WiFi missing

I have O2 xda orbit (arte200) and recently I flashed this ARTEMIS VANILLA 4.01 WWE ROM - WM 6.1 Final 5.2.19199 (SDHC). After that wifi doesn't switch on. Yep till that worked fine! I had O2 original ROM before. MAC address doesn't appear! Strange?! Then I tried another ROMs, but without success. Now I flashed back original O2, but wifi is still missing. I can't turn it on. Any ideas?
Even flashing back factory rom, no Wlan!!!

I have got the same problem. Cant seem to fix it. I am liasing with cmonex a member on this forum for solution. there is one for a device called athena but it does not work on artemis.
if i manage to fix it will let you know.

Nothing, it just brings the round circle hour glass type of thing like its dioing something or waiting for something then disappears with WIFI still showing as off.
No matter what ROM is used (even official ones) the same problem occurs. I am at a dead end with this. Can anyone help?

If after HR or Flashing new ROM is WiFi non functional,it will be, unfortunatelly for you, hardware problem
If ROMs you are tried to flash was OS only ROMs, flash new RADIO rom, byt as I said, it seems to be caused by HW error

Yep, nothing is happening, just like RAF_SHC said. And after those upgrades my battery life reduced to 12 hours...

I have tha same problem..This problem started when I droped my device:::: Wi-Fi doesn't work and battery discharged for 10-12 hours. In the support said that need to change FLASHROM.. But I'm not sure! Could anybody says me where I can byu systemboard(motherboard) for HTC 3300 or how I can change FLASHROM??

Actually recently I dropped mine too. But only about 30 centimeters height and after that touch screen didn't work. Somehow I repaired it. Yep seems that wifi and battery problems are from that. Scorpionishe is right . How to repair this? Someone help plz.

Even i have the same problem as described by the video(sorry for my english).
But i think i know the problem.
I don't think that this is a software problem becouse i installed different roms
and the wifi problem was again.
My wifi was working,till the moment i took of (for couriosity) the back cover (you can see uploaded pic)
So,i think that those metalic strips seen on the 2-nd pic has been moved and caused the wifi problem.
I repeat that i didn't have wifi prob till i moved the cover,so i think that the problem.
Something else.When i put pressure to those metalic strips the phone gets blocked and the screen gets white.I think that we have to repair that section or get a new cover.
This is my opinion.

I don`t think that the problem is in the cover. But could you please explain everything with your artemis `couse i didn`t understandt everything

The problem starts moving the back cover,becouse when i removed it,the metalic strips(2-nd pic) don't have contac with the main board.You can see that in a HTC P3300.

Ok , after 5 minutes i opened my artemis ... and I saw that the metalic strips HAS a contact with the main board. So thas isn`t the problem I think. We have to find better solution for our problem

Yes.You may be right.
The only question for me is that,why this problem happend after i removed the back cover??
For 1 thing i am sure:The white screen problem is there,you have to try(putting pressure on the metalic strips ) .

In my opinion the problem is the following:
HW fault in your device. I say this because of the battery problem... i had the same problem with my camera: battery only 10-12 h (i had to replace the camera). Unfortunately for you, you can't replace WiFi module (you have to replace the mainboard). I'm sorry if i'm scarying you.... But if you want to be sure, take your Artemis to a repair shop and ask about the problem.

Camera issues: Circle-Ring in the middle - anyone came accross this?

So I have few issues with the camera. All in this album. Sorry if its already
reported.
2. This I noticed by accident. It actually doesn't show well on the original picture 7 picture in the above posted album. But I noticed that circle to be present in the preview everywhere even if very very very difficult to spot. And you need to have really good eyes to see it. However when saving the pic, the circle vanishes a little, but with little tinkering I was able to make it show. In the album is the original also to see. I tried another applications like ZoomFx or Camera ICS, and they didnt show this circle in the preview. I do not want to experiment with the pics taken from them so I can think this is just the original camera issue.
HOW TO: Just open the HTC Camera app, and look on the screen, right in the middle, and focus on near objects, hand, wall, 10-20-30-40 cm away, the ring shape should reveal itself when moving the phone. You should notice the shape always the same.

1. I had no effect on. And I wasn't reproduce this since (also didn't do so many pics since as well) Is this some effect or an issue?

How to get rid of the pinkish, violet hue? When changing it to daylight its too much yellow. You can see how it should look like in the picture nr. 2 in the album. I took that picture (2), I focused on the tree/sun up , moved the cam quickly down and took the picture before it changed to the pink like you can see on this pic.

I have seen that also on a few occasions, I have except once noticed the problem and closed the camera app and reloaded it and it solved the issue. Only once has the image saved like that.

Which of the issues ? 1.2.3 ?
That 1. might be temporary 3. might be solved by settings I hope
but the 2. seems to be strange. Also I have the feeling its not only mine HOX having this. It was really hard to spot. But its present everywhere, even if extremely hard to spot.
Next week I will check out 3 other HOXes to see if its there as well.

Kinda think that the 2 is actually and as I wrote up, more ppl will have it.
Can you try what I wrote? Just make the camera on, try to look on near objects through it. your hand, wall, table, something red-yellow, when you see a shape that's not changing and its staying always in the middle.
Best to make the grid option on, and it will be directly in the middle grid quadrant.
Its big so it fills it out actually, so not needed to look for something tiny 1mm.

I still think, many can see the 2 if they try. Would like someone who could explain or address this.

