Differencies between ROM versions:

This is a lightweight ROM, thinked for the FULL customization of your OS. You have a completely CLEAN OS, where you have to install the CABs you want to customize it. This is a "DIY (Do It Yourself)" version of EugeniaROM.

Bugs post!
Known bugs/bugfixes:
*- TouchFlo3D 2.1 by yozgatg won't load: (WM6.5.1 BUG)
For make it load and correctly you have to disable TouchFlo3D, reboot, re-enable TouchFlo3D. Then it'll work flawlessly.
*- TouchFlo3D 2.1 by yozgatg won't take the correct on screen position: (WM6.5.1 BUG)
For having a correct screen position, go into Windows -> Startup folder and run ManilaFixPosition. FIXED.
*- Buttons on the side won't control the volume on the device but shows the titlebarlist: (WM6.5.1 BUG????)
As for now, I don't know what to do for fixing that, but if you want to control the volume, just show the titlebarlist and tap on the volume control button. --- FIXED ON V0.7 AND UPCOMING RELEASES
*- Cannot enter Owner Infos without passing through TF3D2.1: (WM6.5.1 - disabled by default)
Delete the "Redirect" key in the registry location "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Owner" and soft reset. Thanks to Petr-S.
*- The TaskManager overlays with clock!! What to do?!?
On older versions of the ROM, you can delete ManilaFixPosition and install the new ShowCase V1.1.0! Starting from v0.93c/0.94 this is FIXED!
*- PhoneCanvas doesn't show the slider for SlideToAnswer: how can I answer/ignore an incoming call?!?
Simply use the hardware buttons. The slider is not shown because the PhoneCanvas isn't fully ported.
*- PhoneCanvas doesn't show the KEYPAD and END CALL buttons... how do I make the keypad shown when I want?
The two buttons are shown.. really! I'm not kidding! XD They're just a bit hidden and difficult to tap... Look on the bottom: the grey "line" is the Keypad button.. and the red "line" is the End Call button. You have to tap the Keypad button with your pen.. Yes, it's a bit difficult, but you can do it.
As for the End Call button... ouh... use the hardware button to end your call.. it's not necessary to tap that red button on the screen XD
As written, the PhoneCanvas is not fully ported to VGA devices.. it not depends by me.. I'm sorry, but it's the only canvasthat supports VideoCall.. and that doesn't bug the People tab on TF3D2.1!

Change the value: "BioToShowMenu" to 1.
When this is done, the ezinput sip menu pops up, and from the "Touch Input Settings" menu, you can set it NOT to vibrate..
This is also the place to change the dictionary language and keyboard layout.

You already have it! Just click on top-left of the screen, where on WM6.1 is the start button, and it'll show you the Manila Start Menu
On my WM6.5.1 ROMs you've got both the start menus, Microsoft and HTC!
*- GPS doesn't work or takes forever to fix with satellites!
There is a common problem with this!
If you've got a non original battery... take off that **** from your device and use an original battery. It'll work.
If you've got an original battery and still doesn't work.... TAKE IT OFF, wait some minutes while capacitors discharges, mount your battery into your device and... wow! GPS takes 10seconds to fix!
*- I want to disable the forced use of TouchFlo3D start menu.
You'll have to change a registry key:
Go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\e-Natives Technology\Showcase]
And there's the description of the needed registry key:
"SUITE_ManilaStartMenu"
Type: DWORD
Description: Will launch Manila Start Menu instead Default Windows Mobile's Start Menu
Value: 1 = enabled, 0 = disabled
Default: 0
So, to disable the Manila Start Menu, you have to set it at value "1".

Everything sounds promising. Flashing and testing
This is my optinion:
1. It displays " tab here to launch TF3D " - but it's unable to run TF3D .
2. The new windows 6.5 core ( or something else which I don't its name ) looks stupid . when it has a new bar at the bottom.
3. The Ok/Close buttons have been move to bottom bar so the top bar has a problem with HTC Task Manager ( when you tab the place at the X button - the bar looks ugly).
4. The star menu icons should to be sorted .
I've tried your rom in 3 mins and I'm flashing back to another rom so I can't post your rom picture here.
Good luck in your next rom / fix / upgrade .

Unfortunately for now I can't resolve the bug that fails to start Manila at first boot without doing the icezar's workaround....
For getting it to work FOR NOW do what icezar said to make it work (I forgot to write that, sorry).

