Make Artemis Sound Alarm in Silent Mode - P3300, MDA Compact III ROM Development

Hello,
Is there a way to make this happen?
I noticed in a few custom rom's that they have this feature but i am currently testing Touch Vanilla 4.02 and this does not have this feature.
Does anyone know how to add this feature or if there is a cab file i can install or anything???
Cheers..
.Kev.

i wondered the same, so i could keep on my phone without being woken by texts

Yue ROMS have this option activated, but it does not work when using third party software to make ARTE silent, like photo contact pro.
Wondering whey this option aint worken perfectly.

There are 3rd party ones that will let you do it. The one I use is a program called "alarm clock" - had a quick look but cant find the cab. Will upload if I have it at home.

spb sound and g-alarm can do this

Profiles on 8525

I have an 8525 and love it, i just put the WM6 rom on a few days ago but feel that there is something missing. I was wondering if there was a simple freeware program out there that gave the 8525 profiles. I had a 2125 and it would change the phone to a silent mode when i had a meeting set up in out look, i miss this feature and hope someone out there knows of a program.
HTC HOME has a profile tab and more:

profiles of 8525
thanks the program works good, it is a little too much on the display of the phone though. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove some of the features or add other ones to this plugin, i got the HHC customizer and it does not allow for the changes that i would like to make.. I am open for sugestions
As of yet you can not change anything in the HTC Home except its looks and number of tabs. There is no way how to shrink it or how to add more functionality.
It's not freeware (costs 15.00 buckazoids) but I like it... SBSH PPhoneWeaver
Actually I typically just hold the Comm Manager Button to put the device into Vibrate mode myself..
I like SPB Phone Suite. It has most of the stuff the WM6 is missing (at least for me). Unfortunately, it's $20.
I use Phone alarm which works really well.
Is there a ROM that has a profile feature? I am kinda new to this and am not sure what is really out there.
i like profiles from winmobileapps.

Alarm Clock

I dont know if any of you use the alarm clock function on your mobile but in the past (on previous phones) i found it very useful. The alarm clock on the blackstone seems to have much more limited funcitonailty than my previous model phones though. ie there is no way to change what it uses as the alarm (meaning you cant use custom sounds from mp3s) and there is also no snooze function. I was wondering if anyone new either a way of doing this on the existing built in alarm function or another app which i can load onto the phone which do have these functions.
you can select custom sounds under the clocks and setting by clicking on the little bell.
i use galarm personally and find it quite usefull. together with secondtoday and the today plugin it's easy to manage.
I use klaxon as it integrates into the TF3D alarmclock and is g-sen enabled like galarm. you can also use custom sounds with klaxon

G-Alarm problem

I love this G-alarm But how can i see them at X1 panels.
I have install them works good but i dont see them at panels, i see only time tab from my today settings :?
I hope some one can help
Sry for my bad language cause i didnt learn, my bad
I would also like to know if there's a way to make G-alarm the default alarm app in Windows Mobile, so that it will show the alarm icon next to the watch in Today scrren and in the panels. And to start G-alarm when I try to change my alarm in the SPB Panel for example...
In older TF3D-versions (before Landscape) i activated the option in G-Alarm for integration in TF3D and it was loaded by tapping the "next-alarm-time" shown right below the flip clock on TF3D start-tab.
Since i use YYYYY's R2A-Rom it doesn't work, nothing change after activating this option. But adding the App to startmenu's shortcuts works for me, cause i'm not often seeing the start-tab
Ty a lot for help. I will wait next version of g-alarm

Please give me the old Notifications Manager feature back :(

Someone please help - I downloaded and installed Tarkim's Keyboard Remapping tool and it works great. I noticed, however, that it reverted my Notifications Manager feature back to the new TP2 way that you all seem to want and like. Before this install I'd found and installed Topaz's Notifications Manager that made the feature work like it did in my old TouchPro and T-Mo Wing before that, where you would click on a notification at the top of the screen and it opened each notification individually when tapped PLUS it gives you the old 5 Min/10 Min/15 Min/1 Hour/1 Day snooze options on alarms/reminders, instead of the new default 5 Min only snooze option offered w/ the Notifications Manager on the TP2. This may not be a problem for some but I happen to not like the new Notifications bar/window on the TP2 and downloaded the Topaz Notification Manager Cab to get the Notifications to work in the traditional way and it was working beautifully. BUT when I installed this Keyboard Configurator it put the old TP2 Notifications bar/window back but w/ some tweaks - When you tap the top of your screen in the Notifications area, the Notifications window opens BUT you are able to tap the Data bar inside and it opens the Comm Manager and the Battery bar opens the Power Manager. I think the SDKcerts has something to do w/ this but I really don't know??
I have tried uninstalling the Keyboard Remapping tool and the SDKcerts that it came w/ and the Topaz Notification Manager and reinstalling only Topaz and the old SDKcerts it came w/, but it still gives me the TP2 Not Manager screen w/ extra tweaks. I just want the old one back. Please, can anyone help me get it back???
Thanks so much,
Len
the Topaz Notification Manager is the new Notification Manager but adds the battery part since the TP2 NM takes out the battery guage.
It DOES NOT do what you want it to, so it must have been some other registry hack or app that you installed to get it the old way.
i hope this is what are you looking for:

