no Caller name, only number displays - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

As in topic's name: after upgrade to 6.1 ROM my 8502 stopped to show my caller's name from device's contacts folder.
It only shows contacts' names if they are saved to SIM card.
I also can't edit contacts (internal, theese on SIM are editable), there's some "unexpected error".
Do you have any solution?
Maybe some alternative soft to manage contacts?

Cannot Save contacts

Hello alll,
Running AX3L_WM6_WWE_v3.1.2c.LITE with no problems at all, or so I thought. I cannt seem to save any info to my contacts list. When I attempt to save a name and number, it goes through the motions, but there is nothing saved. If I try to set up a NEW contact (outlook) it says "an unexpected error has occured in this program". The only way I am able to add a contact name and number is to duplicate an existing one, then change the name and number.
Any thoughts?
Thank you in advance.

Cannot delete contacts...help!

I got into weird problem with my device. I cannot delete contacts from my phonebook. It seem that these are the contacts from my previous sim card that got somehow copied into the device, but now without the sim the are still there with "delete contact" menu item inactive. when I tried to insert another sim card, I got all the contacts from the second card together with the old contacts again in the phonebook, and again I cannot delete them...
How can I delete these contacts? the device somehow caches everything from the sim...

[Q] contacts on sim not recognized when trying to import

seems i can't import contacts from sim-card, neither on cyanogenmod7 nor on virtuous quattro..
trying to import tells me there are no contacts (i see them on my old nokia n72 or other older phones)
but on every boot i get the notification "sim card full" - when i tap that notification it shows the screen "on sim card saved messages" stating "no messages found"
i also tried to wipe everything and flashed quattro without any userdata, didnt work out too
what could be the cause?

SMSC number

Hi,
I'm having trouble inserting th smsc into my HTC Desire. I'm on the optus network in Australia. I have both the 'normal' and pdu format. Is there a special trick to successfully insert the smsc number please.
Thanks.
Not sure why you'd need to change it as it should automatically work correctly after you insert the SIM card.
The correct number and format is: +61411990001
What happens when you press Refresh?

That's what I thought but it doesn't do so in both my Android phones, a Desire and a GNexus. However, when I insert the sim in a Blackberry, it works fine. Which brings me to believe it may require a PDU format. I've since updated the Rom on my Desire and entered the SMSC number above and I can now send national sms but not international. My provider assures me there isn't a block on my account so they're sending me out a new sim card. The GNexus does require the SMSC number in PDU format, though.

[Q] Add contacts / “Save contact to”

Hi! I flashed pa_n7000-3.60-11JUN2013-053741 and don't find the “Save contact to” option when add a contact. The only option is to save in google account, but I need to save in sim card.