I want to specify that is only a beta and there are a lot of problems, inherit of new 23025 version of WM6.5... that's not my fault for now.
I've integrated TF3D2.1 because it is faster than 2.0, but it's copletely stable only on WM6.1 for now, at least for what I've tried only on Gen.Y 6.1 ROM.
But don't be afraid of this bugs, I'll correct these ASAP.
This ROM will have more customizations and a lot more modifications and tweaks, I'll post some later maybe.
I'll see what I can do for today
@fast34: No, in beta versions all will be only in WWE. But if you want, you can download manila language packs and have TF3D2.1 in ITA, but all in Wm6.5 will be WWE. I'll add ITA MUI in 1.0 version.

Great job...always glad to have a new hermes chef! Does the lite have a 2G or 3G dialer? I prefer 2G...
I just downloaded "20931 Manila 2D Full ": nice job... I'm quite liking M2D now it seems to work well on a Hermes...
Initial impressions:
Internet tab does not work for me (but this can be tweaked with M2D customizer I'm told), Utube works, which is a first.
One niggle, the file explorer has gone from start>programs - I've added it to my programs tab but I'm used to finding it in the programs folder!
I like the black... but that makes the multicoloured icons on the upper bar a bit at odds with the theme! [IMHO]

I think this looks like a very promising ROM. May somebody report on battery use? Any chances that you come up with a less lite rom including opal canvas dialer, htc camera 4.0, registry tweaks, advanced config 3.3, CRC's device update and a comm manager with 3G toggle?

on the full M2D, the cooked advance configuration is broken. Going to try the lite and see if its the same results.

FAST and CLEAN just like a ROM should be. Great work. The only suggestion is to change the 3G and battery icons. They are old and quite ugly. My opinion only.

This ROM is exactly what I want but I have the same recommendation, with the newer data icons and battery meter with color and 1% increments this ROM would be perfect. The only other thing I will add to it besides the usual apps is the Opal 2G dialer just like pda corner or something a little jazzier but thats no biggie.
i cant read my text messages and for me it's to slow (with my apps). though it looks REALLY nice. back to T-Mobile's Rom

Wireless Manager link is dead in settings. button dun work also.
its clean but i believe this is a must to be included, the 3g phone app must be included for hermes if not user will not be able to use 3G video conference & the 3g button is not assign to anything.

Have you download comm manager from device update
SMS messaging does not work. When I click on a received text i get the box to type in but it takes up the whole screen and I cant see what was said in the text. This is with the threaded setting turned on in advanced config.
Love the amount of RAM you have free. I would give this a try but need the incremental battery meter and ideally the Opal 2G dialer. Glad you haveCRC's device update included so I can change Comm Manager.

Hey man, this can be worked around by turning off threaded messaging, and fixed by the chef by replacing htmlnote.dll in SYS\redist folder
Hey Dude,
For the clean ROM, it is nothing in ROM only Base ROM. You have the option to make your own ROM and to your taste. So, you have all the apps, how they need to install via device update.
For example: Comm Manager, MMS software, Dial 3G or 2G, another themen...
I hope that you have now a clear understanding my clean ROM.

Made just before my "departure", I will be back in few days. The Sense update hopefully fixed the lock issues that you may have encountered as well as the weather blocking reminders. But it isn't CFC'd for now so it may take up more RAM and storage space than before. That's why I removed Ahen Start Icons from the Sense edition of ROM.
Classic Dialer might not work with the latest Sense just yet but I'm working on that.
## NOTE- On 1st Boot Don't do anything as XDA_UC will complete the Customisation process and Reset the Device.
## NOTE- For AHEN Taskbar Icons Shown in Screenshots go HERE

Q: What can I do to lower my RAM usage?
A: Let's see a few tips:
Close open programs (use Task Manager or Showcase or you can install ArkSwitch or anything else that you like).
Clean up RAM with CleanRAM in Apps folder
Disable HTC dialer using Dialer Switcher in Tweaks - 5-7MB of RAM saved
Disable Ahen Start Menu Icons using Remove Programs in Settings - you'll gain 6-8MB of RAM! (Can be re-added using a tool in Tweaks)
With these, you can eventually get to nice 46% used RAM after boot with Titanium!
Q. Incoming SMS doesn't make any sound, the phone just vibrates. Where can I set the sound?
A. SMS ringtone and other tones can be set in Start -> Settings -> Sounds & Notifications, tab Notifications. SMS event is named "Messaging: New text message".
Q. I don't like new Starry theme...
A. I have included the old Wooden background as well. You can select it under Start -> Settings -> Home.
Q. Pagepool of all Roms?
A. All Roms are by default 10mb PagePool.
Q. Storage and Program Memory Available?

