I sold a Tytn II to an eBay user. I also advised this person to come to XDA for an Italian ROM.
Now the phone is stolen (or actually undelivered according to the buyer).
If I provide you (XDA ADMIN) with the email address of the buyer would you be able to check if he has been downloading Italian ROMS for a Tytn 2 ?

I'm afraid that most of the ROMs here are hosted on outside fileservers, like RapidShare or Megaupload, so admins can't provide you such informations...
Did you insure it on the way out?
Also, you should check the tracking with the company you sent it with. If it says delivered, then he could be lying.

hi..u can order a stylus in any o2 shop, and by headset do u mean bluetooth, or wired?...their both available in o2 shops. readily available from installers, just ask for details in a shop like carphone warehouse. where are ur originals gone?.....i sincerely hope u dont possess a stolen item!
What would make you think it is stolen just because it lacks certain accessories, many items are sold on ebay and through adverts without the other bits.
Need to source headset for XDA, due to the fact that I damaged my last one while trying to adjust the clip. It ripped the wires apart. I have tried the O2 shops and they only stock items fro the XDAII. They are no longer holding stock for XDA. Also they only have stylus for XDAII, I am presently using an XDAII stylus and lose at least three a month. and at 20 Euro a packet, would like to cut my losses down.........
And to confirm I do not possess a stolen phone, thank you.
Silverki, I dont know if you wish to take this route but ebay have lots of cheap stuff for xda, just log on at www.ebay.co.uk and search xda.

looks like the usual scam posting that comes on here occasionally. Only difference is they are using an ameinfo.com email address instead of the better known yahoo or hotmail addresses that everyone knows to stay away from. Ameinfo.com is (according to their website) "the ultimate Middle East business resource", they still give out a free email address to anyone that cares to register with them though. As for the rest of the posting it is the usual badly worded nonsense that no professional company would create, for example what does "we are registered under co-operate
affairs commission of ." mean, and would you really want to buy a "topmost powerfull networking" phone off anyone?

My update from O2...
I emailed O2 with this exact question....(When will WM6 be available for download)
They called me a day later saying that they intend to release WM6 for the Orbit at the end of summer (around end of August sometime). That was exactly what they told me.............
I guess it's just a bit more of a waiting game then..........so annoying when version 6 has been around for a while already.....

as far as im aware, it is a free upgrade.
and im also sure that the licences from microsoft are for a free upgrade too.

dude, just send it back for repair.. will take a week and cost you nothing!

..just spoken to O2 Business as I currently have an account with several orbits....they claimed to know nothing about an update at all.

I'm getting annoyed with O2, they are taking our money away and doing nothing back. Orbit is such a lovely phone and the only reason they do not release the wm6 update is to buy a new xda. Buggers.

Yes, I emailed them a few days ago and got a reply from support saying that they were not going to offer a WM6 upgrade for any current WM5 devices.

Yes, I got the same response a few weeks ago.
After playing with WM6 and Touch Flo on my wifes new MDA Touch I took the plunge and flashed Tom's Black & Blue ROM v4.0. It works very well with the MDA Compact 3 and even seems to have slightly better GPS battery performance and the orginal ROM (see my thread on battery performance).
So far I have not had any issues with it other than the ones posted on the huge thread on the ROM. The only pain for me is the lack of video playback but I believe Tom is working on this.
Other minor bugs include,
Today screen not updating unless you soft reset (not a big deal)

One of the things that has stopped me from trying WM6 is my uncertainty of being able to get back to an original ROM/Ext ROM.

I have the original rom somewhere. I will upload tonight hopefully but belive me. There is no reason to go back.
I have a UK MDA Compact III and upgraded to a few roms before settling on the official Asian rom (as its in english) and its perfect. Does all the same stuff but better.
Ive flicked between official Tmob rom and the WM6 ones no problems. Been on WM6 for several months now and all is good. No issues that warrant a change back.
I dont like black and blue due to the junk it has installed and this isnt the most powerful device on the planet. So I use the official rom with the black skin so it looks as good but runs infinatly faster.

It's political. HTC want that their customer buy the new p3600i with WM6 + 500Mhz + 256Mb Ram..

Well the cooked version of WM6 are out and are off a good quality so sod HTC,
we still have WM6 through the back door!
Didn´t they also said that didnt had any knowledge about P3600 having GPS, when in fact same model was being sold at asia and australia with GPS activated? I remeber that P3600 was brand new and they wanted to sell P3300 as fast as possible, because they knew that if GPS was activated no one would buy P3300 that hasn´t. Few months later, they release ROM´s with GPS active.
In resume, HTC always lie to their customers and always try some delays to sell worst units they got in stock.
I believe, they will release WM6, but not now... not as long they have worst models on sale.
