IF you pull your battery and restart, is it still in bootloader?
Yes even after taking out the battery it goes into bootloader mode.
Exit bootloader: hold camera key, wait three seconds and hold down power key also until phone turns off
If it still boots into bootloader you may have to flash via SD card. Search the forum for my previous posts (use nbh from WM5.0 then upgrade to WM6.X).

Hey.
had a problem with nexus ( maybe still have)
Gave it to O2 for repair.
Picked phone back today and Ive noticed that bootloader is unlocked ( wasn't)
as they have downloaded old software on the phone 4.0.1 , phone found new update.
When installing it, it came out with red exclamation mark .... after taking battery out, it wont find the update again....
had unlocked bootloader anything to do with updating ? how do I update now ?
How do I lock it back ? or is it better to leave it like it is ? what are advantages ??
thanks for all help
leave it unlocked learn to flash recovery then learn to flash ROMs and you can have 4.0.4 today

Reboot into fastboot mode, plug into your computer (assuming you have the driver installed), open a command prompt in the same directory as your fastboot.exe file and type: fastboot oem lock

If it is unlocked, you can use fastboot commands to flash images to your device - this may alleviate a lot of heartache later on. If you lock the bootloader, and you need to unlock it again, it will wipe all of your data (including anything stored on /sdcard).
thanks for all answers...
I have find out that they flashed my phone with yakjuxw and thats the reason it won't update I think
I was about to flash it last night, but I have noticed that the issue which was reason for me to give phone for repair is still there...
So will hold up with it and give it back to repair on Monday...again...

this pone was unlocked and after unlocking sim card was working for 2-3 hours and after doesn´t work. and i had entered the code to see if pone is able to unlock bootloader and isn´t, after i tried to root it. i think that the cause is because the battery was in low level. This pone is from SFR France
sorry for my english

I've got a mi 5s plus with a locked bootloader and i read that you can use the special cable and the qualcomm mode to flash a rom with miflash.
I've tried the global stable and china stable with both saying success in miflash. but when i go to start the phone it doesnt start on the first press. then on the second its stuck on the mi logo.
i think im able to get to fastboot/recovery mode but as my bootloader is locked i dont think that matters.
How are people flashing with miflash with a locked bootloader. I've tried so many times with the same outcome.
any help would be appreciated.
Anyone? The phone just seems stuck in EDL mode...... ive successfully flashed it over 15 times now but it wont start up.

I'm not aware of any special cables, the first thing is to unlock your bootloader, you can use this process (http://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-5/how-to/unlocking-xiaomi-mi-5-bootloader-t3336243)
After that you can install any rom

Thanks I suppose this is the way I might have to do it. Is there a way to lock the bootloader after flashing so that Android Pay and my work apps still work?

I'm really sorry but I'm not using Android pay.
Ever since Feb of this year my Realme X2 has never been fix, there's no solution for the Boot Image has been destroyed. So I had no choice but two just keep it on my cabinet for months now. I can't bring it to a repair center of Realme since this was bought in China. So I have up in the idea that this will never be fix and I just wasted money for that phone.
Did you unlock the bootloader? have you tried holding all 3 buttons ? (power vol - vol +) if you've unlocked bootloader phone will reboot into bootloader but you have a short time to flash a recovery and bring your phone back to life. if nothing works then the only thing you can do is sending the phone back to china for recovery.
See if the below video might help you un-brick your device.

Unfortunately I relocked my bootloader so that explains the problem, I can't boot into recovery nor in fastboot. So I lost hope on this already.

Hey guys, i received my OP9 Pro today and wanted to update it, then unlock the bootloader
Now i have blackscreen only. When i press Vol+ and Power, i get to the point where the warning with the orange text comes (So the bootloader is unlocked), but then it goes black again
The command "Adb Devices" Shows me my device, but in unauthorized state
Any Advice?

Keep holding it down continuously until you get somewhere, even during the black screen. No idea. Just something to try. Good luck.

That did not work. But Thanks!
Somehow i came into the fastboot mode. I think it worked because i pressed no button after the screen flashed for a millisecond. Then i locked the bootloader again, rebooted into bootloader, typed " fastboot flashing unlock" and that command worked perfectly fine. Weird but it worked
Just used the tool all in one to unlock the bootloader
Check here, had a similar issue with the Bootloader.
