this pone was unlocked and after unlocking sim card was working for 2-3 hours and after doesn´t work. and i had entered the code to see if pone is able to unlock bootloader and isn´t, after i tried to root it. i think that the cause is because the battery was in low level. This pone is from SFR France
sorry for my english

hi! i'm planning to buy the diamond when it comes out here in india...however, it's locked to a service provider AIRTEL's sims.
Now, my question is, if i go and get the device without the sim, the device won't go into phone mode. and probably it'll give a wrong-sim error at boot up
so, suppose i flash the phone to one of the ROMs, will that remove the sim-lock? or will i have to depend on a sim-unlock tool (which so far hasn't appeared on this forum yet)
also, will i be able to use the phone in offline (no-sim) mode?
can someone shed light on this...thanks!

im trying to flash my xperia arc to ics but it wont flash
it always stuck on vendor.sin or system.sin
plz help
use the latest flashtool and make sure verification is unticked before flashing
it still stuck on system.sin
when the flashing starts its all good until it reaches to flashing vendor
then the percentage is still the same 10%
The most common cause locked bootloader, have you have it unlocked?
how can i know if its locked?
i cant use my phone
i have the logo of sony and then i see a phone under a caution sign
here http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/instructions
knowing that you can't use your phone, just follow instruction to unlock it (don't read step 1-2, just jump to step 3)

well its like a digital fingerprint of a device..they are unique..no two fingerprints are same..they are 15 digits code.. Just key in *#06# on your mobile phone and it will display its IMEI number..just follow the instruction to unlock the bootloader man..
or you can find your IMEI in your phone box if i'm not mistaken
You can find the IMEI underneath the battery as well.
Swyped from my SE Xperia arc (LT15i) using Tapatalk 2
i unlocked the bootloader
and still the flashing cant be done

No . I don`t , my story with this phone is long, first time the phone has android 4.0.1 , i wanted to upgrade it to 4.3 OTA i just followed the instruction on YouTube how to upgrade
once the operation of upgrading is finished the phone rebooted and no signal nothing appear on lcd no vibration so i thought after searching that phone is hard bricked
what i did then looking for brick image to make phone up and then flash another one , i found my self in trouble unlocked phone became locked i lost everything on phone
baseband and IMEi is null and unknown ,
i bought the phone as unlocked sim phone and now nothing success with me
what i should do to fix this problem?
If you can get into download mode, flash a custom recovery to your phone and then flash an old cm11 ROM to see if you can get the phone booted.
which one to use

Which ROM did You flash? Hopefully the one's which were developed for locked bootloaders. You can flash FTF on locked bootloaders, but having an unlockable bootloader would have helped a lot. What do You get when You boot with no SIM or with a dead SIM?
I did flash the Nature Rom (aroma) for both locked and unlocked bootloader, and i flashed two ftf files and now any rom i flash ask for sim unlocking code..
When booting without a Sim it boots normally and i havent tried a dead SIM
Is it possible that the phone was unlocked by a code in the past and when i flashed it it lost that code???

The possibility is low, since many users must have used the ROM and at least I didn't notice any SIM lock case. Maybe something went wrong in flashing. What happens when You insert the SIM in other phone? Also, since You can boot with no SIM properly, try checking if any SIM security related setting are on in phone, disable them if any and then try inserting SIM without switching off the phone.
rom booting problem
hello guys i have a xiaomi mi 6. I got it from china and wanted to change to a global rom. I started all the proccess and when I tryied to select the rom i pressed the global stable one and it started downloading and installing the global developer rom. When it finished installing I started the device and when i selected the language the phone started rebooting and didnt stop doing that. then I trying to put an other rom to the phone and it didnt let me because i didnt have usb debugging enabled and i couldnt enable it because the device wasnt able to open further than the lock screen. I tryed unlocking the bootloader but me account wasnt linked with the device any more so it wasnt possible. I somebody help please. I am not able to use my device.

Ah but to change from China to global ROM or the other way requires unlocked boot loader...
Otherwise stuff like this happens.
The boot loader can be relocked again after the process.
Since the boot loader is locked there is less chance to solve the problem as you won't be able to flash twrp or use fastboot to flash firmware to the phone.
Another solution will be needed
That exactly happened to me.
I unbricked my phone with testpoint method.
It's easy procedure but you will have to open up your phone..
I Did it and never opened a phone before, its about open it and link 2 dots with a wire or something, and Then it goes to download mode and allows you to use mi flash and flash mi6. I recommend chinese developer rom (it will allow you to unlock bootloader afterwards)
Watch this russian guy do it, he makes it easy it took hours for me just search "mi6 testpoint" on YouTube
I got it fixed thank you guys
