Step by step guide using the official O2 DSUU
1. Install the O2 XDA Stealth Upgrade Tool on my computer.
2. Navigate to the DSUU folder.
3. Rename the WM6*.nb0 file to "gbcall.nb0" (If there is not WM6*.nb0.just keep the gbcall.nb0),change it to "read-only" and copy to the DSUU folder.
4. Start the DSUU update which will take about 5-10 Minutes.
5. Then your device will auto reset.
• The device doesn't boot, I see only O2 logo. Hard reset doesn't help and the Firmware update process stops with the first message?
1. turn off the device;
2. enter engeneering mode;
3. in Main menu choose Boot Config;
4. in Configuration menu choose EBOOT-Launch Image;
5. turn off the device;
6. now hard reset or upgrade firmware.
Sometimes helps another method: leave the device without the battery for about 30 minutes, then turn your O2 XDA Stealth on.
• How to enter engeneering mode?
1. turn off your O2 XDA Stealth ;
2. hold Flag, OK and Camera + press and hold Power button;
3. use navigation buttons to select the settings.

I am a foreign student studying in Moscow, so I don`t have a lot of time to test the beta ROM. Each of the improvement will spend a lot of time to test.I am sorry that temporarily unable to complete the Final ROM.
The internet cost is very expensive with slow speed. I can`t upload the ROM with normal speed to other Servers.

Thanks for the instructions yuc. I was looking at a way to do this before you posted and it should also work if you use the previous official Device Software Update Utility from O2 them selves.
All you need to do is install the DSUU on you computer and replace the "GCALL.NB0" file with the WM6 ROM and then click start. I will verify when I get home.
Step by step guide using the official O2 DSUU
1. Install the official O2 ROM update on my computer.
2. Navigate to the DSUU folder.
3. Delete "gcall.nb0".
4. Rename the WM6 .nb0 file to "gcall.nb0 and copy to the DSUU folder.
5. Start the DSUU update which will take about 5-10 Minutes.
6. After the DSUU says to begin the update reset your device.
7. If "Image Utility" doesn't appear on the screen then allow your device to start up normally. If it does appear then allow it to proceed, this should take around 20 minutes. Follow the on screen prompts to finish setup of WM6.
8. Once the device has restarted open up File Explorer (or a similar program) and navigate to the root of the device.
9. Tap on "UpdateROM.exe" which will restart the device and start the "Image Utility"
Please give a downloadable link.
Try the download link above. Just use google or babel fish to translate the page and it will be easy. I dont speak russian, but doing it this way I was able to download the file rather easily.
There is no download link on the initial page because you need to click a link on that page which will take you to an advertisement page and after you have clicked on a link on that page a 30 second timer will appear and will then give you a unique link to download the file after you have entered the password which is:- yuc.

So far so good. I have updated my ROM to WM6 and it is running better than it ever did on WM5. There is still a small part of the ROM that is not in English but nothing that would stop someone from using their device. Hopefully yuc will have the ROM completely in English for the final version. There are also some minor apps that were a part of the Stealths WM5 ROM that are not included in this one, which I hope to have a list of soon. The only thing so far that I am not liking is that the Keyboard SIP does not allow options to be set and I am used to using the small key style.
I will be posting some screen shots either later or tomorrow and I will write up a complete "review" of this ROM in the next few days.

The Notes and the SRS Control Panel don`t work well right now, I will fix it in the final edition.

This ROM is working well on my Stealth WWE but.
Upgrade it with your own risk.
How to upgrade Firmaware?
- extract files from archive;
- put *.nb0 file and CUSTFILE folder onto SD Card;
- turn off your Stealth;
- don't forget to charge the battery and connect AC adaptor;
- hold Call and End + press and hold Power button;
- You'll see Flash Utility (now you can release buttons), the process of Firmware upgrade begins: you'll see lue squares appearing on the screen, the blue light will flash (reading from SD card to the memory), then yellow light (writing from memory to flash), wait until squares stop to appear (there will be no blue light), the process takes about 20 minutes;
- the device should restart itself, if not do a soft reset, first run always takes some time, so be patient.
After the system has loaded, enter the calibration screen, use the stylus and follow the direction;
- Enter time zone, select Next;
- Stylus introduction, press Skip or Next;
- then you can enter your password or skip this action.
Firmware upgrade complete.

