up?
You do it the same exact way you flash the android ROM, you need to hold the power button to enter MAGLDR and then go into the "USB Flasher" once you have done that you can download any WinMo rom and install it back on your phone! Nothing to it.

Nexus has become sluggish after recent update (how should I restore or root?)

I'm trying to fix my cousin's galaxy nexus that was bought new a few months ago. It's jus that after the recent system update, his whole phone has become sluggish, and it doesn't feel right. I must admit that I've never owned an Android device (neither has he) so we both really don't know how to fix it or restore the phone. I looked in the development section but its just so overwhelming, not sure what I should be looking for or trying out..
Can someone please point this beginner in the right direction? I read that the latest update was causing problems and people installed the "stock version" on their phones, which made it better, but I don't know I how I would go about doing that.
I'd appreciate some feedback thanks!
Android version: 4.2.1
Do you need the baseband, kernel version, build number?
This isn't a support site so you're going to need some self reliance.
This is a good starting point.

I know this is not a support site but this is the section to ask for help, isn't it? I read through that sticky but it doesn't necessarily explain how I would go about restoring me phone to install a stock copy of the latest Android..I really don't want to mess up this phone so that is why I want to confirm everything before I try to load something onto it.
If you scroll to the 2nd post in that thread there's a link to a guide to return to stock as well as a guide to root.

Best way to make it quick is to earse everything like I did after owning my Nexus for 1 yr. Back up everything that needs backing up on a computer.
But the New 4.2 update is pretty heavy and causes lag. Also having low storage space can cause it to slow down too I think.
Here's what I recommend. Root it. Have u done that yet? If not I'll help. It's REALLY easy. Only four commands(I believe) and a driver for adb and fastboot and the SUfile and the recovery.img.
This will EARSE everything. So you'll be fresh. And then put ur freshly backed up stuff back on the phone.
--------------------------------------------------
If I have helped you.... hit that sexy thanks button. ^_^

Newbie just wants bloat wear off

I'm new to the forums and am interested in learning how to root my specific phone (mix 2) using my desk top. I have been browsing the forums and can't seem to find it. A link or anything really pointing me in the right direction would be nice. Also when I see stuff like this %USERPROFILE%\adb-fastboot on the linage os guide I find my self lost. And that's just the part where I'm getting my PC set up.
Help will be greatly appreciated!
I'm ready to learn!
Definitely read through the /r/xiaomi wiki, a lot of basic knowledge is covered in there. https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/wiki/index
