Caller Id on Qtek 9090 : how to sync with outlook 2003

Hi,
I have a Qtek 9090 and I checked the Caller Id app bundled in the package. I miss one thing : I'd like to be able to define the picture associated to the contacts in Outlook 2003 and get it used by my Qtek...
Is this possible? If yes, how?
Thanks.
No such luck.
It's got to do with the way Activesync works at the moment. Even if Pocket Outlook DID support pictures (which it doesn't), Activesync 3.7x doesn't syncrohonise any additional contact fields (which is essentially what the pictures are - an additional field).
You will have to add these pictures manually at the moment. And woe if your machine needs to be hard-reset for some reason. You'll have to do it all over again! (Unless you use some fantastic backup program).
Activesync 4.0, where are you? Will you fix these annoying issues??

One-click/button bluetooth sync ?

Hi,
I'm currently syncing my device over bluetooth, to do so, I need to open Activesync, go to 'menu' and select 'connect via bluetooth'.
Is there a way to configure a shortcut that can be assign to a button that will start/stop the bluetooth sync without the cumbersome way above ?
* I found a solution for WM5 but it didn't seem to be applicable for WM6.
Thanks,
Roy

Transferring phone book to remote Sim Access Profile Bluetooth car kit

I have a Volkswagen Touareg with a bluetooth phone prep, which is a remote Sim Access Profile type and possibly made by Nokia, the manual mentions Nokia HT-2, which I am trying to connect my HTC TyTN too. I have recently ugraded to the WM 6 ROM from the HTC website, works brilliantly, and am using the SAP Manager tool included to make the connection, which is fine.
But I cannot copy my phone book, which happens to be my ActiveSync contacts from an outlook exchange server. I have installed the Jetware Mobile app, discussed in a similar thread here, but no joy. Does anyone have any ideas please? Is there a widget I could install or some modification I could make that would achieve it, as it is a ball ache to manually dial every number I need from the steering wheel when it is just in the phonebook. Many thanks.
use gmail account

WM6 + MMS settings?

I have a Dopod 838Pro and I have used a played with a number of different ROMS and have stuck with Schap's WM6 and am currently running:
Schap's 4.31
Radio: 1.54.30.10
The problem. For some reason which I can't tie down, the MMS settings continue to return to the default vpix.com/servlets..... settings. Being that I don't send or receive alot of MMS it's not a huge problem, but it's got me buggered why it does this.
I sync between two PC's, one XP with Active Sync 4.5.0 (which then uses Groupwise PDA connect to sync with Groupwise) then at home I have Vista with it's Mobile Centre syncing up with Outlook 2007.
For no good reason every now and again the Vista Machine decides it doesn't know about about the PDA anymore and decides it's a new device. Being that this is random, by the time I notice the PDA has lost all contacts and calendar. I'm not sure if this is before or after I put it into the dock, but I can confirm that it is before I confirm anything on the PC.
I know that if you delete a "profile" thing on the PDA it will loose all information associated (including the calendar and contacts etc), but I'm not doing that.
Again the rare use of MMS means I can't pin down the MMS settings change to the PDA loosing sync. The other strange thing is that if I change the settings in the "Default" MMS server settings, when they revert back to the vpix settings, I am sort of screwed, but if I create an "Optus" profile then set that as default, when the vpix thing happens it simply re-selects the default profile, the upside being I can just re-select the Optus one and away I go.
So does anyone understand my ramblings or has anyone had a similar problem? Is it Vista? Is it the ROM? Is it a dodgy piece of hardware? Any ideas are welcome.

How do I stop ActiveSync's autosync?

Hi TP2-ers!
Since using my TP2, ActiveSync continuously syncs it with my PC. When I used AS with my old PDA (QTEK 2020i) I could select manual sync, but this doesn't seem to be possible when connecting a WM6 device.
I tried all the tricks (changing registry entries Continuously Update and Update on docking to 0), the exchange server trick to enable the AS schedule button and setting it to manually, all to no avail...
I know of tools like ActiveSync Toggle, but I do not want to disable AS, I just want to sync manually when I think it's time to sync!
Has anybody out there been able to disable the autosync in AS in combination with the TP2?
Thank you very much for your reply in advance!
Kind regards,
Piet
