I had some problems with memory consumption too, that I was able to resolve with some changes in the registry.
I used the Advanced Config Tool. But You can modify the registry by hand.
Using Advanced Config Tool:
* 'File System cache: enabled'
* 'File system cache size: Auto
* 'File system filter cache: disabled'
* Glyph cache: 32KB
Modifying the registry:

Hi Nikitto, I got my trin faster changing those settings, thanks. Coincidence or not as I installed NETCF3.5 (I forgot to mention this ROM has shipped NETCF2.0) in order to run AdvCfg I notice improved performace even before changing settings.
This is far the ROM that I've ported most components (including mediahub codecs!) and it's impressive how all these things still work on our Trin!!
Btw, it's better install another dialer this one gets me crazy everytime i turn on the device!!!

I'll try your Rom soon, because I want to check some things, like YouTube & HTC Album.
I wasn't able to run the play video function and I had problems with YouTube, too. Maybe, I think, some problems with the codecs.
At the end, I installed YouTubePlay. It runs properly over WM6.1.
I've used Dialer_Touch_3G since always. I've not got problems with it.

You need to sign mui as they are resource dll. Sometimes signing throws an error and you can't use them. Remember network plugin? That's an example of a mui that i never was able to translate and after that no more translations!
I'll wait for original muis, they will come. Anyway tell me if you can successfully sign mui!

I want to try this ROM, but after 2 upgrades, hard-reset, soft-reset, etc., my Trinity was stuck on the white HTC initial screen. 10 minutes waiting and nothing happened.
Have to flash another ROM...
Anyone with the same problem?

mmmhmm no problem on the upgrade everything went normally on first upgrade, did a hard-reset took memory card out, boot-loader mode and run the upgrade went normally u should try this rom its a very good work
The only difference was I not taked out the memory card... you think could be that?
I tested again after my post, flash original vodafone WM5, re-flash PTG Rom and this time was a black screen, stuck even before the white HTC initial screen
I'm very dissapointed but I will try later one more time but without the memory card.

Posted some screenshots, problem using vSnap
The process is almost the same I do.
Is not the first time I flash a ROM and the hole process goes well, no error "X", nothing; everything goes normal, but after flash ended, first boot and stuck... I never saw the Operative System.
May be I'll wait until anyone got the same problem or any new idea from the cooker.

I don´t know exactly what correct the problem but I flash the ROM again and this time everything works fine.
I follow VIPPER2004's advice and remove the memory card, but don't know why, this time I use Des' Crash-Proof SPL instead Olipro's Hard-SPL 1.20.
Sometime I read people have problems with one or another and maybe this time makes all the difference.
Hope this could help somebody with the same problem.

Testing for almost one day...
The Rom is working fast and stable. At the moment battery drain is normal compared with original WM5.
No loosing password or settings after a few soft-resets.
Tom Tom and iGo8 are running very well.

Yes, 3G dialer was included into kitchen, but only with polish mui.

You know this Mobile phone had Windows Mobile 5.
And upgrade it in Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.
But fact is I feeling some problem in this OS.
Problem is in my keyboard button 'Z', 'Y' etc. When I press Z then output is Y and when press Y it's output Z. And TouchFLO 1.0.1818.3719 not working properly. Sometime it's stopped. And when I open my keyboard then explorer have some problem. It's can't show properly.
And BIG PROBLEM IS: Memory problem.
Maximum time it's show memory overflow and it's who 3% free or 2% free. Program using 99% RAM. But I'm not using any program.
Please help me boss to suggest the perfect suggestion. Because I'm very much interested to use Upgraded OS And Interactive and Smooth.

You can set it with advanced configuration tool
this is very deprecated project, but you can try "lite" version or minimal configurations in kitchen (full configurations have a big defect).

in general i find the Microsoft builds faster and more stable. The HTC ones are rebuilds and ive found are a bit more fiddely

Folder missed and other lang in sys
I saw that the folders office_dpi_96 and MediaOS_dpi_96_resh_240_resv_320 are missing. Use the one attached.
And there are office_0804 and office_0804_dpi_96 folders extra... btw the netcf folder is 2.0 not 3.5... suggestion dont add them and use 3.5 and for officedont add them and use other complete.
Mixing the provided NK from da_g edited by utaker... works flawless! 21MB on programs on fresh boot.

