As new roms comes out every day, this might be the place to post your results of Dynamix 3d benchmarks here.
7061 fps on WWW 1.37.405.1 flashed rom
and i had around the 3800 or something with my stock dutch 1.35 rom
Please download Dynamix 3d benchmark here: http://www.dynamixsoft.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=29&Itemid=33
ok i will try it...
with the 707 i get an average fps of 26,56
min 22
max 29
so that looks really bad.
ROM: WWE Rom 137.456.2 Signed for Middle East
Score: 6810
Min: 49
Max: 72
I love benchmarks, & i love overclocking for higher score
ROM 137.456.2
Score 6968, min 48, max 73.
Rom wwe 1.37.405.1
Score: 6865

I'm getting an error with the download link, is there another?
weird:
Backlight on --> 25/26 fps
Backlight off --> 65/66 fps

Great , you found the reason why GXMark and all other "benchmark" tools suck.
Each one can set-up its device with plenty of hacks tweaks and limitations to score "better"
I remember a Chef whom set his baclight at the lowest visible level to claim the "longest" runtime of his ROM with battbench.
I will run it once. with all standard things enabled on TLR ROM, just out of curiosity

I have with backlight on my score. Would you imagine what my score is when i put my backlight off
Well, don't know what u r doing different than me...
I'm also on 1.37.405.1 ROM
but when my device turns out the backlight, there is an incredible increasement of the fps...
The problem i have when my backlight flips off is that the benchmark quits/hangs.

For all bencmarks, Backlight or power savings must be disabled guys!
1.37.707.1
score 6986
avg 68.74
min 35
max 75
rom 1.37.405 wwe
I performed the Dynamix 3D Benchmark with Kaiser (ROM: HyperDragon III) and had the following result.
Score: 7884
Min fps: 67
Max fps: 86
But when I pressed on the touchscreen, the score dropped about 40%.
Do Diamond has the touchscreen bugs?
The link to download the benchmark test is not working.
Can you forward another link?
Grab it at my site here!
Thanks! Let me contribute with my figures.
My diamond is still in its original ROM: 1.34.831.1 WWE.
The only tweaks I've done are the Cache Boost and Kill BioTouch.
FPS: 6816
Min: 48
Max 72
It looks like the score is rather impressive even without doing flash. But why?

Just a general question. Fresh, dc, stock, or baked with even overclock highest mflops i got were 9 mflops. So I added Frozen Eclair JIT to Fresh and was able to get 21 mflops @ 1125mhz. I have balanced my phone now for battery life and performance. I am at 537mhz which is giving me 10mflops and 55 fps on netarchy kernel 3.7.1. My question, Is my phone faster @ 537mhz with jit than stock @ 998mhz? I believe that the higher the mflop the faster the phone right?
mflops, is millions of floating point operations. therefore more is better.
This is a VERY interesting question. I kind of doubt that it will receive a good answer, though. I don't know what the answer is.
I would assume that processor speed is king. But if a lower processor speed gets you higher Mflops than, say, my phone than I guess that Mflops are king. I don't know why that would be that way, though.
SWEET I'll take 10mflops @ 537mhz because everything runs flawlessly internet, streaming video, and phone. When I need to game I can turn up the processor to 998 or 1125 and get 17 to 21 mflops. Thanks. My daily driver for now will be 537mhz. More battery life and more power than 2.1 android.

**EDIT**Nevermind............i need to get rid of Sense ui
I had a hard time to getting rid of my raining animations too lol

