Everything loads and boots up well for me, seems fast and stable so far apart from not being able to activesync.
Comes up with the error "connection not valid" cannot open connection...hmmm
ok a reboot sorted that one out, its running smooth again

I retract my last post after installing a few applications it wont reboot beyond the splash screen?
- Installed acrsoft mms 4281: Now when i get an SMS it wont load the message. It displays fine on the scrren when the notification comes through there, but it wont load so that i can reply/read. Going to uninstall mms when i get home and report back.
Otherwise good rom. Been along time since i've flashed any of mattkr's naked stuff so had to dig through my cabs folder lol. Power usage seems good which is really my main reason trying it after early reports.

Version 0.88 beta was built from scratch with newest SYS and XIP port 20755. I'm asking you to test the ROM. I am sure I missed more than enough bugs which need to be fixed. I used the ROM for the last couple of days and tried to fix the major bugs - so it should at least be usable. Please report any bugs as PM or in this thread as detailed as possible. That said, I hope you like and enjoy this beta version.
What makes this ROM special?
Like many other ROMs these days, my ROM has Manila2D as a today plugin cooked in. But unlike most of the other ROMs, I didn't include all of the Manila2D package but only the basic files to run Manila2D with the basic tabs properly. If you want to use the Picturetab e.g. you have to install a CAB after flashing the phone. Same for the YouTube player... and so on. This way I saved much program memory. After system start my ROM has ~27MB free program memory and without activating any other tabs and with normal daily use you will still have ~23-24MB of free program memory. This means you can operate the device without slowing down considerably.
This version is published as a business version, because problems with removing programs from the new 20924 SYS. I will publish the light version without Office etc. as soon as I can fix the problems.

Same problem encountered here, I cannot read sms in chinese even though I have installed the chinese font package.
I think it has something to do with the default system font you use or maybe other reasons.

I too would appreciate a version with the default font if it came out. If not, then this is fine.
After trying all the ROMs with M2D cooked in, I had determined they were all too slow and I was about to go back to HTC Home. Then I decided to do a clean install of tnyynt's SEXY ROM and then manually install M2D to try to get a faster version. Well, I did, and it was faster. Then tonight I figured I'd try this cooked version and I have to say wow! MUCH quicker than the version I was able to create by installing manually, and MUCH faster than the other cooked versions I've tried so far. None of that long lag between tapping and reaction.

I deactivated some of the tabs, like google maps, photos and music, but the Internettab should work fine right off flashing. You only have to install Opera to make the big 'world-link' working.
I think I will include the Manila2D Customizer found here in the next version of the ROM. XML editing for the tabs wont be necessary any more.

This ROM is based on tnyynt's ROMS. He's made three P3600i versions you can get here. They have the blue theme, and dialer, etc...

I've had this for a while now but have been super lackadaisical so i'm releasing it now.
Requirements: You should be familiar with cooking and should have read the wiki several times to get an idea how to do this. It's fairly straight-forward to cook, however modifying, adding, deleting, and creating stuff could be a challange. The steps are as follows:
-buildos+package_tools-4.2b3
-Go to the buildos tab
-Choose load ROM on top left
-Tick the programs that you want (i have provided hundreds of OEMs and if you want more, just create them using the CAB2OEM program i have included) and press Go.
-Popup will come up, choose the second option [Create_ROM_for_Hermes](edit the dump before you press Ok)
-ROM is now cooking
-NBH Tool comes up. Go to the second tab, NB to NBH.
-Under OS, press the ... and go to Tools>Htools>OS-new.nb>generate NBH file.
-Once the ROM is done cooking, pagepool patcher will come up. Choose the pagepool you want and exit it
-You can use PoolPage changer to change the pagepool
-Navigate to the directory you put the ROM and flash
-Enjoy!

Yes, the HTC one has quite some more stuff in it (Adobe, Java, HHC, etc.)
They are indeed SDHC ready (my 8gb Sandisk works perfectly).

Only Starbase64 and PhamQuang have got it working on M2D. JoshKoss roms don't like CV.

Custel's Cingular Video cab won't launch from programs or windows directory
I love the rom so far but being an AT&T user, I use the cingular video quite frequently for video news. Can anyone help me get HTC youtube app running on CRC's ROM? It installs and loads the thumbnails for videos but can't play video files. I've read that I have to use certain files from the Manila v20 thread to get it running properly.
My observation
As of now I am using a lite version

Initial findings
1. No problem connectiong to activesync ( so no need to worry about that one flashers!!!)
2. lovely Icons real nice it does compliment to the pumpkin ( slimy green for charging and speakers)
3. there was An interchange in WM5storage and wktask ( wm5storage is located in settings>> connections and wktask is located in programs) noticed that wm5storage has a problem n my device
just tried the bluetooth
it is beam is not readily activated so you have to activate this first( wish there was a moblue for easier transfer for bluetooth)

transfer works when I used moblue
so if the blutooth works I am just speculating that IR will work also for the WI-FI no access here

