This ROM was built using Calkulin's 3.6 Kitchen (CE OS 5.2.20940/20931) and was designed for all Sprint Diamonds. This has only been tested on a Sprint Diamond, so I cannot comment on how/if it will run on any other Diamond. Again, you flash at your own risk.
This ROM features many of the items a user would need for max connectivity and speed. It's stripped of all games, and other apps that I felt would not benefir the power user. it does include a pair of media players, since WMP basically sucks.
I have created an integrated BLUE theme that is useful and (in my opinion), easy to view.

Please define "regular" Diamond.
This rom is for CDMA Diamond, I own a GSM Diamond, that is what I ment by "regular" .
Diamond ROM update problem
Dear friends,
I have a device named "HTC Touch Diamond". First, I installed the “Glossman v1.1 ROM“ to my DIAMOND. The device get started itself again after installation had campleted. In the meantime, device must be intalled the programs recorded in ROM but, device frozen in initial display screen. Now, There is Touch Dimond writing in the frozen screen and device is so stand stable. I wonder If, Can’t I use my device. What can I do for this problem. Please Can you help me.
Do you have an CDMA Diamond or a GSM Diamond? This ROM is for CDMA only.

Now about Beam:
Beam now works as it should!! You can enable/disable beam either in Comm Manager or Settings->Connections->Beam. So you don’t have to worry about enabling/disabling in both places.
Tweaks:
For users that don't like threaded messages / turn on SMS notifications (turned on by default in my ROM), go here (Thanks to iamwhoiam), or here.
For those of you that don't like the battery icon, but also don't want to have the time or date display on the title bar, you can have another icon. An analog clock. Download "FInixNOver Title Bar Analog Clock Tweak.cab". Don't forget to soft reset afterwards.

How about OS build Shouldn't that be enough reason for you?
More speed and stability, some changes in media dlls, amongst other things.
One question - how much free RAM is there in the full version compared to the LIGHT version for installing programs??

You must not restore full backups (that include system files) from previous roms, bc it can cause somethings so stop working properly.

About that, I haven't been able to fix it. I still need to try with new XIP part, but I decided to stick with the XIP part that solves most problems for most users. Because I don't know many people that will use TOMTOM while listening to music on the device...
I actually love your roms, they're very fast and stable. But still there's something that's keeping me from using them and it's that HTC home won't show the media tab, and that's my favourite, and also you should think about including audio manager instead of just windows media player, audio manager's playlist system is more useful.

Now you can use media tab in HTC Home. It's just not enabled by default.
To enable it go to Start->Settings->Today
Disable home plugin
In HTC Home tab check Music
Enable home plugin

That feature is not working on our device (as far as I know it's a device limitation, not my ROM)
If someone has it working, please advise.

I can understand that it's not te priority.
But I don't think it's a question of XIP. On the pdaviet rom which had solved this issue, I tested several version of this pdaviet rom and all of them had diffrent build number and the A2DP was ok on all of them.(19719, 19209, 19701, 19213)
Hope it can help to find the solution.

you have to unlock your device using the USPL

- do it by SD card flashing

because all roms less than 50MB in size can only be flashed from sd card ( in addition you can flash any rom that way, as long as you name it ARTEIMG.nbh )

I'm thinking of trying this one, because my own modification of YuE10 with Manila was pretty smooth, and this should work even better.
On the other hand, I now have the pdaviet rom with Manila which runs good also. My hands are aching to try, but I don't like to customize all the programs again..... maybe I'll make a backup first, so customisation of the pdaviet rom should be piece of cake if I want to go back......

Hmmm I might try this.
I tried the pdaviet manila 2D and didn't like it because it didn't feel as quick as YuE. Also, it recognized my provider (T-Mobile NL) as "PROXIMUS", quite annoying.
Is there an easy way to overclock with Manila 2D? Because battery status only works as a today plugin. I tried XCPUScaler but it's kinda bulky.
Any network wizard ?

Lite M2D is very fast..on the boot have 22.70MB of ram.NET Cf 3.5 integrated.

No Network wizard
No Youtube
No Google maps
No Large Start Menu

Similar to what kareem9nba did for the Raphael, Hermes and Kaiser (and I did for prophet users) I'm opening up a service to let you request ROMs with the apps/tweaks you want, without the crap you don't want!
The ROMs will (for now) be based on the 2.03 shipped ROM, but I may start using a newer XIP/SYS when I get a decent, stable one - yes, that means no WM6.5 custom ROMs yet, sorry but I don't have the time to port everything yet!
What I can do:
Programs/Games:
Thousands of these. - I'll add paid apps, but you have to supply the registration details, or add them during the first run.
Version:
You want a clean ROM? say so, and I'll strip the rubbish. Want the sample images left in? again, say so and I'll leave them.
Other:
Whatever else you'd like. Can be tweaks, changes to the OS or whatever. I can also include your chosen radio OS, or splashscreen if wanted.
Preferred Upload Host:
I'll upload it wherever you want, and drop you a PM when it's done.
I'll probably have the apps you want already. If not, I may need a cab file to add what you want.

Lol, you didn't steal it. The more we could expand on it, the better I just recently got a Universal so i'm thinking of opening it there (cooking is quite different there so still have to get used to it :S).

This may take a bit of time as duttys ROMs are rather well protected.
I should be able to get everything going though.

That shouldn't be too difficult, bar the fact the the sprint Diamond is CDMA, so I won't be able to test it directly to make sure it all works. I can probably test all the parts on my GSM Diamond, but I may need to get you to test things once or twice.

Again, that shouldn't be to hard. One thing though, what kind of battery icon? One that replaces the little 4 bar one in the title bar, or one that provides the bar across the top of the screen?

Can I get a rom based on the latest leaked sprint rom wwe 2.00.651.1 and give the latest but best radio with the whole diamond2 tf3d tricked and tweaked out on low memory can I get that?
As stable and fast as you can get it
not so much a rom, but mainly just a cab to install the '3' tab into the tf3d from the pro (or whatever one they are using) if it's possible?
What about another of your own great roms but put all cabs for apps you usually include into a folder so that we may install what we like. Do the same for tf3d, tweaks etc. I mean in a folder within the ROM itself.

lol, my roms dont crap out at all on the phone....I use the Vogue dialer to make sure everything is 100% compatible
This Man is very talented and professional with his Roms. Never ask a dumb question about his roms "crapping out". He has most likely been around the vogue forums longer than you. Whosdaman deserves more respect than that. I will be downloading, will report any issues.
get a grip, the issue isn't with his rom, it's with using the GSM dialer on a CDMA phone, lots of vogue people had this issue when using the Mega dialer

i dont use the mega dialer, i would never put anyones life at risk like that, vogue's dialer is the best to use with the vogue because it has no flaws
CMDA's diamond dialer doesnt even work with codes.....so no it's not just GSM
Also 2nd test rom will be up shortly

Mega's doesnt include it so how do you think I should reprogram the usbtopcpopup.exe to include it....i dont write programs and i dont feel like going to jail
