Has anyone done any registry hacks to make PocketMusic (or any other player) the default MP3 source on the Orbit? I have just got the W100 remote and do not use Windows Media Player, but it is the default! I want to set the remote to work with PocketMusic.....
Failing this! How do I get Media Player to go straight into my music library when the remote activates the programme?
Thanks in advance.
tcpmp core player allows you to define what extensions to use.

when i start to configure the Conduits WMP Plugin Adapter 2.31 i cant check anything on this plugin....
What rom do you use ?
Pocket Player works with AVRCP. But bluetooth implementation itself is kind of buggy. Could be my setup though.

Hallo rifmouk,
i use my device without manila, with manila the htc player and AVRCP works well.
Do you use any from the players above, with AVRCP without Manila?
regards
zehn
It works
With the pocketplayer from conduits,
avrcp works without manila or sense however the crap is named.
Look at this post http://www.conduits.com/community/forum_posts.asp?TID=1802&PN=1&TPN=1

Can someone help me out with this problem?
In some ROMs using a bluetooth or wired remote opens windows media player instead of navigating through the manila media player. I can't find in the registry how to change this. Does anyone have any ideas? I would just use wmp but the library is always losing my music files.
Thanks in advance.
Hi to everyone,
Everybody knows the sound lagging bug in HTC Touch Diamond which was fixed by HTC with their fix located on their website.
Another thing is that WMP is always opens when you're using buttons on headset - this fix is corrected too by installing old BT Drivers (T-Back BT Drivers.cab) and working CorePlayer by checking WMP A2DP plugin in CorePlayer's settings.
All these things are fixed in latest official ROM.
But I am interested in latest WM 6.5 (23569) Super Lite ROM in which it's possible to use A2DP headset without lagging and working AVRCP in CorePlayer
I am using now.
I have tried some of the ROMs like Benko (which is the best fits for my needs except not working AVRCP in CorePlayer after installing old BT Drivers (T-Back BT Drivers.cab)).
Please put here your WM 6.5 (23569) ROM where you have tested A2DP and AVRCP in CorePlayer and it's free storage and RAM after installing it.
Thank you in advance.
I thinks Energy ROM is the best 23569... or Ralphusion... If u like sth else, like 21911, u can try Don Salari... is't the best 6.5 ROM for Diamond I've ever used!
I'm using Coreplayer and the buttons on the headset activates HTC Sense player.
On my Raphael I had similar problems, when using the "Play button" on the headset Sense player started all though Coreplayer was running.
Some genious created a cab that solved this on the Raphael (originally it might even have been developed for Rhodium...)
The same cab I used on the Raphael doesnt have the desired effect on the Rhodium.
The name of the cab is: "T-Back 6.5 BT Driver.cab"
Any ideas on how to get the BT stereo headset buttons to interact with Core player?
I'm running a stock 6.5 rom.
That's normally because the headset interacts with the default media player. See this thread for information on changing that.

Thanks for your input... But associating mp3 files with coreplayer didn't help...
