I just don't use TouchFlo but I would like to use the contact manager you have when it's activated. By default you have the poor winmo contact manager/editor when TF is not active. I want to change this with the manila one. Do you know the trick ?

I wrote a programm which allows someone to send SMS over CherrySMS (a online Service).
It even adds these SMS messages to the Sent Items (SMS) Folder.
But afterall it is not really well integrated into Manila & Windows Mobile.
I'm searching for a way to add a menu entry into the Manila Messages view (where you can see received messages) and the Threaded View that I can simply click on that and my application starts and can reply to that message.
By searching the web I just found a way to add menu extensions to PocketOutlook, but that's not enough for HTC/manila based phones.
So is there any good way to archieve that?

The manila tv player has a functionallity like this! i think you can stick to the implementation they used in their files...
Where do you actually see the sourcecode of manila tv? I just see a cab file and a description how to add channels to this application.
But afterall it's not such a bad idea to completly replace the SMS/message view in manila. It might be a start ... thank you
Does someone else know a way to add a menu entry to a manila based application? Maybe it is a xml-file, or a registry entry? Sorry I don't know very much about this whole Manila stuff (especially the manipulation of it).
I have few minor problems with the stock rom...
i flashed with the new stock rom, used the adv. tool and hd hack, but i damadged the phone too much so i hard reset the phone.
now i want to change the stuff only by regedit, and done that for almost all what i wanted.. there are just few things that bother me....
i could not find the reg edit for the big fonts that are default in this rom (the menus, the IE fonts, ...)... the advanced tool had that option but i cannot find the reg for it...
if you check the attachment for IE and one opened WEB page, itd BIIIG... even zooming it to small does not help, after pressng one ling, i get a biiig page again... im going crazy...
i managed to fix the fonts in the menus on HOME, but in IE the menus still are big, and donno why they are bad if i have the pro2 screeen turned down.
anyone knows the reg fix for this big fonts, i guess the ie pages will be small once i do that...

in internet explorer: Menu-View-Text Size- select smallest?
does not help... the os fonts are set to big in the regestry somewhere...
need to set them to normal.
Well, after much effort, I was able to get Manila (TouchFlo) 2D installed and somewhat operable on my Samsung SCH-i760. I like it much better than the normal Today Screen for WM 6.1. The problems I have now are... well, I'll just list them below in order of importance (to me).
1. I cannot add any contacts in the "People" tab. When I slide over to the tab, there are the little icons with + signs on them like you're supposed to touch to create a new contact. The problem is when I touch one of those icons, all it does is highlight for like half a second.
2. I cannot add programs to the "Programs" tab. It's the exact same problem that I have with the "People" tab. I touch one of the icons with a plus sign on it, and it just highlights for a second.
3. I cannot change the skin no matter what I do! I have tried installing the .cab skins, and tried using M2DC with .m2dct skin files and it just won't work.
In case you're wondering, I am using mbarvian's patched Manila 2D v2.0 build 19171723 cab. And like I mentioned above, I am using a Samsung SCH-i760 with WM 6.1 Professional running.
Anyone with any insight or advice please let me know! I really appreciate it!

i have the htc hd2.
i've installed bsb tweaks and CHTeditor.
today i've activated s2u2.
i like it. it's iphonelike and comfotarble, but...
when i get a call, the wm6.5 slide to answer and small picture are still active, and i can see the answer key of the s2u2, underneath.
i have 2 questions:
1. am i missing something? how do i cancel the wm6.5 look and keep only s2u2
2. do i need the bsb and CHT or is s2u2 has all of their options?
i have to say that at some point when i played a bit with CHT suddenly i couldn't get the old slider lockscreen and had to install another one...
shoul i uninstall CHT? i realy like s2u2...
