Do the languages take up a lot of space? As i'm norwegian, my native lang and english would be nice, but isn't it possible to make a ROM with for instance all scandinavian languages plus eng or just one to rule them all? The regional settings are usually there for most localisations anyway. That said, english works for me as long as i can use the norwegian specialized letters when i write, and this is already possible. A norwegian .cab would be stellar so i could install the language on any cooked ROM, but i guess that's not possible.
Anyway thanks for the efforts, man. You cookers do make my life better

has anyone managed to change the traditional chinese interface to simplified chinese interface?

i've flashed this ROM. It is real stock Hong Kong traditional chinese ROM.
CE OS 5.2.19591 (Build 19591.1.1.6)
ROM Ver: 1.37.832.4 CHT
ROM Date: 06/23/08
Radio: 1.00.25.03
Protocol: 52.26a.25.09H
Free Memory (After setup):
Storage: 42.47 MB
Program: 55.32 MB
Installed: Adobe Flash Lite, Adobe Reader LE, YouTube
Not installed: GoogleMap
Still lack of full qwerty keyboard, but the regional setting is HK by default. speed is faster than stock hongkong english version but still slower than the cooked english ROM found in this forum.

i don't know about ROM cooking. i am still an user for cooked ROM.

A little off topic.....
Just curious though, since it's based in Traditional Chinese (unless the Chinese interface is kernel based), currently supports both English & Traditional Chinese fonts, so would there be a work around within the registry or something thus to allow the user to switch between English interface & Chinese interface?

yes, it is WWE rom.
there is a modified version on the chinese sites.
i am looking for the official version.
my mistake, it seems that the 1.94 rom belongs to raphael...

Hi, I have 1.37.479.3 WWE English version. I would like to flash the Diamond with the latest official ROM supporting Central Europe Region and languageges (e.g. Slovak). Which of the ROMs should I use?

If HTC released version 1.93 with Radio 1.00.25.05 for Middle East, where did they release it? When I try to download from HTC Club, the last version listed there is
"RUU_Diamond_HTC-WWE-ME_1.37.456.2_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.26a.25.09_1.00.25.03_Ship.exe"
[actually even this link doesnt work but at least it is listed]
Also, is this radio [0.05] quad band like the HK version?

Screen slidings
Hi Guys.
I am new here, so, sorry in advance for stupid questions.
i have a diamond bought in Russia. I changed the original russian ROM for
RUU_Diamond_HTC_Europe_1.93.401.2. Everything is working perfectly except that in original version i could slide the screens, means they come with a slide movement. Nuw it is just disappearing and anther one appears instead. without the sliding effect
Any suggestions?

Hi all,
I have Diamond with Norwegian ROM, and I have flashed it to quad band.
I would like to flash the ROM as well, to an upgraded (better performance & resource use) english ROM. However, I wish to keep the norwegian keyboard that comes standard with the norwegian ROM.
First of all, is this possible?
Also, what ROM should I choose?

Could you please help me? I found this site http://www.sunnysoft.com/htc/ bud there is problem, that I have different P/N.
