Hi for my life, i am tryin to download the spanish rom for the magician (JAM) but i dont know how to download the files. can anyone tell me?
do i need special permission to access ftp or simply a direct link. I really need to change the rom to spanish but dont know how. can anyone please help me???

its done. yes there is a rom for the jam that i dloaded form imateclub and i found a handy guide that walked me through and told me which specific files to use from XDA FTP. Im grateful

using it for nearly a day now, i can only say: i am amazed!
not that i dont appreciate all the stuff from our amazing cooks!!!! , but this rom is by far simply the best working!!!!!!!
fast and responsive throu all i do with it! no little "aw, this aint workings"
all i am missing, i simply customize via cabs from the collections.
just on the side: feels to me "loading the battery" is more "solid" here - takes a little longer, but in combination with an originally implemented radio rom....this makes me think....works better than all the "draining roms".

Friend, I think that screenshot with memory is nessecary, post please. I mean screen of control panel aplet with memory: all, used, free. Best way - get this screen directly after Hard rest.

Sorry for the delayed reply.There were small bugs like camera not starting and threaded SMS, now are solved completely.ROM results are excellent, I am trying new LCD driver and sound files, and I will post a link for download.pls watch this space I shd do it by this Sunday

I have a question that doesn't belong to this thread but please reply - this seems to be the highest concetration of p550 users so far that I have seen.
The question is - do any of You have problems with in-call volume adjustment not working? And also, if You reply - do You have ASUS P550 or the Vodafone branded v1520?
I have the problem with in-call volume slider not working and so far I haven't found any solution
Please help to specify the problem. I think that if original ASUS doesn't have this problem, then it must be Vodafone's extended CABs that are causing the problem. Also it might be the Wizard reTOUCHed Dialer2 which I have installed, but I don't know yet as I haven't had time to hard-reset and configure the device again.

Hi, Im new here and I need your help guys!
I bought one Asus P550 at Ukraine and it have WM in Russian language. How I can update/install/change it to English?
Also, my camera sometimes dont work, only with hard reset it starts to work but after sometime stop again.

In that case, you'll only have an original ROM..
You wont be able to use any other cooked ROM with Hebrew.
It would be nice if someone could get orange's CAB for installing Hebrew, that would be great.
Instead I think you should consider buying hebrew addon by PDAC which costs about 250nis.
I'm currently using English only but also considering buying.

once you dump the rom, you should extract the cabs from extended, and use the cabs that came with your device on other roms to have hebrew support.
you must use the cabs that came with your device!

If you look on the table it's reported as orange_il rom with heb support.

Hmmm.... I installed it and it seems just like regular ME rom. No hebrew and no shoes ^^
I have parsed this ROM by Kitchen tools and also didn't find any footprints of Hebrew or Orange IL

Hi,
I do have the dumped rom. however, i am travelling this week and will be able to upload it only next week if you need it.
FYI. It is a MUST to dump the ROM of your own device (if you have the Orange ROM) and than extract the Cabs for the Hebrew from it. These cabs are signed for a specific IMEI, so you will not be able to run them on a different device.
I can send you the Hebrew cabs to try them on your own risk, but from my testing, it will not work.
Once you dump the Rom and cabs, you will be able to upgradethe Rom and still use the cabs for installing the Hebrew. This is assuming that you had the Original Orange Rom on your device.

I think you are more expirienced with WM ROMs, please post here links to relevant threads about cabs signing/unsigning.
Cabs (EYRON.cab and MUI.cab from OrangeIL device ...) are working exellent on my not Orange-IL device (but not on all custom firmwares) ... so i have Hebrew ...
and yes ROM from WikI(i have it on my Diamond now) dont have cabs... i think it's not Orange-IL rom ... its nothing more than 1.93.456.2.WWE ENG

So its my first post ever on this forum but i come almost evryday to see updates and roms.
So i have a HTC Vogue from bell mobility and i try a lot of time to put it in french. i try to use french rom from cruise, elf, elvin etc and i change all the lang (0409 to 040C wich is french langs files) files and registery key and i never get it to work (Stuck on bootscreen) ... so i woder if one of u guys can hel me out with all this... or if someone know a french rom for the htc vogue even only the SYS files and langs

All that you need to do is substitute the lang files from a french build ROM. On an English build the language code is (0409). Give me a link to a french ROM that runs WM6.1, and I will try gathering all the language files from it.

this is from Korea, HTC Touch Dual. This one looks almost same as Vogue, but it has key pad like a slide phone.

No, you can't flash the Vogue with a Touch Dual ROM. Also this is the wrong section to be asking this.
