From the excellent work of FInixNOver I dashed into the adaptation, even the modification, of the DLL phcanoverbmp.dll to make it compatible QVGA. After some evenings on the subject here is any warmth release of furnaces Taskbar everything in color!

We could again replace some icones but it would be to the detriment of Kb, I thus opted for a compromise aesthetics / weight. Besides the resolution QVGA shows icones 16x16 what does not still allow to obtain a sharpness of details.

Noted: the Logo "Start" and the satellite dish situated above the signal of the network make party of shellres.96.dll, If you also wish to replace these icones 2 complete the installation by copying this DLL in your directory Windows. As for the color of the network signal, this one depends on the color of the subject and not on a DLL.

Volume icones depend of HTCVolumeSettings.dll (for HTC devices). Try to find your favs icones (dll files) with the search function.

i did not make any other changes to the battery icons yet,i have a trinity and i need to change my battery.dll file to get that 1% meter,but with it i have a battery drain,so i can try to make something but i do not promise that i will succeed! have a nice day

i'll make a battery icon but i'm not sure if it will work for other devices than Trinity,because as i said the icons for 1% are in different dll file, if you give your dll i'll compile one for you too , the other option is to make one for the 10% it will be working on other QVGA devices i think

Can't : too much details... only few icones could rendered in 16x16 for QVGA. These originals 32x32 (i guess) will be crashed when converted.

Me too, i'm also just collecting It's good to know a place where you can find useful apps, i'm also trying to create a website with useful freeware apps and roms for the artemis. but i'll have to ask all programmers if they allow me to do so...for some roms i already have the permissions to create a mirror-server with their ROMS...

just copy your own welcomehead.96.png into the windows directory and you have your own picture after the htc-world screen...

you can easily make it on your own....or just use google or search the forum for examples
attached you can see mine, it's easy to create for example with photofiltre (a free picture-editor)
just tried to do it with a pic i had. renamed it to welcomedhead.96.png... copied into windows, got error message, file in use or the file is read only... ne way... got work in morning... im gna get some sleep...

use total commander on the device and copy the file in the windows-folder, then it should work.... ps: you can't just rename a bmp for example to png, you need to save it in this format.. ... Getting some sleep sounds good....me too! Cheers, good night !

About GNes
GNes is an app that rotates the screen according to the G-Sensor or according to the setting for a specific application.
Most important, GNes is designed to conserve CPU and battery power.
Settings:
- Global settings are for all applications that are not specifically listed
- Disabling all rotations modes means that the application will use the last active rotation mode
- GNes will not activate the G-Sensor in case that there is no or one rotation mode selected, but it will rotate the screen if necessary.
- By setting one rotation mode to an application you can decide what screen orientation the application will use.

now thats the newest versions u r using and how was exam hoop it went well for u and preparing the final version means that vocation has started !! and also youtube will be working with the last build ? i hoop but i will be waiting for this ROM. and can u please make an addon applications that we can download if we are using lite or basic versions and then we can install them after words like (opera, windows live or softwares that u r going to exclude specially the HTC input keyboard really appretiate it if u put it as addon cabs for basic versions ) THANKS alot !!

How to some of you has already struck, a small error has occurred me with 2 icons (email & program tab).
Now here the revised icons with grey shades 4 all tabs - this are to the better detection with my black wallpaper.
I have still added to the callerhistory tab and the comManager tab in addition.

How to install this theme?
Just download the skin.Pray Grey.zip and copy it into the same directory on your device where you can find the ThumbCal.exe. (e.g.: "program files/thumbcal/" or on German devices: "Programme/ThumbCal/").
Don´t unzip it!
Go under ThumbCal/settings/skin and choose Pray Grey - Thats all

What a great Theme. Thanx for all the work. You have to work weeks on it. Are u a professional grafic designer? The work is great and i love it.
Some ROMs allready used it and i know why. It's one of the best dark themes on earth.
What i wish is the same in white. I LOVE WHITE THEMES, so this must be next.

overview
The theme contains
- slider bar and icons
- wallpapers high res for all tabs
- wallpaper (semi-)high res (512x512) for home tab
- wallpaper for landscape (music and photo's&video's tab)
- top curtain
- calendar surround
- some more changed images (for compatibility)
- taskbar color and gradient (for WM6.5 and WM6.1)
What it doesn't contain is the nice taskbar iconset.