HI, I just used the Linpack benchmarking app and my MFLOPS score ranges from 6.8 to 7.5, This seems very low compared to other devices, Can you guys comfirm waht you are getting?
Results are
MFLOPS = 6.265
Time = 0.86
Norm Res 3.36
Precision : 2.22.446049250313E-16
it will be better with froyo
Well, with froyo it will reach 40+ MFlops, but when other devices get froyo they will get higher scores again...We just need to face it,our Snapdragons come second. However, the way I see it,if we exclude games, the differences are purely theoretical! The Desire is really damn fast as it is!
My results are as follows:
Mflops 6.87
time 0.79
norm res 3.36
precision 2.22044604925031E-16
But have seen it drop once to 5.28
It's normal with 2.1+Sense.
As the title says whats the max o/c can you get out of your defy?
Im on standard 2.1 and can get 1300mhz @ 80vesl and get 1388 in quadrant.
So if your a o/c nutter and try an get the max out of everything tell us what ya can get!
Sent from my Defy using XDA App
I'm getting 1348 at the stock 800 mhz :/ Got about the same when overclocked. So, meh.
1350/80 stable, 1409 in quadrant. (stock rom)
Sent from my MB525 using XDA App
Pays ROM v5
Quadrant: 1405
setVsel: [email protected] (haven't tried higher than 1100Mhz yet)
I got 14xx (no trick) with 1000 @ 50 and 16xx (no trick) with 1200 @ 62 on finland 2.2.
For how long and how hot did your Defy get?
it ran for about an hour at 1350, and the max temprature was 39°C as i recall. based on abc's results, that jit in 2.2 is a big performance hit, looking forward to the official update

Just ran 1400mhz @ 95vsel
1508 on quadrant
Ran stability test for 2hrs30mins @28°c (had it sitting on an icepack haha)
Stock 2.1 and its very snappy.
Sent from my thumbs
just run [email protected]
quadrant 1709 1st score, 1671 2nd score.
2.2.1 froyo, 3.4.2-155
i got 1589 with 60/1200
Can running such high frequencies and vsels regularly damage the CPU? I'm kind of scared of toasting it, so i stopped at 1100/60 (scaled with setvsel)

i dont think so... did the stability test for around 15 minutes and the temp stays at 38 C
60/1200 with threshold at 80%, everything is so smooth

Hmm, i know have it at 62/1200, with threshold at 60%. 80% makes it feel a little laggy.
Hopefully the processor will last the life of the phone at these settings!
My phone has been freezing sometimes, and I think that maybe my phone isn't stable i have it at 600-28 800-38 1000-52 so what's wrong? How do I even use a stability test to check if it's okay?

There's a built-in link for Stability Test in SetVsel, you can download it from Market. Try to set 30vsel for 600MHz, and 40vsel for 800MHz, 28 and 38 was the stability limit for me. Maybe 52vsel should be increased to 55-58vsel.
Alrite, I put it at 30,40,& 58. The stability test ran the cpu 15 times in 25 min. How's that??
IMHO 52 vsel is definitely too low for 1000. I never get completely stable going below 55-56, I keep it at 58
52 is ok..i have 48 on 1000
my limits are [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected], these are stable. 28 for 600 and 38 for 800 is too low (at least for me). i dont think 52 for 1000 is too low.
that is just my experience. I have never tested below 55 on CM7 though, I have just assumed it to be too low since that was my conclusion with other roms. It would seem fine below the 55 mark but I would experience random unexplained freezes and reboots. I leave it on 58 now because it has seemed to cure the random problems.
Everyone's mileage will vary!
Thanks a lot, but are the results of my stability test alright?( 15 cpu runs in 25 min.)

Make sure to run the stability test at each frequency
Hi,
I got this very weird results from Quadrant:
@ standard voltage for 300/600/1000 I get 1450 points
@ 22/33/53 voltage for the same clock I get only 1100 points
=> so the performance is directly dependant on voltage, not clock! My system ran stable for days under all circumstances.
to be more precise: Only the voltage for Vsel3 (= 1000mhz in my case) is important
What does that mean ? Can someone explain ?
nope..thats now true..try to run the test again..i bet u will get comparable difference in score..
more vsel value does nor give more score..
processor needs some minimum amount of voltage(threshold) to run smoothly..once it crosses the minimum voltage the remaining voltage is the excess voltage..which doesnt affect the performance of the cpu..and excessive voltage produces heat which is not gud for the mobile
so do the test again or even lower the vsel value and test again..u will not get less score(if u get less score then do the test again and u may get more score).
btw pls correct me if i m wrong
I ran the test about 5 times with each setting.
@ 55 voltage I always get good results, below 54 I always get bad results.
strange...i have [email protected],[email protected],[email protected] get 2200+
btw i m running CM7
yeah I know that CM7 is very effective but I'm still afraid of the whole flashing process... And I don't know if CM7 can be returned to stock froyo if necessary...
I'm on nordic right now, which I flashed with RSDlite...
its very easy to flash CM7..just follow the tutorial..u should try CM7..it is awesome..
All the best
