3) Microsoft Yahei as Default Fonts (best outlooking But 10M )
4) Those Animation GIF, Build in Ringtine and those theme had been removed for save spaces !

I can cook it with CE-Star and Chinese input if anyone wants it.

Personally , I prefer english interface,
but as a HK people,
I need to have a function to view chinese ..
and I HATE those fonts that using by CE-Star and Monster chinese
(the outlook of fonts is ugly ...)
therfore I use the fonts from windows vista which call Microsoft YaHei that can support cht and chs ....and best outlooking and never mess up at any size
that's why my rom is in english interface but HAD the function to view chinese ...
and for ppl who seeking for a clean rom, this may also be a good choice is be coz .. I had removed
1) clearvue PDF
2) those animated gif
3) all ring except those ring-standard.wma .....
4) those waterfall.jpg , flower.jpg ..........

I also a HK people, I agree with your point! but is it possible make it with the build in input for EN interface? and is it inculde the Windows Update?

You will be able to view CHT (or even CHS, I am not sure) using the patch. If you need Chinese inputs, you have to use those software like Monster or CE Star.

[release] Schap's WM6 Pro 3.57a-CCS (with CHT/CHS/JPN support)

Hi all,
This is a ROM based on Schap's ROM with additional chinese/japanese support, it is still an english based rom but is capable to display chinese and japanese, I also added in the Tao's 10 Buttons Kaiser CommManager and some useful programs. However, the Advanced Configurator is not working because of the new commmanager.
Features:
* Everything from original ROM
* Default theme changed to HTC black theme
* Included Tao's 10 buttons Kaiser Comm Manager
* Patched wince.nls to support Chinese/Japanese/Korean (Korean will need extra fonts)
* mingliu.ac3 font for Chinese/Japanese display

1º)I have Japanese I/O enabled, with "Roma/Kana" SIP by default (via SIP change of Sheult). But when I open a program, always "hiragana" write is default one, and I need to change to "romanji" (normal English input); but no I idea how to do it (><)
That isn't put "Keyboard" SIP for english input; it's Japanese input, but romanji by default. I hope I explain myself.
2º)Is there any way to make Pocket IE to work with Yahoo! Keitai (brose the Web pages of Yahoo! Keitai)

first of all, it does not contain any language specific SIP, therefore you can install the one you preferred... The ROM is based on the normal version, you dont have to switch in between chinese/japanese as the GUI is in English but support read/write in chinese/japanese.
in addition..
1. for the SIP problem, try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=271008 , not sure if it works or not... just give it a try
2. as for the Yahoo! Keitai, I have no idea on how to access it, I tried to search on Google but there is no any information about how to connect it.. so..

Wisbar Font
When I use wisbar version 2.8, the font on the start menu and the bottom soft button seems to small. Any advices please?
(For normal (non-wisbar) start menu, the font is ok.)

however, as for the D810 problem, what you can do is get a ROM you like in the Trinity section and use the chinese language pack available here

Do you mind to explain how you add the chinese support to the ROM file? which kitchen are you using? and where did you find the win.nls file?

I dont use any of the kitchen, I tried bepe's kitchen before however the CHT one didnt work well, so I decided to use cooked ROM and reheat again
all I do is,
1. use NBHextract to extract .nb from .nbh
2. use NBDump.bat to dump .nb file into a folder
3. put mingliu.ac3 and replace wince.nls into the folder
4. use koch's tools to edit default.hv / user.hv (registry)
5. use NBBuild.bat to build .nb file
6. use koch's tools to build from .nb file to .nbh file
that's all

Schap's WM6 Pro 3.54b seems like a mature ROM, and maybe a great idea to do a CHT support

Hi Rick,
2 small issue might need your help:
1. the Chinese music title will not display correctly while setting region to (Enlish United States), and I have to set to Taiwan or HK to display coeectly. But if I set region to Taiwan, the phone number will not display the way I wanted. For example: The regular view of any incoming call display as: (626) 555-7777, and it will only display as: 6265557777. No "()".
2. The phone address book does not display right on my Mercedes. The old version will shows address book and call history.
See if you can help out. This is an issue with all ROM with CHTsupport

The FZLTH.ttf can read CHT
I use CHS and I have not CHT ROM or CHT OEM File.
You can add .net oem file to tommy's kitchen to cook.
BTW: If you can write and read Chinese(CHS or CHT), you can Private Messages to me.

