Now about Beam:
Beam now works as it should!! You can enable/disable beam either in Comm Manager or Settings->Connections->Beam. So you don’t have to worry about enabling/disabling in both places.
Tweaks:
For users that don't like threaded messages / turn on SMS notifications (turned on by default in my ROM), go here (Thanks to iamwhoiam), or here.
For those of you that don't like the battery icon, but also don't want to have the time or date display on the title bar, you can have another icon. An analog clock. Download "FInixNOver Title Bar Analog Clock Tweak.cab". Don't forget to soft reset afterwards.

How about OS build Shouldn't that be enough reason for you?
More speed and stability, some changes in media dlls, amongst other things.

One question - how much free RAM is there in the full version compared to the LIGHT version for installing programs??

Thanks for fast answer, i notice the new os build, but i forgot to wrote this in my post More speed? I thought that was impossible, your previous version is very fast
I had one question, could i use backup from SPB Backup, when i do this on 3.2 version?

What about A2DP? I think you planed to make a rom with good A2DP: not skipping sound and not slowing down too much.

You must not restore full backups (that include system files) from previous roms, bc it can cause somethings so stop working properly.

About that, I haven't been able to fix it. I still need to try with new XIP part, but I decided to stick with the XIP part that solves most problems for most users. Because I don't know many people that will use TOMTOM while listening to music on the device...

I actually love your roms, they're very fast and stable. But still there's something that's keeping me from using them and it's that HTC home won't show the media tab, and that's my favourite, and also you should think about including audio manager instead of just windows media player, audio manager's playlist system is more useful.

Now you can use media tab in HTC Home. It's just not enabled by default.
To enable it go to Start->Settings->Today
Disable home plugin
In HTC Home tab check Music
Enable home plugin

You mean the Voice Mail?
That feature is not working on our device (as far as I know it's a device limitation, not my ROM)
If someone has it working, please advise.

I can understand that it's not te priority.
But I don't think it's a question of XIP. On the pdaviet rom which had solved this issue, I tested several version of this pdaviet rom and all of them had diffrent build number and the A2DP was ok on all of them.(19719, 19209, 19701, 19213)
Hope it can help to find the solution.

is that 22.57mb program memory from a fresh boot up? is this normal for wm6.1 roms? on my shamanix wm6, i get around 26mb from a fresh boot.

Does seem low for a lite bootup...I'm getting currently regular 28 mb with dvh 19900 (which was the case with prior wm6.1 lites).

I installed this ROM 5 hours ago and have been able to get everything working pretty well, except experienced one strange thing.
I used to press the Phone End key to minimize all apps and get to the Today screen, but now for some reason once I press the End key, it beeps and disconnects my data. I could have swore that I read this somewhere recently, but now I can't figure out how to re-configure the End key for normal operation.

Data disconnect is the normal operation for a long press, and a short press should go back to the today screen as you describe above.

Yeah, that's what I was reading, but the data disconnect is happening on a short press. Is there a registry hack to correct this.

So it "really" doesnt do anything over whats standard in a WM6x build

Hi there this is caused because you have selected enable disconnect grps button in advanced config. If you disable that button the problem should go away in my experience. Cheers!

After installing all my software I have less than 30mb program left. The ROM is fast but there still too much loaded on this ROM to be called lite..
Another problem I have is the HTC Home you have included does not allow for removing the tabs in the today settings. I can't even install the version I usually use. While this is close it really needs to have more removed so we can put our own software in..
If this ROM just had whats below it would definitly be lite

Making the ROM in 3 colors has become too much work for me. So this thread also has a poll to see which color will be chosen for my ROMs from now on. For now I'll post only the Black version. It will last 5 days. After the poll ends, I'll post also the winning color (if it's not Black).
I'll be releasing an Ultra light ROM, and as you can all imagine it would be even more work for me to make it in 3 colors.

Vijay today toggle works properly in this build (it had the problem also, but I was able to solve it).
To select multiple SMS in messaging, go to "menu->select messages" and choose the option you need (it's like the selection in contacts).

I have two questions:
1)Can we use the theme you released in 3.4 thread to change from black to gray and green?
2)Can we install the multiple selection patch to be able to select multiple SMS like in the old way?

For both questions the answer is yes. For the first you just need to know what you're doing, other than that it should work.

Dear FInixNOver,
Thank you for all your hard work. I have been using the ROM for an hour, one quick observation is related to memory. immediately after boot it is around 21mb, where as with 3.5 it was around 25. after a few minutes it drops to 18.5 and it seems to be stable around there. Is that the same behaviour you expect? Or maybe I have a bad flash?

Memory
Finix light black 3.6 has 24.4 MB free after first boot (and customization). Finix light black 3.5 has 27.3 MB free under same conditions. List of processes memory consumption show no viable difference between two versions. So , a bit weird.
Otherwise - great rom !!

Thanks finix&over..your roms are superb..however..i dislike the black colour prefer the grey one..from my point of view, the black it is just.. tooo black..not good for my eyes

I went back to my default performance values, since there was some people complaining that build 3.5, was rather sluggish. If you want to change that, use something like sktools or schaps advanced config.

- cache problem, causing the rom to take enormous amounts of time opening specific folders ( mostly depending on software installed later on, sometimes straight form the beginning though, i.e. unreproducable, but existing)!
- battery drain due to wifi and camera misconfigurations ( see orig. thread undrv.cab)
- various software incompatibilities, e.g. msreader, device lock...
- music switches off when display is switched off
- activesync cut-offs
- unknown callers not handled correctly

you have to unlock your device using the USPL

I'm thinking of trying this one, because my own modification of YuE10 with Manila was pretty smooth, and this should work even better.
On the other hand, I now have the pdaviet rom with Manila which runs good also. My hands are aching to try, but I don't like to customize all the programs again..... maybe I'll make a backup first, so customisation of the pdaviet rom should be piece of cake if I want to go back......

Hmmm I might try this.
I tried the pdaviet manila 2D and didn't like it because it didn't feel as quick as YuE. Also, it recognized my provider (T-Mobile NL) as "PROXIMUS", quite annoying.
Is there an easy way to overclock with Manila 2D? Because battery status only works as a today plugin. I tried XCPUScaler but it's kinda bulky.

Any network wizard ?

Lite M2D is very fast..on the boot have 22.70MB of ram.NET Cf 3.5 integrated.
But:
No Live services
No Network wizard
No Youtube
No Google maps
No Large Start Menu

Please define "regular" Diamond.

This rom is for CDMA Diamond, I own a GSM Diamond, that is what I ment by "regular" .

Diamond ROM update problem
Dear friends,
I have a device named "HTC Touch Diamond". First, I installed the “Glossman v1.1 ROM“ to my DIAMOND. The device get started itself again after installation had campleted. In the meantime, device must be intalled the programs recorded in ROM but, device frozen in initial display screen. Now, There is Touch Dimond writing in the frozen screen and device is so stand stable. I wonder If, Can’t I use my device. What can I do for this problem. Please Can you help me.

Do you have an CDMA Diamond or a GSM Diamond? This ROM is for CDMA only.