I have experienced 2 once, I am sure this is a software related bug.

I would say you don't "experience" this, you might "notice" this once. I believe its always there, maybe the software just filters it out to some extent but on some pics it will be visible nevertheless. Btw as I said the 2 I had to filter, edit till I could make the shape visible like that.

Anyone got a 3.5 mm clickable dustplug working?

There are those 3.5 mm dust plugs available for very low money. I went ahead and bought one. It arrived yesterday. I tryed it directly. But i could not get it to work.
I would like to know if anyone has such working with the HTC10. Maybe mine is faulty?
I wanted to use the "KLICK" software. When i plug in the Button to the 3.5 mm jack i am asked about what i connected. I choose KLICK button there. But it stays without function and i still see that Headset symbol in notification bar. Also the sound is muted to the button.
Then i tryed some other derivates of this software but none made it work.
Mine faulty? Many thanks.

PS.: HTC 10 stock EU rom without branding.
PPS.: When i connect a headset and say it is headset, the buttons of the Headset work with the software. But when i say the headset was just a button the sound is still in the headset.

Ah well, due to my repeating trys the plug fell into two peaces. Now it is definitively broken. I'm still curious if anyone got one working? Thanks.

They don't work with the 10. I've tried it with my 10 and it doesn't work. I bought the 3.5mm one with the built in infrared. I've tried my gfs iPhone 6 which works fine. Double check the instructions to see if the 10 is supported.

Pressy works fine with the stock rom apparently. I had one thrown in the drawer since it stopped working on Marshmallow and I just looked for it after seeing this thread. I finally found it few minutes ago, installed the original app from the playstore and .. yes ... all the functions are working nice. The only annoying thing is that I cannot get rid of the headphone icon in the taskbar (but the sound still goes through the main speaker, like there are no headphones inserted).
Let me know if you need me to test anything else with it.

Yes, works fine with stock rom. Tested with Android 6 & 7.

So with your help i think that i can come the conclusion, that this special one for 2€ i got from amazon in germany was incompatible and broken. And i will give another product a chance in future. Sadly those ones you had shown me, are quite expensive. Like the 10x of price. Or maybe interestingely. Idk.
It will take a while until i have time to order a new one. Currently i became a bit uninspired since my washing machine burned today and is broken and i have to spend all my spare money into a new.
I will report back with results, when i have sorted things out.

Confirmed, works fine in stock and in Viper.

I've got mine semi working with the mSwitch app on Viper10 rom. "The app Formerly known as KeyCut." The only thing is theres a few options the will only work with root permission and i havent been able to figure out how to give it. And its not even asking for it .Other than that, its working ok........

If on custom ROM, can hide headset icon in SystemUI Tuner.

[ISSUE] Moto G7 Power - Display graphics error

Hi There,
I am new on the android scene and I have recently got my first Moto G7 Power and flashed Lineage OS onto it without GAPPS as I am not a fan of Google. Once the OS is installed on the device everything seems to work fine and I have had no issues with it. No today I didn't charge the device and the device died. When I power the device on everything is normal and then I lock the device display. When I go to check my next SMS message I find that the colours on the display are all messed up. It is kind of what I expect out of a computer when there is a graphics rendering error. I have some photos below;

I did follow all of the instructions in the documentation linked. I have not used the "Get Help" options as I didn't see those till today. I will also post this to these communities.
Additional information I attempted to take a screenshot of the issue though when the screenshot is sent to my computer the issue is not shown in the image.

This problem is happening with me too, it is when I plug the usb cable and block the phone, when it wake up the display are messed. Reset is normal again. Tried to turn off screen saver but it didnt help.

I'm experiencing this problem with other situations too. After more tests I saw in another site this workaround: Change your color profile [Display] -> [Advanced] -> [Colours] from 'Natural' to 'Saturated' and back. Colors will return to normal. After doing that and what PhoneThe4th said I am not experiencing the problem.

Try this:
System - Buttons
( long-press all buttons, to see menu)
Back long press action-Kill foreground app
Home long press action-Kill foreground app
Recent long press action-Kill foreground app.
I did this yesterday (1/10/2022) .

Question Video Fainting while playing on the device

Hi, well I was new here so I was thinking of starting with one problem at a time but,
Whenever I try to play a video, like from all platforms (Prime Video, Youtube, video players like VLC, websites, etc....), the normal color of the video is hindered like there appears to be some kind of a fainting screen overlapping the video reducing the color and playback experience.
And the main thing is this seems to go away when we press the Volume rocker button and until the volume bar appears on the screen the natural colors of the video appear but as soon as it disappears, it goes back to the hindered color version.
It seems like a film is pasted over the screen area and as soon as you press the volume rocker, it is removed!
I have tried formatting and also deleting specific apps used for playing videos and reinstalling them, but of no avail.
Could someone maybe help me out?

Idk if it will work but I would suggest to turn of all options in menu called "Dark Mode options"

Nope I have showed it to the xiomi sevice center and they think it might be a motherboard issue and asked me to let them keep the device for a couple of days but since I'm not free enough I couldnt give it to them! Am planning on giving it next week!

Hi there!
I changed my motherboard due to another issue with networks but the video issue still remains!
Now the service center guys are saying that it is a feature in the device but what kind of a feature it is if it doesn't let us use the amoled screen with the original colors and darkness!
Well currently don't know any solution have suggested to feedback app in miui but no updates of the same!
If you have got any solution please do tell!