Mini Review
I have been toying around with this ROM for the past 24 hours and have put it through a rather intensive daily routine. After just one day I have noticed enough of an increase in speed that I am prepared to continue to use this as my default ROM. While the ROM works well, there is still some work that needs to be done however.
There are a few apps that don't work, while others are only half translated. There is nothing, though, that prevents any functions of the device being used and in fact I feel there is more of a gain than a loss. The most improvement I noticed was that the UI seems to be more responsive and faster loading than WM5.

- Hard reset after 1st boot after flashing, please
- 1st boot can be looong depending on version
- If stuck on 1st or second splash screen, then just soft reset
-During 1st boot & post install, screen dimms and goes black.
There is no error ! I adjusted backlight time settings to save battery.
Please push power once to get back to calibration step,
and during post install jog the wheel to keep light on screen, or let it go black for 1 min then push power once.
It can be tricky to get back light on screen, don't think my rOm is bugged, as it isn't !!!

Lots of cabs in the cabs folder of post_install. I should have really cleaned this - sorry for the mess.
Only one cab is really needed - GoogleMaps,
otherwise it can create errors with Manila if not installed.
The name of the Internet is "Proxy Internet",
if you use automatic set up from Chome tab "getting started".
Please note that some of the other cabs like Titanium Weather might not work for config because of this.
(You can open cab with WinCeCab Manager and edit the Titanium Weather.mscr to change internet settings.)
You can download any version of Titanium Weather here on XDA and try them.
This is rather old pluggin and I don't use it anymore
prefer the black Manila to give you top-class lookin' weather update
Here is what I do :
1°) Flash + hard reset
2°) Auto config, then the device reboots
3°) Tab "Getting started", I set up the Internet connection, then I delete the "getting started" thinggie
4°) I switch from Chome to Manila
5°) PIM restore + Advance Config system filtercache at 4096 sectors (recommended, I have 8 Gb SD)
6°) Soft reset, because after PIM phone is always slow !!!
7°) I start to play with the ROM

Sound can be adjusted as usual in a phone talk with the external wheel
For system volume, it's because the new notification page doesn't have a system sound plugin ... I think the HTC volume control can override the inconvenience. I'll try to implement the one from MEGA soon

No idea ! Did you hard reset after flash ? You use FRA version right ?
Have you changed your radio BTW ? I heard some don't work nicely with Bouygues ( the problem you described )
I called myself from home and was able to join the mobile phone perfectly. I think it's not ROM related,
someone else can confirm ?
Hi Nar, got some with cleanRam when used from CleanRam Config, it did freeze my PDA....strange....after a softreset, i tried it but with CleanRam and no problem but after the softreset, i got a screen telling me that i got a problem with MortScript V4.3b5: ''.mscr and .mortrun extensions registred. Please run any .msrc/.mortrun file or resd the manual.''
Any idea ?

Yes. The Clean Ram process is now very long to act. You must wait for the ending message or it will freeze your PDA.
The screen you got after soft reset is normal, it's Mortscript and because you installed TitaniumWeather; once done, this message takes place at boot.
You have to erase Mortscript.lnk in Windows\Démarrage to get rid of the message
(it applies only once, unnecessary afterwards.)

How can i choose the ring volume? In other roms, i click in the upper bar and i can change. In this i cant :s
any solution please?

Dear Herpez,
ATM no possibility to change ring volume ! Sorry
But you can put on vibrate or silent by comm manager, or increasing ring for example.
Sorry for the inconvenience checking a solution ...

Hello,
I indeed tried a hard reset and I use a french version. Last night I tried with my girl friend's sim card and it works So you might be right I need to intall an other version of my radio. How can I know wich version I have and which one should I install for bouygues?

Which version do you have currently installed ?
There are some radios which are not compatible with Bouygues
1.50.08.11 does not work on Bouygues network
try 1.41.00.11 or 1.56.70.11, those only two will work

EDIT : how to get back both system volume control & ringer volume control on my ROM
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
install Marc Landis SetVolume 0.5.1, here:

use "SetVolumeQVGA0.5.1.zip", unzip cab, then paste to your device and install
Then -> To use, press Start, Settings, Personal, Buttons
then map button 1 ( right button under the Power button ) to "SetVolume" program in the scrolling list, then OK
Done ! from now, you can acces both system volume and ringer volume by using the right hardware button,
tap on top of the screen to change between system or ringer control
Thanks to MisterDams for solution, I'll addd it to post install for future easy reference
TODO : add jbed package, some people really need it
