I am getting my g1 here soon so might not be around in dash forum much but i wanted to say thanks to everyone here for their awesome help and work. You guys have made my dash a handheld nuke lol.
lukybandit - 10live and mp3 trimmer are my 2 favorite apps for dash, much thanks for both!
Org/NRGZ28 - Weather app is second to none, reboot option sure beats turning on and off phone every time!! One of the best people on here who has helped me out alot, much thanks to you!
jdoggraz - One of the best peeps in this forum, stay cool!
Mikey1022 - Gave me help when most people wouldn't, if there was a mod of the year you would get my vote!!

You know I think I read an article about the G1 not having turn by turn voice directions for GPS. I understand there will be developed 3rd party apps but FYI. I'll look for the article.

General question
How to automatically lock all butons after certain time?
This is very usefull for my wife as she always throw the Excalibur to her big bag when she finishes a call, and sometimes with the movement it presses some buttons and even make calls!!!

there are a couple of pieces of software that will automatically do it. one is smart toolkit, the other escapes me but it's something like autolock or something like that.

If you're a SmartToolkit user there's an option on Control Panel to AutoKeyLock your Excalibur. It has some customizations also it's pretty cool. Check it out, I think that's what you're looking for

Here you go SmartToolkit-SP-RC08 does alot more than keylock, has an XP like start menu, can set up gadgets that are accesible easily and also hotkeys
And on another note..

I don't think you should post the XAP here. At least not without asking the devs for permission.

I already have. If they dont mind.. Well, if they are releasing it to anyone that wants, just sending an email, I think that there is no problem. Yet, I will wait their answers.

Well, it totally sucked on symbian, but it's cool on the iPhone and I guess it will be nice on WP7 too. And what price are you talking about ? It looks that it will be free, or I've missed something ? =P

Well, for iPhone there is a free and a pro version. Pro costs $9.99.
Lets hope there is a "Trial" version.

IM+ has 2 versions in iOS... IM+(free) and IM+ Pro. IM+ Pro is $9.99. So it might be way more in WP7 (may be 20 bucks ). And i think its not worth unless u reeealy need an IM app.
Hope we will get the free version too

Yeah I know there are 2 versions, I had an iPhone. Anyway I belive there will be free version for WP7 too.

Ah, I didn't know there were two versions on iOS. On the IM+ web site it only lists a trial version (which I assume has some limitations), and the $9.99 version.
If there is a free version available on WP7, I'll check it out.
As for what it might cost for the paid version, just look at the WM6 version ($20), and the Blackberry version ($40 ).

Beautiful, but doesn't stay running in the background if you're in the program and hit the windows button even with all the options turned on... You only get toast notifications if you're in the program. I was really hoping this would run in the background. I had the same problem with Flory, every time you go back into the app by hitting the live tile it reloads the whole app and has to reconnect.
Anyone else have this problem?

[Q] (Request) Putting numbers on a watchface.

Hi I dont suppose anyone would be happy to help me finish a project i have?
Im having trouble making the missing numbers (the picture will show what i mean) for a watchface I am making.
The watch will be in the style of my cars rev counter (Renault clio 200) which is shown here

The plan from there is to have the temp gauge as a battery meter and where the x1000 is I will put the date.
Once complete i will share with the community and another watch which i am finishing up which is shown here

What did you use for it? ive been trying photoshop but the edges are nowhere near as sharp as yours

I actually use paint.net (http://www.getpaint.net/). It has many nice features, pretty easy to learn, and best of all is free. I really take advantage of the layers tool and then always make sure to save a copy in their format (.pdn). Then when I'm satisfied with what I have, I copy each layer into a new image, flatten it, and save the png file.
It's nice having those separate layers. It made switching out the numbers for the bigger ones really quick.
