Changing Language (norwegian)

Hi! Yesterday i bought my first HTC Touch Diamond P3700. I have never used any HTC cell phone. My problem. I live in Norway and this phone is in norwegian, but i want it to change to english. If I checked the ROM update, then it gives me only norwegian version. I'm thankful then somebody help me a little.

You have to update the rom to a WWE (world wide english) ROM. But you can change the language of the Manilla.

Thank you for answering. Can You tell me little more about it, what can i use or add any useful links. Because if i add my serial number to htc.com support, it gives me automatically norwegian version.

I read some threads, and the latest WEE official version was corrupt or somthing.
There are some Official Roms you can flash, though, i dont know if they are fast or not. I'm a Raphael user (Touch Pro). but read in the Diamond Rom development for good rooms.

If your are willing to "brake the warrenty" you could allways flash a coustom rom. And flash back to a origianal rom if you are sending it to service for a hw problem.

Need french rom for i780

Hi,
I'm looking for a french rom PDA+PHONE+BOOT for my i780, because I tried to upgrade but only english rom are available and I had many other problems so I would like to reinstall a stable rom.
I would prefer without brand like BOUYGUESTELECOM, SFR or ORANGE.
Maybe someone could cook a french rom with wm6.1.

I'm very interesting in too. I've an Orange I780 and I'd like to flash the actual ROM to an official Samsung Fench ROM (With Azerty layout but without Orange softwares and icons)

My question is as follows: I bought an Excalibur SIM unlocked (free for any carrier) from ebay and it comes with WM6.1 installed with chinese/english interface. I would like to install the oficiall spanish wm6 rom from HTC...Can I do that just with the rom loader and then install the oficial spanish rom or I need to do something more to avoid errors? I assume since my excalibur is brand new and has a non-oficial rom installed that it is unlocked already.

Ok, thank you so much for your information, but not sure, that`s procedure will be succesful no matter what rom`s language are you loading?? ( I mean my present rom is chinese/english and I want to load a spanish one)

I wonder if there is any rom that exists in Portuguese language and Portuguese-language keyboard as well.

Modaco's rom contains most (all?) languages, just install MoreLocale to select one. It's available on the market.

There isn't a link to languages pack, so i think for now it's only in wwe (english)

Doesn't all WWE Roms include Italian?
At least all Roms I ever had tested which are WWE support a big variety of languages, including Italian

No. WWE stands for world-wide-english. Support to other languages is mentioned by the ROM developer on the ROM thread. For this rom, the features clearly say "Languages wwe". So no other languages are supported.

Maybe you find a language pack by searching thread/google. But if not, the answer is yes.
