About the Kitchen
New Trinity base rom 3.03.xxx it might fix some driver and memory problems
OS base: VF Kaiser UK 3.08.161.0 (Build 19199)
OEM Apps removed, but you need to clean up the OEMDrivers package
I did not do any changes to the OS, because it should be a clean base Kitchen for all of you
Full XIP editing supported by the Kitchen
New tool to merge all dsm files to one big file and delete all rgu's
I think the OEM package to SYS problem should be solved... but did not try it yet
How to use it
Requires Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package
OEM and SYS can be used as known
The content of ROM\XIP will be used to create a new XIP section for the OS
You don’t have to worry about relocating modules... add/remove whatever you like and the new tools will take care of relocating modules or freeing RAM
.VM and .ROM is updated automatically
Actually this Kitchen runs in auto mode, which means you only need to run BuildNB.bat to create the ROM. You can change that by editing the bat files; made it this way, because I don’t use the options in BuildOS.exe
I consider this a perfect port of the new build to this device
Replaced all XIP SYS packages (I did not just changed coredll.dll to get the new build number)
There were also boot.rgu changes my MS, those have been added too
SYS is completely untouched

when try to connect to internet, a tome limit messafe appear.....
in bepe's kitchen for hermes was into shell32.exe module, I changed it, but nothing to do , messagte appear!!!

hey, noone answer???
the problem is:
while I'm sincronizyng the pda with pc by activesync, it stops to work, and time bomb appear:
in hermes 3d someone posted the solution, a fixed shell32.dll module, I've used it too, but the message puntually appear....
any suggestion about???

I try the new bersione witouth any changes and it boots but there is some problem with some character in setting tab as can you see:
For Commanager and HTC Home plug there isn't the mui files that are in OEMLANG but for strange carachter for left softkey and tab setting?

The Rom Date is the Date from the "OS.nb.payload" out of bepe's kitchen.
- The SYS content is Build 19202.1.0.0
- The OEM content is from a GER WM6
- The XIP is from bepes WM6.1 Kitchen 5.2.19199
The ROM has:
- 28MB Free Work Memory
- 57MB Free Data Memory
and there is also:
- Windows Live in it with the Version 10.6.0034.0800
- Office Mobile 6.1
- Adobe Reader LE 2.0
I hope that brings some clearence into it.

You use bepe´s kitchen? I try ROMdonalds, but it dosn´t work... The calibrate on start doesn´t exist after the update, I don´t know why.
Where can I download Bepe´s kitchen? I want YOUR rom without MS live and Office products, Erste Schritte and Messenger. Is it allowed to use your ROM for this modification?

i don't have those problems, maby check "unicode activation" but i don't know if
it fixes your problem. For me it all goes right in that therm.

With XSCD-Tools you need 3 files to flash , exactly.
But with USBDN.exe you can flashing with only one file, yes that i mean a ROM file.

2. no need to check a "[ ] XIP BIN"
3. Press download to sending the ROM data to P51.
(Your P51 connected with USB flashing mode)

and wait until the P51 startup.
This tool can't run on Vista.

Just a bit more info. I have been playing with your rom vs other ROMs. I have found your version being quite stable except for the Voice Clips. Other WM6 ROMs may have the Voice Clips working but not very stable particularily the bluetooth connection. The system often freezes.
I have also tried to insall Windows Live Mobil 10.6 on top of your ROM and found the same problem. It may well relate to other module(s). When Voice Clips is pressed, the system does try to record. You will find the tmp in Windows Live tmp directory but zero length. Somehow the system can't start the recording. If fixed, the ROM is nearly perfect as far as I am concerned.

and i think it's hard of work ,,,, otherwise you are a programmer and extract my ROM and translate then rebuild the ROM.
but..do you know,most of ROM on another device in my country.
We did't use Thai's user interface ,we use to read and typing only.

Honestly i don´t know,maybe this build is tweaked by darkforces team, but i don´t understand chinese, and maybe build 19209 is newer, the fact is that this one revealed as the only 6.1 build, that i´ve tested untill now, that has lower memory leak, it stays at a constant average of 21 mb ram free with 8mb pool and cube turned off. And for the daily usage of my artemis is the best to navigate with iGO 2008 in 3d mode.

If I use the PIE included in this OS (zoom function works!!!) I can't use SMS or MMS... I don't undarstand why but PDA doesn't show SMS in accounts.

It's identical to my previous rgu in OS 5.2.19199... I don't think it's a registry problem.

When running BuildOS, I get either the error "Could not find file xxx\xxx\imageinfo.bin for packages that aren't selectable or "Error building default.hv and user.hv!" when I try to cook Office2007 into the ROM. Any ideas?

Did you make any RGU changes? HV error's usually happen when you make a RGU change that's not really correct or compatible. Also how are you cooking office in? OEM or sys? I think the packages you have may be intended for sys.

I have not made any RGU changes, just using straight OEM packages. Are some packages meant to go in the SYS folder instead of the OEM folder?

can you describe the office package your adding, is it multiple folders or one folder with the option.xml file in it? if contains option then should be oem.

Already gaveup once on trying to learn how to cook. been looking for a "walkthrough" ever since, before someone call me a noob and start telling to search from "google" or "wiki", ive already doned that and for me its not enough. Im a slow learner but once im into it .. im really good. so please if someone had any step by step guide please tell or guide me ..

Is it possible to integrate the latest buildos by bepe (load and save options) because the one with it is very plain and hard to use if you have several OEMs?
Also, is this based off of Abusalza? It says D3 Abusalza each time on the splash screen.

i was trying to cook with this kitchen ANY working ROM (ANY BOOTABLE ROM) but i can't
everything seems to be ok during buildos stage and rest of buildrom.bat procedures
but whan I flash ROM i created it stops on first screen and...nothing but freezing cold..
anyone same problem??

Sounds like you have XIP problems, try recooking from previous working xip.

I believe he did this by hex via os.payload.nb
you can use different to see if fixes.
