looking for any input on if you think it is worth it to go from the telus p4000 (titan) to the diamond that will be launching with telus soon. i think the specs for the diamond coming to telus are a bit different (gsm vs cdma) than what i have seen aroud the internet, so i was hoping for some feedback.

should this even be posted on "ROM DEVELOPMENT" area?
Hey folks,
I still stick with my TyTn II but it’s time for a new deveice I think the Rhodium is a good upgrade but all these different models are confusing me:
Rhodium 100
Rhodium 300
Rhodium W (which has CDMA is that right?)
...
I ve been looking around and I have no idea which carrier provides which model. Also I want to know what is the difference between all these models.
For example the T-Mobile version looks very different to my but maybe the hardware specifications are the same?
Read this:

I have a TP2 which I got outright and currently has 3 sim. Today I tried my friends Telstra NextG sim and I can't get any service. Tried manual search and also tried changing Band from Automatic to GSM(1900+850)+UMTS(1900+850).
Nothing. Also, manual search finds Optus network but not Telsrta.
This is a bit of a bummer cause I was going to switch to Telstra NextG in few weeks.
Would a ROM upgrade fix this? plz help.
Touch Pro 2 (WM 6.5 HTC Rom)
ROM: 1.86.710.3 (67102)
Radio: 4.49.25.17
btw. My friend has a Telstra branded Touch Diamond2
thats quite interesting! telstra are yet to release their 6.5 update, but perhaps getting a copy from your telstra friend when its released will fix this?
My understanding is thtat the unbranded TP2 is a 900/2100 phone. the settings may allow 850/1900 but it will not work. My understanidn is that the nextG version sold by telstra has a different internal antenna setup
The unbranded TP2 is quadband GSM but does not support Telstra 3G. Does Telstra not operate a 2G network? If not then it will not work on Telstra. You need either a Telstra TP2 or a North American TP2 (such as AT&T or some Canadian ones).
yeah Telstra does have 2G, but the whole reason of me switching is the Next G network.
can anyone with an Telstra branded TP2 post their ROM and Radio, plz.
wondering if changing the radio will fix it. I find it hard to believe that HTC manufactures TP2s, as well as Diamond2 or even Touch HD, just for Telstra.
Hello, I've already seen a few post about this but I opened this one to be a little more specific about my case and probably many more.
I have the HTC 10 m10h internacional versión which does not brings support to US and South American LTE bands (2 and 4 in my case) .
The hardware on the phones for what I've searched it's the same on international and us version, so in theory it would be possible to modify the radios on the phone to abilitate these bands, but it's easier said than done.
I haven't been able to see someone that succeed on this, and other treads talk about carriers on the US version that is not what I'm looking for.
Did anyone was able to modify this? And if so could explain the process.
Thank you
Hello
Looking for info on all the different model variants and numbers for the HTC10
I purchased a HTC One 10 M10H on ebay waiting for it to arrive now.... what exact model is the "M10H" ?
Is there a list of all current models and the differences between them? thanks :good:
Bump* I'm getting my M10h tomorrow too. I got the international version unlocked, Ebay description claims it comes with the high res earbuds(not US?). I'll be running it on MetroPCS(T-Mobile). Will I be able to flash the pme labelled ROMs? Specifically LineageOS?
There are two basic editions of the 10 that I'm aware of. The 2PS6500, North America version, and the 2PS6200 (M10h) for the rest of us, at least in Europe and Asia. That one comes with HiRez earbuds. Not sure what the hardware differences are though...
The only difference between USA and international version is the frequencies in 3G and 4G. If you're in USA the most compatible version is of course the 6500 otherwise you'll not have 4g in all areas or CA, VoLTE and so on.
What about the (2SP....)6100? What's the differences btw 6100, 6200, 6300, 6400, and 6500 models of the HTC 10? Does anyone know where to find the specs for each of the model numbers individually?
