seems i can't import contacts from sim-card, neither on cyanogenmod7 nor on virtuous quattro..
trying to import tells me there are no contacts (i see them on my old nokia n72 or other older phones)
but on every boot i get the notification "sim card full" - when i tap that notification it shows the screen "on sim card saved messages" stating "no messages found"
i also tried to wipe everything and flashed quattro without any userdata, didnt work out too
what could be the cause?

Hi i am trying to copy all contacts at once to my new sim card. I know i can copy them one by one, but that cannot be the best way. I have done a search but the only thing I found refered to using Ctrl C but I cannot find Ctrl Does anyone have any more ideas ? Regards, John
you can use sim manager to copy all you contacts to sim card and vice versa
Thats what i thought but there is no way to copy from phone to sim card in sim manager
use the attached file and it will allow you to copy your contacts to any sim card

This is going to sound realy lame but I cannot get it to work. I open up contacte then open your sim manager from menu then click contacts to sim and a view with no contacts apears, I click save & it says that 0 contacts have been saved. I have tried all sorts of permutations with opening one first & then the next with no success. What am I doing wrong
no you are not doing anything wrong, all you need to do is intall prog on your device(not on memory card), reset you uni, start sim manager(dont need to open contacts), click on menu, select contacts to sim,it will give to all contact in your uni, select all either by clicking in the box next to it or select all from menu and save, it will save these
contacts to your sim.i am using version 6.10 so you can give it a try instead of 6.25

Finaly sorted it out. My main Universal uses WM5 & I could not get it to work in that , so I put my sim card into my second Universal & used the sim manager in that. Straight away all the contacts apeared so I pressed copy & they went onto the sim card. Strange eh, thanks for all the help, regards john

I got into weird problem with my device. I cannot delete contacts from my phonebook. It seem that these are the contacts from my previous sim card that got somehow copied into the device, but now without the sim the are still there with "delete contact" menu item inactive. when I tried to insert another sim card, I got all the contacts from the second card together with the old contacts again in the phonebook, and again I cannot delete them...
How can I delete these contacts? the device somehow caches everything from the sim...
Ok so since I have flashed Fresh 3.2 back when it first came out I have had this on going issue with Syncing my device and my My Profile Contact Card in my contacts.
First off, when I go to sync phone it begins the process and then shuts down with an error after failing to update 1 single contact. Error msg is "Error Contact 0/1" or something along those lines.
As for the My contact issue, I have tried a full data wipe multiple times trying to fix this issue. I am now currently running the latest Fresh ROM. When I select "My Contact Card" in my contacts it sits there with the loading circle icon forever and doesn't do anything. I also sometimes have an issue with my profile pic disappearing after a full charge. This is only some times though.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated guys.

This is the thing.
This started happening today...I was using Reflex S 1.9.x rom and had some probs ,and flashed a RIL 2.2.0028 (i tihnk) ,didnt work,so was angry and wiped ALL (phone,sdcard...everything!) and flashed 2-4 roms didn't like any of them (slow mainly) so wiped all again,and instaled Reflex S 2.0.1...And now,old messages (sms) started to re-apper out of the blue o.0 Some are like 3 months old ... but in the last 2 months alone i flashed 6 diff. roms ...
So after i delete the msg's,after 5mins some "other" old msg appear (and i'm not online...nor have i backedup my Handcent folder...i only backup 3 folders Apps/DCIM/Music...that's it.)

hi. maybe you have some texts stored on your sim card. i know i have some and they popup always on a fresh start. Messages > settings > sms > manage sim card messages. hope it works
Hey guys. Sorry for the confusing title. Whenever someone calls me, it simply says "Unknown". It doesn't list the actual phone number, or contact picture/name that calls me. Is this an issue with the beta?

I have the Nexus 4. My contacts are stored on Outlook, via a Google account. It worked on the previous beta, but ever since I downloaded the new beta via the OTA app, the Dialer says "Unknown" when anyone calls.
Contact has stopped
I have issue on my Samsung Galaxy I9300.
After 4.45 update, whenever I have a call I got message. "Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped "
After rebooting I have message "Unfortunately,Keep has stopped." After another reboot "Unfortunately,Transparent weather has stopped"
Always , issue with one program.(I think randomly)
I still have this issue with beta1and 2.
Any idea?