Kitchen is pretty eay to setup. You just need the files from the thread, and one official ROM. Unpack the official ROM into a folder, run the kitchen, ignore all the errors generated on first run, click dump nbh/nb/payload, point it to your unpacked ROM folder, and the kitchen is all setup in the 'dump' folder for modifying

Bugs post!
Known bugs/bugfixes:
*- TouchFlo3D 2.1 by yozgatg won't load: (WM6.5.1 BUG)
For make it load and correctly you have to disable TouchFlo3D, reboot, re-enable TouchFlo3D. Then it'll work flawlessly.
*- TouchFlo3D 2.1 by yozgatg won't take the correct on screen position: (WM6.5.1 BUG)
For having a correct screen position, go into Windows -> Startup folder and run ManilaFixPosition. FIXED.
*- Buttons on the side won't control the volume on the device but shows the titlebarlist: (WM6.5.1 BUG????)
As for now, I don't know what to do for fixing that, but if you want to control the volume, just show the titlebarlist and tap on the volume control button. --- FIXED ON V0.7 AND UPCOMING RELEASES
*- Cannot enter Owner Infos without passing through TF3D2.1: (WM6.5.1 - disabled by default)
Delete the "Redirect" key in the registry location "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Owner" and soft reset. Thanks to Petr-S.
*- The TaskManager overlays with clock!! What to do?!?
On older versions of the ROM, you can delete ManilaFixPosition and install the new ShowCase V1.1.0! Starting from v0.93c/0.94 this is FIXED!
*- PhoneCanvas doesn't show the slider for SlideToAnswer: how can I answer/ignore an incoming call?!?
Simply use the hardware buttons. The slider is not shown because the PhoneCanvas isn't fully ported.
*- PhoneCanvas doesn't show the KEYPAD and END CALL buttons... how do I make the keypad shown when I want?
The two buttons are shown.. really! I'm not kidding! XD They're just a bit hidden and difficult to tap... Look on the bottom: the grey "line" is the Keypad button.. and the red "line" is the End Call button. You have to tap the Keypad button with your pen.. Yes, it's a bit difficult, but you can do it.
As for the End Call button... ouh... use the hardware button to end your call.. it's not necessary to tap that red button on the screen XD
As written, the PhoneCanvas is not fully ported to VGA devices.. it not depends by me.. I'm sorry, but it's the only canvasthat supports VideoCall.. and that doesn't bug the People tab on TF3D2.1!

*- GPS doesn't work or takes forever to fix with satellites!
There is a common problem with this!
If you've got a non original battery... take off that **** from your device and use an original battery. It'll work.
If you've got an original battery and still doesn't work.... TAKE IT OFF, wait some minutes while capacitors discharges, mount your battery into your device and... wow! GPS takes 10seconds to fix!

You'll have to change a registry key:

And there's the description of the needed registry key:

So, to disable the Manila Start Menu, you have to set it at value "1".

Everything sounds promising. Flashing and testing
This is my optinion:
1. It displays " tab here to launch TF3D " - but it's unable to run TF3D .
2. The new windows 6.5 core ( or something else which I don't its name ) looks stupid . when it has a new bar at the bottom.
3. The Ok/Close buttons have been move to bottom bar so the top bar has a problem with HTC Task Manager ( when you tab the place at the X button - the bar looks ugly).
4. The star menu icons should to be sorted .
I've tried your rom in 3 mins and I'm flashing back to another rom so I can't post your rom picture here.
Good luck in your next rom / fix / upgrade .

Unfortunately for now I can't resolve the bug that fails to start Manila at first boot without doing the icezar's workaround....

I want to specify that is only a beta and there are a lot of problems, inherit of new 23025 version of WM6.5... that's not my fault for now.
I've integrated TF3D2.1 because it is faster than 2.0, but it's copletely stable only on WM6.1 for now, at least for what I've tried only on Gen.Y 6.1 ROM.
But don't be afraid of this bugs, I'll correct these ASAP.
This ROM will have more customizations and a lot more modifications and tweaks, I'll post some later maybe.
I'll see what I can do for today
@fast34: No, in beta versions all will be only in WWE. But if you want, you can download manila language packs and have TF3D2.1 in ITA, but all in Wm6.5 will be WWE. I'll add ITA MUI in 1.0 version.