custom taskbar is of tsowen 6 v 3.
clock and date are in lite and full versions, its from PD Clock today plugin.
and herez the background.
Tried the clean version, seems to work fine. But version number is 21038? Will try the lite and maybe the full version too.
Bug: Task Manager keep applications running although set to close
I've noticed a bug: When setting Settings>System>Task Manager to close apps when hitting X, the apps still keep on running in the background.

yeah i noticed this as well, but apart from this its a great clean and fast rom
i'm using the lite version with rhodium manila v1d and it works great, i also installed rhodium volume control & notifications + htc gsensor
the only thing missing is rhodium comm manager/wifi settings, is there a cab for those?

yes it is. and its reason is the nuenobar application used to remove lower taskbar. have been looking for a solution. as soon as i get it will fix it.

the default nadavi communication manager is already there.
Restore of boot screen
Since there's an automatic installation of a new splash screen with this ROM (the one with the three 'balls'...), couldn't please give us a guide to how to restore the original splash screen? Thank you.

cool fast rom. seems stable and smooth. but have a bug in lite rom, always in call the volume of speaker goes down and then i have to again and again move it up to hear.

i had the complete files in my lappy but its gone for repair.
soo herz d rough tutorial:
1. Create the wallpaper 480 x 640
2. Convert the image to a .bmp (just use paint and save as a 24 bit bmp)
3. then use the tool to convert to .nb (Follow the instructions up to the .nb)

4. Use a nbh tool to convert from .nb to .nbh (you may have to change the xml file after running it once. I just changed the Kaiser info to the Diamond info)

Push Internet is disabled by default to save RAM, you can enable it by installing the attached cab, but be aware that this will keep Opera runnings in the background.

For those that are experiencing incall volume control problems, please install this cab. This will revert to the (older) original diamond volume control, but be advised that you will lose single/dual option support.

The new album v3 doesn't rotate the picture based on orientation, instead it just chooses the optimal orientation and fills the screen. However the menu (and gestures) will rotate based on orientation.

What is User Customization (UC) ?
UC allows you to install all your apps automatically at first boot during customisation. For more information see this thread.
To do this, you need to place an sdconfig.txt in Internal Storage that tells UC what to do, here's my example (please not that i'm using an NLD rom, which is why it says Intern Geheugen instead of Internal Storage):

Recommendations:
- Use G-Alarm instead of the standard alarm, its much much better
- Even with all optimizations, the memory leak in Windows Mobile can never be completely fixed, that's why having CleanRAM on your device a very good idea
- You can use Touch Incall Screen Tweak to make your screen automatically turn on / turn the speaker on etc. based on g-sensor orientation during a call
- For the Lock, u should try the latest version of Slide2Unlock2 (S2U2) or ThrottleLock, i attached a cab that installs my Android-Topaz skin (based on the Pre-Android theme by akirasport).

A suggestion, maybe you can consider using the old diamond phonecanvas until topaz phone canvas is fully successfully ported.

- Flawlessly integrates with TF3D2 (call buttons work)
- The ringtone delay is minimal (almost instantly)
once fully ported, it will also allow easy access to the contact card
also about youtube, i encountered no problems playing video's (with ActiveSync connection and also WiFi connection)

I enabled topaz phone canvas and tachi volume control in your 1.2.9 kitchen and build a ROM (Changed nothing else). I tried to watch youtube via HSDPA(NL Telfort), it says "Cannot play video".

in general i find the Microsoft builds faster and more stable. The HTC ones are rebuilds and ive found are a bit more fiddely

Use the one that utak3r post on the native thread... is bugfixed so it boots!
Folder missed and other lang in sys
I saw that the folders office_dpi_96 and MediaOS_dpi_96_resh_240_resv_320 are missing. Use the one attached.
And there are office_0804 and office_0804_dpi_96 folders extra... btw the netcf folder is 2.0 not 3.5... suggestion dont add them and use 3.5 and for officedont add them and use other complete.
Mixing the provided NK from da_g edited by utaker... works flawless! 21MB on programs on fresh boot.

Either Josh's kitchen can't handle this stuff or im doing something wrong cause the only ports I can get to actually boot are ones he does..

Kitchen is pretty eay to setup. You just need the files from the thread, and one official ROM. Unpack the official ROM into a folder, run the kitchen, ignore all the errors generated on first run, click dump nbh/nb/payload, point it to your unpacked ROM folder, and the kitchen is all setup in the 'dump' folder for modifying

I have the download you pointed me too but it only includes the exe and tools folder. I assume I'm missing something
Its like the newest is suppose to go over a older version that includes more files I suppose.
