How to change path of incoming bluetooth file - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam ROM Development

Hi,
i often send files via BT from my Notebook to my Tytn, but my memory is very low, so i can't transfer only small files.
Is it possible to change the Path where the files is stored during transfer to the SD Card?
Greetings

Obex Inbox
Try 'Obex Inbox' available somewhere on this forum. It helps you receive files via Bluetooth anywhere on the device(i.e. On the SD Card as well) and even when the phone is in standby-mode.
And offcourse its free(I think).

or you can use moblue.

not stating what device
and what rom you are using
or even what type of sdcard
makes it rather imposible for people to pitch in

Bluetooth issue about OBEX push

I got my Pro2 yesterday, but soon I found that HTC used WIDCOMM Bluetooth driver on Pro2, which I don't like very much, I prefer the old Windows driver.
Here is the problem, when other devices send a file to me through BT(OBEX), my Pro2 requires a passkey(the same issue on Pro can be solved by unchecking the related box on the bluetooth setting page), and I can't find any setting in the Bluetooth interface about disabling passkey requirement. OBEXInboxEX doesn't work with the new WIDCOMM driver too.
It's annoying when someone wanna send me a file, we have to pair first or enter the useless passkey.
Anyone else using Pro2 has the same issue ?
EDIT:[SOLVED BY REG HACKING]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WIDCOMM\BTConfig\Services\0002]
"Encryption"=dword:00000000
"Authorization"=dword:00000000
"Encryption"
0: No passkey is needed.
1(def): Requires passkey if the file is sending by devices NOT on the paired list.
"Authorization":
0: Receive all files automatically without asking.
1(def): Ask for each file if you wanna receive.
Another issue comes along with the new driver: I can't use Resco File Explorer to send a file through Bluetooth anymore, it always gives me a "Failed to activate Bluetooth device" message. Though, the system File Explorer works, but I hate using it.
ObexInbox is not needed anymore. See in btooth settings > Advanced > File Transfer.
The best is "Save file to storage card when present".
If i'm not mistaken, if we set path to storage card with obexinbox, file is not saved when sd card is not exist.
Total Commander also dont have the send via btooth. When using resco, ur btooth is on or off?
Edit: TotalCommander v2.5 Beta 1 support Broadcomm/Widcomm stack.

Click to collapse
I saw the setting about file saving folder. But OBEXInBox shows a message box when receiving file which includes current speed, file name, precentage and time remaining. The current Bluetooth interface doesn't. I prefer OBEXInBox rather than the built-in one.
Resco File Explorer gives the same error message no matter BT is on/off/discoverable. Look at this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=521972#9
I think Resco uses the Microsoft Bluetooth interface/API/whatever , but the official ROM just doesn't include the Microsoft Bluetooth interface/API/whatever.

Need help: File names become CAPITAL when browsing in SD card???

When I copy some files or folders into my SD card, the names look just right on my computer. but when I put SD into my mobile phone and browse them, the names of some(not all of them) files/folders become capital.
I've tried XP and Win7, still the same.
For example: I copy two folders - conf and media - into my SD card, but they become CONF and MEDIA in my mobile.
How could this happen? Somebody can help me with this?
What is the output when you run "cat /etc/fstab" on your phone via command line?
thanks for replying.
I'm sorry I didnt make myself clear. this all happened in WM65, not in Android.
maybe I've post it in the wrong place ^_^

SD Card Problem in download folder

Hi,
for a few days, i have a problem with the download folder on my sdcard.
if i access the 'download' folder with a file-manager (like ASTRO or any other..),
i get a notification, that there is an error (i guess an access-error) with the sd-card. (and the filemanager shuts down after a few seconds)
In the 'download' folder there are some strange files, which i can not access, delete, rename etc..
some have the size of 0 k, some have a few MBs and some have a size of almost 500-600 MB.
i don't know where they come from and what they really do. also the filenames are pretty weird. (the names contain 'at'-sign ...).
if this error occurs and i open the camera, there is also a notification, that i cannot take any pictures due to an sdcard-error.
does anyone know what these files are? or what to do?
kind regards
Markus
If you hava a card-reader I would take the card out and delete the files with a PC.
A Card reader is not available. But if I connect my DHD via usb and access as a hard drive,I can see the files, but cannot access them. No read / write access.
What I haven't done yet, to copy all the files from my sdcard to my pc, format the sdcard from my pc and copy all the data back. (of course only the data which are accessable). Hopefully it will not harm my desire hd.
M.
If you use Linux you definitely can mount the SD-card and do what you want with the files there (you may have to become root) but it is acutally quite easy.
I just dit it on my DHD.
If you don't have Linux installed, just download an Ubuntu Live-CD, boot from it, plug in your DHD via usb, select "drive mode" (or whatever it is called) on the DHD, go to the directory where the card is now mounted, solve your DHD problem and you don't even leave a trace on you harddrive.