Can I burn with my SPL 2.10?
1.cant copy by file explorer from my sd in to device -have to use gsfinder
2.in connections have nothing
3.dial 3g gone only normal dial
4.camera got action after press key but only picture able to see without frame
5.cant install any cab file
the last one is made me get my crcs13naked back immediaetly

MrDSL thank you for your support! You can now test 20931 buil, I think it's fairly stable, I had this build (but not my own ) on my phone for about 2 moths/
In build 20931 I get a not able to execute repllog.exe right after aligning the screen and pretty much all the time after that.
During initial setup it also never finishes sdautorun.exe
All the setup screen are missing so its all white but thats minor. Due to the initial errors alot of things don't run with invalid shortcuts and misc errors. Just to note I always flash a AT&T ROM before hand.
This new ROM is a clean slate ROM and the first batch of my own cooked kitchen set with utensils et al, merged, sorted and built from scratch. With a number of speed tweaks to further increase the speed of this ROM, I've also added some enhancements like Auto Date/Time Picker from Cell site, Unattended Installation upto 2nd Boot, Full support for XDAUC with a multitude of user customization options. I'll be working on more mods and enhancements with future builds.
I need to mention that that I was earlier using l3v5y's kitchen for all ROMs before version GT1G and has been an inspiration and guide for some time now. Of course the likes of Da_G will always be in our mentors list.
I would also like to extend my thanks to Makeveral (incredibly efficient BsB ROM and his useful apps), Mr Makk (awesome tutorials), Ervius (kitchen) and yozgatg (packages and Android Bootloader) for their extended work in XDA, and last but not least, all users of my ROM who have given me valuable inputs and feedback, needless to say without which I wouldn't have been able to get anywhere with my ROMs.

So folks, version K finally here after a long hiatus. K has some noticeable bug fixes, some minor new adds, apart from which it is pretty stable as always. Do note that there might still be some minor quirks (like some bottom icons not showing in the edit contact screen). Unfortunately I really haven't had the chance to look into them.
Amongst the noted fixes though, we have the scroll wheel working now, it skipped my earlier build for reasons unknown. The auto rotate which was never really in good books with me, works throughout the device now thanks to Zensor 2 which has been added as a UC option. There are other minor pieces which improves performance as well as an experimental game fix which I picked from the forum but haven't tested yet, which attempts to fix some of the games reported to not work. A revert on the OpenGL drivers should pay providence to some of the reported OpenGL apps not working too (although I haven't tested them either).
All in all this ROM should be a better ROM (not all that different though) than the previous ones. Let me know how it goes.

Battery seems to drain a little faster than in previous builds (feedback here would be appreciated)
Found the occassional crashing of poutlook while using a Gmail account
Sense 2.1 doesn't load after a soft reset (Workaround: Disable Sense from Home-Items, soft reset and then renable Sense after bootup)
Provider settings (gprs, mms etc) won't load. Seems like a broken package. I'll try and fix this in the next release

Workarounds:
Lock Screen issue:
Both of the above eventually do work, but its pretty annoying. Do note that Hard buttons for answer and ignore work as expected even if the screen is locked (during an incoming call). I tried playing around with previous build's lockscreens, editing some .cpr files, trying out tommy & mindfrost's fixes etc. (there are some more fixes available in the forum) and I've had some luck in getting this naggy issue somewhat fixed. At the moment I've used a combination of 2-3 methods to get it to partially work. It may not be 100% working, but there are some workarounds. Some of these are:
1) Volume Keys
While your screen is locked, use your volume up or down keys. The volume popup should show. Click the OK button. Your lock screen should be active now and you will be able to slide to unlock. After you have done so, lock your screen again, try and call back from your second phone. You should be able to slide to answer or ignore.
2) Bottom Left corner method: (suggested by fono)
This works almost instantaneously. While the screen is locked (and you wish to unlock it), click the bottom-left corner (not the extreme corner but just besides it), and then try sliding the unlock button (or answer/ignore buttons). It works instantaneously.
3) Password Lock:
This is simpler to do but not many of us prefer a password lock. Goto Settings-Lock, Check "Prompt if phone unused for" and enter a password. With this enabled, the sliders seems to work seamlessly for some reason.
4) Install Phone Canvas or Alternate Lock apps
a) Qilin Phone Canvas (download) OR any other
b) An alternate lock screen application (quite a few available in the forum)
I'll continue to look for a solid answer to this. Please feel free to advise me on the same if you find a solution.

This is a known bug and seems to trouble most of the com3 and com4 builds with Sense 2.1 OR 2.5 cooked into the ROMs.
Try this workaround (this most certainly works):
Deselect HTC Sense from Settings-Home-Items, hit OK
Soft-reset[/B]
Enable HTC Sense upon reboot
If any chef has a better workaround for this in the newer builds please do advise. I've tried playing with the pagepool (currently 10MB in this ROM) but to no avail.

Seems to be working fine so far. Also very quick! One little thing: My provider settings weren't downloaded automatically...