Since you're on this forum I assume that you have a HTC Blackstone (aka Touch HD).
Manila is an extra "shell" that HTC puts on top off WM6.
It's what make your HTC so beautiful

I used a trick to overcome a problem with manila 2.5 showing a black stripe across the screen.
Is that what you are referring to?

The theme doesn't include manila 2.5
My stock rom was a dutch version with old manila, so I've used USPL to change that.

I recognize your frustration, because I'm only a "junior" member myself and it's only since recent that I try to skin the Blackstone.
Skinning has (more or less) only to do with images and not as much with programming. I have very limited knowledge about the programming part.
So here is how I see it:
WM6.1 is your operating system (comparable to xp or vista on your desktop.
Manila is an extra shell. You have manila 1.3 (like I did)
WM6.1 and Manila are put in the Read Only Memory (ROM) of the Blackstone.
Because it's read only, you can't write in a normal way to this memory. Flashing can been seen as a special way to write in this "read only" memory.
What is referred to as a ROM on this forum is actually WM6 and Manila and ....) that will be written in the ROM of your Blackstone.
You can flash (change to) Manila 2.5 directly. It's not necessary to go via 2.1 to 2.5.
How to flash a ROM is explained in the link I gave you earlier.
I recommend that you read this thoroughly!

If you like to, you can flash any Rom found in the Blackstone ROM development section. Even with WM6.5.
I hope that this is good enough for you to get started. It takes a lot of reading of posts on this forum to get a bit of understanding. I only pointed out two threads, but you probably need to read more before you can flash!
I hope that the two threads will lead you to the others.
So what I am saying is that you better worry about your own patience.

I really don't know, but if it's manila 2.5 on your Diamond I guess it can be done by installing the cab.
If it doesn't work you can always uninstall the cab.

i've flashed my phone. it is now 1.56, but i have weird colours

it took 30 seconds or something like that, nothing has been erased and i can synchronize my phone with achtivesync.
BlackstoneRUUWrapper doesn't work.
the steps i followed dont say anything about a hard reset, but some other threads say you always have to do a hard reset after flashing. what is a hard reset?

It turns out that I should have named the theme
[Theme] OSX style (manila 2.5 & WM6.1)
So for those who already are using WM6.5 here is a fix for the taskbar and commandbar (aka softkeybar).
The cab puts an image in the windows directory and edit the registry for it.
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\SoftKeyBar - SoftKeyBarThemeImage
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\TaskBar - TaskBarThemeImage
The image is the same as what you see at the preview in post #1.

Hm.. After installing the transparent taskbar, my Sense dont start anymore. Tried deinstalling, softrest and removed the battery. Even tried FixStartManila but no luck.

My all mods do not work with CHT
12 shortcut clean and StartMenu4 worked nice with CHT.
But deinstalling dont help! What can I do to start Sense again?

I had in view of mods for manila!
If cht it is established, its darings. If it is in rom that use the program theme switcher http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=614075
It will scan the windows folder for all *manila files that has a different date to the original Rom installation. After that all will return as was!

then go to ,settings, system, remove programs
unistall "cht hvga port"
then "chteditor"
then "co0kies home tab"
in any of this unistallations, if this message appears"..was not completely removed..." and the item is not removed from the list, you must do the next step:
go to your file explorer and run the installer cab of that program(for example co0kies home tab)
as the message "the previous version of..." appears, click "ok" and then "yes" and let the mod installs.then let the phone restarts.
in my phone (with stock rom) this will not install the mod again, but unistalls it comletely!
hope works for you too

That indeed brings my old Sense back, thanx for that!
But now I´m unable to install CHT again... maybe its time for a hardreset or another rom.. or do you have more ideas?

Good work man, hope you release a better version soon. Changes I like to see, same size of Calender and Call History. Clock to be centered.
