I upgraded to 1.93 also...
A new problem that I have is in the contacts tab - when I want to add a new favorite, if that contact has more than one number or details.
it shows me error msg. with Manila.exe.
Anyone else has this problem ?
Anyone knows what to do ?
another things :
1. Wake up on new sms ?
2. screen off - after recieving a call ?
3. loading app. time ( new sms ) a bit laggy ?
4. Pulling staylus - has no effect ( yes it is marked to do it in the options ).
5. how can I check if the 850 band was added ?

im in latest nightly i couldn't add a contact when i am send a message ,i means when u input message number u can't choose a contact and add it.
anybody know how to fix it????

There really isn't a way to fix this, however, you can tap on the contact picture icon in messaging, and there should be an option to add the number to your contacts. Hope this helps!
theoretically it can't affect adding contacts to your sms, but it is worth a try: in settings/language&keyboard/android keyboard tick 'show suggestions'. if it doesn't work, wipe cache, or worst case scenario, wipe data or reinstall cm7!

I recomend the new CM7 updated today, it has many major improvements , in fact is the RC0 (release Candidate 0) launched a few hours ago, and you can download from the nighlys repository in the following link:

I have a little problems as title
I have just installed RunnymedeAIO V6.0.4.2 instead of V6.5
However, I found the contact picture can work in 6.5 but it cannot work again in 6.0.4.2 (THe problem present in 6.0.4 also, and solved in 6.5 )
Is there something I can do with it?
Or wait for a new version is the best way for a new user as I am

1 - sms only 70 char only over 70 converted to MMS , and i don't have MMS service
2- need to change dialpad
3- need to remove faceHD in status bar
4- i don't have 3G,4G service and it's drain battery (i changed GSM only 5457 # * 6200 # ,but when reboot still 3G)
Done .
any help ?

Hi,
1. Did you try any 3rd-party app for sms? (Handcent, goSMS)
2. Can't help you with that, but will check it out. In the chinese ROM's i posted it is already fixed.
3. Same here, the chinese ROM's already got rid of this.
4. Had the same problem on stock, after Reboot still on 3G and draining battery.
I guess the solution for the last 3 of your problems is probably to flash one of the chinese ROM's.

1) Favorites contacts tab is missing.
2) Stock browser without history and bookmarks.
This issues are a "feature" of the new version or it is a bug?

just downgrade back via odin. BUT why not you try Pyramid/GENNXT rom if you need dual sim, its more feature filled. If you dont use dual sim, use one of the kitkat rom available
Actually I want to know if there is another way besides downgrading because there are improvements like:
1) Longer battery life.
2) Better keyboard.
3) now I can lock high speed network, before y just could lock to 2G speed.
Maybe someone knows some command that can be written in the address bar or some hidden setting to turn favorites contacts on.
It also can be that there is another way to achieve the same goal.
I also noticed that merge contacts is also missing but you can merge contacts selecting from dropdown list while modifying the contact's name.

I realized later that the phone was set to simple desktop automatically in the upgrade, that was the reason the favorites tab was missing.
In the browser now you have to press the left or right borders to have access to the commands.

Hi everybody i have some issues with whatsapp on my new Nokia Xl and i wanted to know if someone have the solution.
So few weeks ago i has installed whatsapp on my XL its says me that my device is not supported to i installed Whatsapp plus then its worked but i dont know how.
So few days ago i did a factory restore on my XL and all my apps and data has been deleted included whatsapp plus.
Now i want to recover my whatsapp but i tryied all the tricks that i finded on the net but no one worked :
- When i put a old date whatsapp says me that i should change my date
- When i directly instal whatsapp by an apk its says me that my device is not supported
- When i instal whatsapp and remove it and then instal whatsapp plus i got a Sms confirmation screen but it is not working its says me SMS confirmation Failed
I dont really know what i should do i really need whatsapp or whatsapp plus

If you have rooted your phone, install Root Explorer and edit build.prop in /system. Change ro.build.manufacture from Nokia to Baidu and original whatsapp will work fine.

I already seen this solution but i dont really want to root my XL this is why im searching an other solution.
First, remove clean master app, if you use it.
Download 2.11.205 version of Whatsapp and install it but do not open.
Then change date to: May 26 2014
Now create whatsapp widget (This is the only way u can access whatsapp)
Open whatsapp from widget and verify. Then chat with some friends.
After al these steps, now u can remove original whatapp and install whatsapp+'s last version.
When u do all these steps, whatsapp+ will not ask u for verifyng.

Thanks for all ur reply i found myself the solution but before did it i restored my XL :
First i clompletly removed all Whatsapp Data from my mobile ( delete Whatsapp folder )
Then i changed my date into Date Settings to 9 June 2014.
Then i download an old WhatsApp Version who was the WhatsApp Messenger v2.11.238.apk ( search it on google soory i cant put the link here i had a restriction for new members ><)
Then i instaled this Whatsapp, after the instalation i launched it then i done the SMS confirmation after the Sms confirmation my XL says me that "Whatsapp is not supported".
So i only uninstaled WhatsApp but i didnt touch to the Whatsapp folder ( it should not be removed ! ). I change my Date to today's real date.
Then i download the latest version of WhatsApp Plus (it was 6.10 when i did it but i think u can try the latest)
I instaled it and all was done
Im still using WhatsApp plus with no problems, thanks again for all the replies i post my solution if other people search it, im soory for my bad english i'm just a french college student