Noted. I included a rhodium mgr & db, which seems to be broken. I'll try and fix this in the next release. (added to bug list)

After restarting my Diamond, Sense couldn't be started again. Also after I did CleanRAM it was unable to start...
Yesterday I also had some memory warnings, even with only a few applications running.

Unfortunately Sense (both 2.1 & 2.5) has this persistent uncanny behavior on COM3 & 4 builds. It takes far too much of resource space on the program stack. I've used a few ROMs for diamond with similar issues and the only workaround seemed to be the disable-sreset-renable method. For sure there is a better workaround to get this playing smoothly on the newer builds. I'll keep reading up and play around by pulling down some memory hoggers. I'm working on a reloc method as well to free up some program memory on the base ROM, which should hopefully give us some more breathing space on the Diamond.
Personally, I've never been a real fan of Manila. Not because the UI ain't good, but generally because it doesn't seem like a very efficient code base. Things can only get better though and I'll keep trying to make the experience better.
Can you tell me more about the applications you installed on your Diamond post flashing? I know for a fact that most video dialers take over 5MB of program memory and that eats up the already hogged up Manila's stack.
No additional applications were installed.
After the phone froze up a couple of times today (different circumstances; Had to remove the battery to get the phone back to life), I've decided to remove your ROM...
When it ran, it was very fast and looked promissing, so keep up the good work!

Noted! Thanks for the feedback prinsclaus. I've noticed a couple of freezeup on the mail client (poutlook) which needed sresets, but the occurrence remained unfrequent. Can you confirm that you used mtty before flashing?

I must admit I haven't done that, so maybe that would have saved me a lot of trouble.

1) Lite (RaL.GT1)
2) Sense 2.1 ROM (23518Ral.x)
Both will be based on the recent 23518 build. I'll put them up sometime this week.
You should write the memory usage of your rom on the first page, my excuese if i didnt see it.

**Any Apps you want to install using TierAutoInstall place them on the ROOT of your SD Card before Flash.

How to Flash this ROM...Step 1. Enter Bootloader Mode by Holding down the Power Button, and Camera Button, then Press the Reset Button and plug your device into your PC.
Step 2. Run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe
Step 3. Follow The Steps and Wait
Step 4. Once you see the Screen that says "Tap the Screen ...", wait another 15 seconds or so! (Allowing for all the apps to load in the backround)
Step 5. Align Screen (Tip: Press lightly)
Step 6. Set Date and Time, Hit Next.
Step 7. The Phone Will now be loaded... Tap the Top Left Conner of the Screen and Select Tier Autoinstall
Step 8. Select your Cabs you want that are stored in your SD Card, and Hit Install.
Step 9. Device Will soft reset when done!
Step 10. Enjoy!

The screenshot is from Version 4.1 (noted), there was nothing of value to change the screenshot so I just left it the same. But thanks for pointing it out...
thanks lmiller for a nice ROM, been trying a couple of ROMs this weekend, only your ROM had all the stuff I want pre-installed, didn't have any necessity to install anything else, speed is good, everything works like it should... also liked your idea of keeping old manilla, the new one just didn't work right for me....

This version of M2D does not have weather on the home tab...
I didn't setup the Windows Default home, I will leave that up to the user.
Timing was great...
I was looking to flash something new as I have been having some issues with previous ROM (not yours) so I grabbed this and loaded it.
Everything seems to be working great actually, nice and fast. I am not using Manila though so no clue on how that works, but it started up OK and I checked all the tabs too.
I loaded a few Titanium panels, installed Marketplace, loaded EZINPUT (SPB keyboard - not my style), loaded Opera. With Verizon CAB Internet works, I made a call - so it all seems to be OK. Mega dialer was a nice surprise too (and no scroll bar!).
Overall - so far so good, great actually. I'll post if I run into something.
Oh yeah, one thing... that PPCKitchen branded background at soft reset needs to go but that could be just me.

You have the Mega dialer without the scrollbars on it? Which cab/package are you using? I've been going in circles trying to find a dialer that has no scroll bars on it.

couple of issues i ran into after testing ur ROM since sunday
1. on the regular dialer, if i want to ignore a ring, usually, i press the volume button and the vibrate is silenced ( i dont want to hit ignore softkey as that might feel rude to the caller, i just want it to go to voicemail after 5 rings), but in this dialer i am not able to silence the vibrate of my phone by going up/down on volume control..
2. is it possible to shorten the vibrate time for missed call/voicemail/sms when phone is in vibrate, it vibrates for like 30 sec or so...
is the new dialer a htc vogue dialer? the one thing i miss about the original htc vogue dialer is its ability to tell me which state the person is calling from( for USA folks).. is there a dialer which i can use which will get me that feature.. i dont mind if the dialer is bland or anything...
other than that, every other feature works perfect, smooth, nice and fast...
r u planning on creating any ROMs in the 21*** branch, i personally feel the new layout is for newer/bigger screen phones and half the buttons are truncated for my small little vogue...
does this work on bell?
