HTC tytn and Black 2.0 keyboard light problem

I just upgraded to Windows Mobile VI - Black Edition 2.0 and since then there is no light on the keyboard whatever I do.
Is there any way to fix this ?
It is really annoying, and I really want to keep the Rom (it is great).
Please help

UPDATE
It is now working but only when I press some key.
Is it possible to set it up so that it starts when ever i open the keyboard like it used to on wm5 ?

the keyboard lights up when the sensor detects low light. The other mode which if you disabled this function, doesn't light up. The sensor is at the right hand uppermost corner.

anyway, I had a similar problem...and of the two settings 'power' and 'backlight'...you need to play with combos that leave the keyboard lights on pullout...but don't let the device come on and stay on.
I forget but I have 3 of the 4 options on and one off that does the trick.

i wouldn't flame the guy who helped create the rom you are questioning about. notice at top of forum it says read before posting...try it, it works

Sorry, I don't care if he created every rom known to man, I just have this thing with offensive rudeness...it doesn't give him liscence to **** on other people no matter how porly they misread forum decorum.
There's other equally effective ways to get what one wants.

Anybody succesfully connected Pocket Controller after installing W IV Black 2.0?
I cannot adn I really miss the ease of controlling my TYTN from the desktop PC!
Now I can do Or synchronization Or Pocket Controller!!
Any thoughts?

After all these posting, I am slowing down flashing on these new ROMs. Great works, but.... I under why people are angry for stupid things....
Just thinking... Don't we all asking questions??
I bet those who think they are so smart talking to MS programmer, and I bet you they probably doing the same to them... I like for those who uses "stupid" language to think, you are noob once that asking same type of questions.
While you still at school, and you asking dumb question to you teacher. Do you think your teacher has the "rights" to call you "dumb f**k"??

Flash to a new ROM is good, but you have to know what is important to you. If the Pcoket Controller is a must for you, then use the ROM that will works.
Or Google around, you might be surprise.

I guess you don't have kids who ask the same question many times a day and every day of the week for months - it becomes irritating. You're right, a teacher doesn't have the right to swear at a child but this is an open forum, most of the users are adults.
Even it's title 'XDA DEVELOPERS' implies a certain amount of pre-knowledge and an ability to undertake original research.
So, if you ask a stupid question which has been answered before, you don't look for your own answers first, and cry when being told you're a ****wit I suggest you start up an 'XDA politically correct, non abuse, group therapy n hugs' site.

Where to download 6.1?

I've been searching this forum, googling, etc and I cannot find anywhere to download the update to 6.1 for my T-Mobile Dash. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
BTW, I did try the link from the "WM6.1 For Excalibur WWE..." post on this forum, but the link did not work for me...

I would love to see WP7 ported over to the EVO just to say "Hey is possible" but I don't think I would waste such a powerful device like the EVO on such a crappy OS. I mean don't get me wrong, there are some things that are cool about WP7 but is not enough for anyone to ditch Android and use WP7 as their primary OS. If you want to use WP7 then either buy a WP7 phone or go and buy an HD2. I have an HD2 as well as my EVO and I can tell you that the HD2 is great for the fact that it runs so many OS but with that being said, is not even close to the performance of the EVO.

DUDE, don't give people the whole is illegal thing. If that's illegal then I'm pretty sure that if you wanted to start breaking things down as far as what is legal and what's not....alot of what's done on here would be illegal. Things like flashing phones to different carriers and stuff like that.
The HTC HD2 can be flashed to WP7 and Android.....is that illegal? If so, then you better inform XDA that they need to shut their doors because they have a bunch of illegal activity going on within their site.......I hate people like you...I really do!

If it was done, it would never be put on this site. Microsoft goes after this stuff pretty hard. You have to have a license to run wp7. So could it be done? Sure, but not here.

So you are aware of legality issues of it running on a WinMo6.5 phone but for some reason you think that all that gets circumvented when it gets ported to an Android device?

I put that i have an otterbox case so if someone had a question about it they can ask me. Because I try to be helpful. In fact most of my time spent here is helping or at least trying to help other people. 90% of my posts are answering other people's questions. I spend a LOT of time on this site, and see tons of casual posters come in and clutter this forum up and it makes it harder for everybody else to find the answers they are looking for when they have to sift through bull**** thread after bull**** thread. But you're right, I could have been nicer about it but I'm tired and have a headache and don't really feel like being nice right now. And I have no manners.

Wow, you really shouldn't make fun of people for grammar or spelling. English might not be their first language.
Unfortunately there are people out there that are so miserable and desperate in their own lives that they enjoy negative attention. After reading a few of his posts it would appear that his XDA posts are the most complex and meaningful conversations he has in the day. It would appear that the number of responses, good or bad, is how he measures his self worth. Hopefully he can mature and grow as a person. Hopefully he can find it much more rewarding to justify his existence with the number of people he helps, rather than the number he annoys.