Hi likeme, you've done an excellent job! Your rom is even faster and smoother than the May1 Tommy's rom, mainly, I think, is becasue you have a ramdisk. Where this ramdisk come from? Also after installation, I actually have more storage space left than Tommy's one for my hx2410, about 12.4MB. Again, Great job!

If you want more program ram, You can change this value to change Ramdisk size.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\RAMDisk]
"Size"=dword:10 ;This value 10 is 16M,if you want 8M,change it to 8
I can not add more storage space, i don't understand. 64M ROM so small.
But ramdisk just speed up the Internet Explorer,other not obvious.
And i just Chinese localization othe oem file (such as power.exe, bt)。

Watchout! New version cannot revert back to other versions
After installing the new fuller Chinese version, it is not possible to change back to any other versions. My pda is now crippled by this rom. I think, it cannot be updated to any other future rom. Help! It always says "incorrect language" and does not allow further processing.
**Do Not Install this New Rom if You Want to Play Around with Different Versions or Want to try Future Updated Versions**

Your problem not this ROM's problem.
Take your pda to PreBL mode (hold contact+itask+power and then lightly press reset, after about two second unhold remaing buttons).
Run hpRUU.exe in my rar file to flashing ROM to other language.
Or flashing to English.
I can flashing my device to CHS/CHT/ENG version ROM.

Sorry likeme, my mistakes. I did not use the hpruu.exe included in your rar file instead I had used the older hpruu.exe that comes with the Advance Pack. Thanks likeme, you are great! Now I can play around different versions of WM6.1 in different languages! I like the Pocket Calc and the SRS HD included in your new version.

sorry i am if this is a stupid quesiton, but i am looking to upgrading my rom to able to read chinese. i certainly would not mind to have a full chinese system. However, I am knida new to this htc rom stuff, i have a herms htc 8525. Will most of the rom work for the htc system or do i have to find one that is specfifc stated for my system?

This ROM just for hp hx2xxx serial.
If you have HTC rom stuff,you can use tommy's kitchen.

I try to use different rom's (BElite/TOM diamond v3.3 ..) so I have always the same pb I can' t use all fonctionality

With this one I can use all fonctionality but it's very inconfortable to use it

I've tried every Bepe's rom, and Diamond project 3,2 and 3.3.
The best ? For me, the last bepe 0.99dx, more stable, faster than anyone, and really translate, with real t9...

With mine I can not access the portal vodafone.
(I'm at Swisscom (partner vodafone as SFR). SFR and Swisscom are also partners. The configuration should look like.

I did
But my issue was not the azerty keyboard, I had it ; but the t9, few words in french, then I have to type every letter of every word...

The Vodafone portal will work perfectly. I don't know about TV.

Translating Windows Mobile 6.5 Standard ROM

Looking for someone who can edit/translate all localization files from ROM.
We must edit all MUI, XML files etc so we can get fully translated ROM to POLISH language. We can edit ROM via HTC ROM EDITOR...
Model of the phone is HTC OZONE (non touch screen device).

You don't need to translate mui files. Windows Mobile 6.5 Standard already have Polish localization files (0415 PLK Polish Polska).
hTC rom editor is not the best tool to use. It's better to cook a Polish ROM for Ozone.

This model doesn't have 0415 (Polish) localization files but only 0409 (English) and 0C0A (Spanish).
Actually I did find similar model with Windows Mobile 6.5 Standard which has 0415 files so I exctracted them > changed names to 0409 > made CAB file > now OZONE has half of the desktop and half of the applications in Polish so we need to translate the rest.
I can send these files too to someone who is interested in translating.

Ohh.. you're doing it the hard way.
I supose you use OEM packages from hTC Snap. Most files are the same, so there should be no need to translate them, you just need to replace the corrent ones.
But you will also need to change some registry keys to match Polish language, if not - it will stay half English, half Polish.
