I have an 8525 and love it, i just put the WM6 rom on a few days ago but feel that there is something missing. I was wondering if there was a simple freeware program out there that gave the 8525 profiles. I had a 2125 and it would change the phone to a silent mode when i had a meeting set up in out look, i miss this feature and hope someone out there knows of a program.

thanks the program works good, it is a little too much on the display of the phone though. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove some of the features or add other ones to this plugin, i got the HHC customizer and it does not allow for the changes that i would like to make.. I am open for sugestions
As of yet you can not change anything in the HTC Home except its looks and number of tabs. There is no way how to shrink it or how to add more functionality.
It's not freeware (costs 15.00 buckazoids) but I like it... SBSH PPhoneWeaver
Actually I typically just hold the Comm Manager Button to put the device into Vibrate mode myself..
I like SPB Phone Suite. It has most of the stuff the WM6 is missing (at least for me). Unfortunately, it's $20.
I use Phone alarm which works really well.
Is there a ROM that has a profile feature? I am kinda new to this and am not sure what is really out there.

anyone know of a cab file for the quick dial contacts screen/page of the cube. it's all use the cube for, so i'd like to just have my other favorites (main ones being on home) mapped to a button. just press and it's there, without the cube animation etc.

I have the same question (1.5 years later). Is there a standalone version of the QuickDial application from the HTC Cube (without TouchFlo and without the Cube)? I would like to call it from a shortcut on the today screen so that I can dial favorite contacts safely while driving. (A VGA version would be even better.)

BTW: I know that TF3D has a similar contacts dialer, but I have TF3D disabled because...
1) I can't customize the TF3D home screen to suite my needs
2) The device lock doesn't work in TF3D with device pin protection enabled, but the regular WM6.1 "Today Screen" device lock does work.
If someone knows how to bring-up the TF3D contacts screen with TF3D disabled, then that would work for me.
TouchFlo Detacher is yet another way to simultaneously have TouchFlo 3D and the regular Today screen. Previous excellent solutions include SecondToday and ManilaControl.
Description
So what makes it different? Well, this app is actually very similar to MastSogo's ManilaControl. The main difference is that the author plans to actively develop it for a while, whereas ManilaControl has been a bit frozen in development for a few months. Other than that, it's just another solution for the same problem!

- Free up your Today screen by hosting Manila outside of the Today screen! TouchFlo Detacher can launch/show/hide/close Manila independent of any other Today screen settings. Now you can have your TouchFlo cake and eat it too! The most obvious use is to assign a soft key to toggle between seeing TouchFlo and seeing the regular Today screen.
- Service runs as a background application (in your StartUp folder) for maximum speed when toggling Manila modes.
- NO ANNOYING SPLASH SCREEN when application launches.
- Service is 100% idle when not receiving messages or controlling TouchFlo, so no CPU is wasted! (Just a tiny bit of RAM)
- Configuration application allows modifying manila.exe location, manila window class, and more, so that this utility can (presumably) be used with other manila versions (such as TouchFlo 2D). i am running the "non TF3D" screen with Resco today plugin and launcher.....if i try to put a background (via setting Today, use picture as background...) no matter which kind of picture i choose, they are opaque.
cant figure out a solution.

I have tried WAD2 and Spb Mobile Shell and I like many of the things that those things bring that TF3D doesn't. I like them both, but I have not been able to break away from the TF3D which is one of the major factors I purchased the phone. Now I can have my cake and eat it too. We'll give it a shot! Thanks.
Update - I loaded it and it seems to work great. I loaded back my Spb Mobile Shell and seems to be working nicely between. It did take a few tweaks, but it is running fine. One thing however is that when I am back in TF3D my hard home key doesn't work to bring me back to the TF3D home. Any ideas?
Thanks for the program cardefbel but I am having a problem with it....notice that if I'm using the SPB screen it won't go back to TF3D after 15mins.....if I want my TF3D i need to reboot it.....but if I on the TF3D I can swap to SPB anytime.....

Are you using SPB mobile shell or SPB pocket plus. I tried to reproduce it with SPB mobile shell, but the switching to TF3D worked for me after 15 mins.
BTW, it's not a program I wrote, found it on the net and realy liked it.

i just upgraded my touch hd with the Miri V10 Rom...
I really like the SLIDE 2 ANSWER FUNCTION of S2U2.
But it doen't work properly here:
when i get a call, the slider opens and i can move the slider... but nothing happens!
When i slide to ANSWER, nothing happens... the phone keeps ringing...
When i slide to ABORT (or something like that), nothing happens... the phone keeps ringing...
do you guys have an idea, what's wrong here ??

Which version of S2U2 are you using?
I'm using Leo R4 and the same think appens to me. To be able to answer calls I have to disable S2U2 caller ID.
Same thing with Energy ROM and latest S2U2.

Y - also had this prob - seems as it doesnt replace the mailla screen always probably...
So the Manilla answering screen is !behind! the S2U2 screen - and you just can answer by pressing the answer button where you expected it former...
Try to deactivate S2U2 phone capability - restart - reactivate it - restart

Today I flashed XannyTech 1.9 Rom and have the same Problem. The manila Dialer is "behind" s2u2 and I cannot answer any call. When I disable the manila Dialer, s2u2 works perfectly but then I cannot call anyone out of manila contactmanager... Isn't there any solution for this problem?

same problem with mine i really think it is time for s2u2 to look in to this problem are the cookers of the roms bout maybe need to come together and find the solution i love s2u2

1. Dialer request
I will use a 3g Dialer, like Topaz/Rhodium Dialer but i don´t need the Slide to Answer from the Dialer, i will use S2U2 to do that. Is there a Dialer without S2A, can i use HTC Dialer without Sense/Manila?
When i have a Incomming call comes for a 1sec. a Windows Popup to Answer or Ignore the Call. Can i turn of the Popup?
2.Lost VOIP Connection
When i call over W-Lan and the screen goes Off, switch the Speaker and Mic off. I have changed Regkey to Wlan on Standby but what can i do with Speaker and Mic?
Same is on my Bluetooth Headset too.

3.Lockscreen Button
I will use only S2U2 to lock my Device, when i press the Power Button locks S2U2 but when i Press on Startmenu (Lower-Left) "Lock" then comes the old Lock from Windows same is on shortcuts in Startmenu or SPB Widget. How can i complete delete / turn off the Windows old style Lock?
4.Connection Wizzard
I like the HTC ConWiz, it works on the first Boot but I see no Provider list and Checkboxes. What files i need and in which Folder comes the Files?