A.
Xnifex, I think you're right. I did a hard reset back to fact settings and installed the following only and in this order:
1) Keyboard config (w/o SDKcerts pkg'ed w/ the program. (this made the program inoperable, by the way))
2) The original SDKcerts & Topaz Notifications Manager (that I thought gave me the old TouchPro Notification settings)
Result: Exactly what you said - TP2 Notifications bar/window but w/ enhancements to Battery and Comm Managers.
Gosh, guess I have to figure out which of the programs I installed that gave me the old way.
as_x1 - Not exactly what I was looking for but I sure appreciate your response and trying to help.
I appreciate you both and will repost once I figure out what gave it to me...I'm hopeful!
UPDATE: FOUND THE FIX...
OMG xnifex, I found the fix!!! And it was w/ the Topaz Notifications Manager...well, slightly. As I said before, I am a super novice, so with that said again, I just realized when I downloaded the Topaz Not. Mngr, it came w/ 2 files in the .Zip - the Topaz Not. Mngr Cab and a sdkcerts Cab. Since I didn't know what the "sdkcerts" was, and the instructions didn't tell me to install it, I only installed the Topaz Not. Mngr Cab file. Well low & behold - that alone gives you the old Touch Pro Not. Mngr options where you can touch on each one at the top of the screen individually and a bubble opens w/ their respective details and features. PLUS it gives you back the old Reminder & Alarm snooze interval options!
Needless to say, I'm very happy to have found this answer BUT I really want to have the ability to customize my hardware keys and keyboard. This means installing the Keyboard Configurator WITH the infamous SDKcerts Cab. What do I do? Is there anyway around this?? Can someone create an SDKcerts Cab that keeps these old Touch Pro Not. Mngr settings??? Or is it at all possible to install the Keyboard Config w/o the SDKcerts????
Well, there's my dilemma :-/ If you or anyone out there can help me, I sure would appreciate it!! I'll also send an email to Tarkim since he seems to know quite a bit about his Keyboard Config.
Thanks so much!!!

Sound profiles (not volume levels)

I want to be able to change the sounds for the incoming call, new text message, ect, with a clicks or two...
I have spb phone suite and it allows me to set up profiles to adjust volume levels, but i want an easy way to change the actual sounds.
I want the phone set to a certain group of sounds during the day, and then at night change to a different set of sounds.
Any suggestions on how to get this done without a ton of work or where an app is at that does this?
Again, i dont need to adjust sound levels, but the sounds themselves...
Bringing this back to the top.

I have used Phonealarm for years. It is almost too customizable, but it will change volumes, tones, vibrate patterns, light the LED, and more. Its a Today plug-in but there also a couple of ways to integrate with TF3D.
There's a trial on www.pocketmax.net and I think it will do what you want.
+1 on PhoneAlarm, although I have not tried it on the Tilt 2 yet.
Sweet, thank you.
Im installing this as I type!
Phonealarm doesnt allow you to specify anything more then then ringtone.
You cant specify the sms or mms tones in the profiles...

Au contraire mon frere, with PA 2.2 you can setup custom email/SMS alarms base on subject/sender. I have not tried it yet, but it should work.
Wait, you just one per profile? That is definitely in there.
does PA allow me also to have a specific ringtone played according to the content of received sms'? I mean, having a standard ringtone (for every sms), and a secondary one only for sms that contain the word "emergency"?
thank you

Subject or Sender. Not body. (Do SMS messages have a subject?) I don't get SMS messages (only MMS), so I have not tested it. It's got a 15 day trial, so take it for a spin.
Does this allow you to point to sound files for ring tones or do you still have to dump them all in the messy windows directory? Does this include open close? (keyboard) sounds?
I want the ability to quickly change the phone/sms/mms sounds all at once.
PA does not do this that i could figure out.
If im wrong please help me figure it out, i would be greatful.
Also, if its not any easier then navigating to the default "sounds and notifications" settings then it does no good for me.
Optimally i would like an icon in my apps to click on, and then 1 more click to change sounds.
If I understand what you're asking for, this functionality was included in 6.1 (at least on my Blackjack II and Dash/Excalibur).
I was able to navigate to start > settings > profiles, then have 4 or 5 customizable profiles to choose from. I'd typically use a "silent" profile for situations like sitting in a movie theater, "normal" for everyday use, and "outdoor" or "loud" with everything at full volume.
These profiles were selected either from the profiles menu or by quickly pressing the power button (which puts my Tilt2 to sleep) and selecting the profile I wanted to use.
This is an extremely useful feature. I've looked all over and it appears that it isn't included in Windows Mobile 6.5 which is very surprising.
It looks like there are some 3rd party apps that might do this. This one looks to be the most promising and has a 14 day trial: http://www.penreader.com/windows-mobile-software/Handy_Assistant.html
Edit: This one looks like it might work too - though a little dated: http://www.jgui.net/phoneprofiles/index.html
