Advanced_Configuration_Tool_v3.2 - Screen Option Problem

Hi i have extracted the Advanced_Configuration_Tool_v3.2.zip - 4 files into a folder and copied that folder into my p3600i.
AdvancedConfig.exe
AdvancedConfig_040C.xml
AdvancedConfig_0409.xml
fr->AdvancedConfig.resources.dll
I clicked on AdvancedConfig.exe and its works fine.
However i can't get the screen options below.
Auto device lock
Auto device lock timeout
Dim backlight in unlock screen
Backlight lock level
Question :-
Have I installed the software correctly?
If not how should i do it?
I have the same issue.. now my device is locked every time my light dims, very annoying... tried already the reg setting...doesn't change

Can't Lock Device post flash to new ROMs

I've recently flashed my Orange UK diamond from the original Orange ROM to a cooked ROM, and since the update I've been unable to Lock Device... a long end key press makes the screen flash and return to the Touch Flo home page, but the device remains on, without keys locked. If I change the Long Press End Key option to display Quick List, then tap Lock Device the same thing happens. I've seen a couple of posts with the same issue, but no resolution.
My upgrade path was as follows:
Original Orange UK stock ROM
Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex
Diamond_Radio_1.00.25.05
SwiftBL-WWE-Diamond-ROM-v6.2-Full
Duttys_Diamond_5.2.20748_V1_9_Radio_1.00.25.07_Full
SwiftBL-WWE-Diamond-v6-5-Full-16MbPP
I tried Key Lock on the last 3 ROMs none of them worked (one of the reasons I tried the other two ROMS after 1st flash). I didn't try key lock after the Hard-SPL flash, so maybe an issue with Hard-SPL?
Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone got any suggestions on what might be the problem? Any other information I could supply to make this easier to diagnose?
Sorry if I've posted this incorrectly, but I'm a newbie to these forums!
Cooks can change settings. Maybe the set locking off. Download advance config and enable locking. It can be found here: http://www.touchxperience.com/en/advanced-configuration-tool.html. Look under section "screen".
I've had a look at the Advanced Config program. I enabled the "Auto Device Lock" option. This password locks the device when it's turned off for more than 5 seconds, but I only really wanted the key lock option (where a password is not required). Any other ideas?

How to remove BT total broadband setup from startup ?

- Hi. I bought recently an s620 locked on BT. I unlocked it using an internet
service. My problem is that a "BT Set Up" pops up when I turn on the phone and
it sends an sms to BT, trying to get the total broadband setup.
How can I stop it ? thanks

2 options hard-reset as you don't need the BT software on there, the better option follow this guide UPGRADE to 6.1 with PICS & LINKS
Or if you really want to keep the BT Bloatware that uses up RAM and slows down the phone then here you go:
Go into File Explorer (Start > File Explorer) press the Up command (left soft key) then navigate to 'Program Files' then to 'BTNetworks' in the folder there is an app called "HandsetSetupWizard" rename the file by pressing the right soft key > edit > rename. Rename it to something like 'HandsetSetupWizard.old" this will stop it running on boot up.

Unlock extra tools in manila comm manager

with any registy editor got to
HKLM/Software/HTC/CommManager
Change the string SupportedFunctions from default 6 to 10.
soft reset and your done
adds the following to your comm manager...
Ringer (change to vibrate mode)
Internet Sharing (launch Internet Sharing)
Beam (Turn off/on)
ActiveSync (launch acvtivesync)
Didn't work for me?
I saw your post and decided to take a look.
Mine was set to 8 already (on/off buttons) I changed to 10 and reset.
Upon boot I got an error and it wouldnt load Comm Manager. Set back to 8 and worked fine.
May be an issue with custom ROM perhaps. What ROM are you using?
I have what I need on my Comm Manager so I don't care.
im running stock sprint 6.1 ..try using advanced config. under menu go to more settings, comm manager and check off whichever u'd like 10 of them tho. click the upper rite hand ok then done and soft reset. try and see if that works

You're doing it wrong
Remove the SD card and reboot. Return to Windows Mobile and remove the PIN lock before running Haret.
