Where to get black Comm Manager and Dialpad?

Hi!
I've been searching this (excellent!) forum for these files with not Much luck.
I've come across a comm manager called mun_rus comm manager and I've tried phone dialpad-international and the zombienexus one.
The comm manager, I can't install because I get an error message saying I don't have the access rights to do so.
The dialpad-international installation doesn't seem to change anything on my phone, because everything stays the same once installed.
The zombienexus does change the phone dialpad to the layout I want, but does not use the blue/green smartdialling color scheme I've seen on some cooked roms and would like to have. Also, the dialpad used for startup pin request is not replaced by the zombienexus installation, which means I end up with a green and a black dialpad...
Please can anybody point me to the correct cabs, or files to overwrite on my phone to get those two things to work the way I like?
I'm using the AUS WM6 no SPL found in this forum.
Thanks !

Try This, it works on my 838Pro ...
Hi,
thanks a lot for this file. I get the same error message trying to install this one as with mun_rus one...
"Installation was unsuccessful.the program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions."
Any ideas what I could do?
Thanks!

Maybe your ROM is lokked by default. So try a cooked version from this forum and it just works.
I've installed it on SEA version thanks for share.
I was able to install the comm manager hkkk888 posted. Thank you! I had to stop the comm manager trough task manager first.
Thanks again!
Now I'm only missing the dialpad(s) and I'll be a happy man...
Can anyone do a screen capture to show how this Comm Manager skin look like?
I would like to change the one on my Trinity WM6 too. Also, if anyone can show me a dialpad with video call button will be great.
look like this
http://www.mobile-review.com/pda/review/image/htc/elf/screens-official/scr05.png
The comm manager posted before dissapears after a soft reset and leaves me with a blue colored one...
The one I am posting stays after soft reset. Not sure, but the font on it looks more blurry...
DIAL
Dial Sceen?
ROM cookers/Devs
I understand from other threads that the issue with the dial pad is that the kaiser has 3g codecs that differ from the trinity/other htc devices, which means the 3g video call button on this dial pad does not work.
My question to you guys is; how easy/hard would it be to change the dial pad so that the action/function call behind the 3g video call button doesn't call the 3g codec/action we don't have but calls the video call function that we know we can use...?
Regards,
different dialpad from wm5?
If wm5 dialpad should work on wm6 you can try one from Hermes, works for me in wm5.
using Official WM6 SEA version, having same problem.
"Installation was unsuccessful.the program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions."
However, fixed and successfully installed by stopping Comm Manager reside in memory first
hopefully this can help all

Guys, Whoever face this problem, just restart your device and do not start any program before installing this comm manager. The reason you get this error because, your existing comm manager is running and this file cant overwrite the running file.

The WLAN keys are different for 838 pro and Trinity and so for other HTC devices. The Comm Manager for Hermes will definitely NOT work for Trinity (For WLAN and Data Connection)
I don´t know about data connection, but the WLAN button DOES turn the Wifi function on and off on my device.
Still looking for the dialpad
The AUSDIM "modified official rom" does have the dialpad/comm manager I want... I´ve sent him a P.M. asking if he could share them but no luck yet...
Maybe he can/will post them...
Thanks!
There you go...
Addario, that´s the Zombienexus dialler isn´t it? I´m looking for that design but with other colors for the autocompletion window.´The Ausdim Rom has a dialpad with green/blue colored contact list window. If you open the last file in the cab, you see what looks like color codes... Any ideas if this is correct or how to edit these correctly?
Also after reading trough this and other forums it seems that it is not possible to just change the dialpad where you enter the PIN-code, without flashing another rom... Seems a bit odd...

Wrong. Here is a nice black dialpad - finger operable - I believe it ma be the one in AUSDIM's ROM - but it has no Video Call support - the only downside. It does update the pinpad entry, too. It says Wizard - but I have it installed on my trinity - works fine.
nealed, thanks. It's great, more finger friendly than other dialpads.

Wrong font type in comm amanger

I have tried all of the new WM6 rom's with "black" look and in most of them I get that the comm manager font is all messed up destroying the nice original look.
Has anyone experienced this problem?
please take a look at the attached file.
Thanks for your help

Make sure your fonts size is set to medium
Hi jmermel,
Thanks for the reply.
I've checked ad the font is already set to medium.
The problem must be somewhere else...
The same thing has happened to me many times with different roms. In fact it even changed back to normal with a soft reset on some of them.
Hi,
have you the cab file of this comm manager?
Thank's

Just to make it clear, this problem also happened with other comm managers like the one from HTC Kaiser (10 button) or the one with 8 button... so maybe this has to do with some font that is changed by some piece of software.
Just guessing...
No more ideas about this...?

I have notice this problem too on many ROMs, I think that the issue comes from your today theme or do you have Wheather Panel installed on your device ?
Each time I install this soft, it happens.
Funny- I use weatherpanel too!
me too...I will try to uninstall and see what happpens
No doubt...That's WeatherPanel causing this problem.
Would it be possible to get any workaround???
Go to the weatherpanel folder in the theme folder and remove/rename the 2 TTF files (font files) that are there.
After that softreset and commmanager should be normal again...

In the cab collection thread there is a NewStyle Comm-Manager cab. I'm also using Vanilla 2 and this comm Manager, working perfect.
If WiFi does not work you'll have to delete this key: HKLM\Software\HTC\CommManager\WLAN
Cheers
(It's this comm-Manager, but the screenshot isn't from my Artemis, that's why there are other buttons (3G)...)
thanx
thanks you peter

'Uninstalling' Schap's 4.30 Comm Manager for "Schap's 12-button Comm Manager"

'Uninstalling' Schap's 4.30 Comm Manager for "Schap's 12-button Comm Manager"
Hi all,
Not posted on the forums for ages; decided to upgrade to Schap's WM6 Pro 4.30 ROM yesterday- all seems fine so far.
I noticed that the Active Sync icon is missing in the 4.30 ROM Comm Manager. So I decided to installed the Schap's 12-button Comm Manager cab file. Seems to install fine but when I go Comm Manager, it looks like the previous layout is still there and the new one is literally sitting on top of it.
My question, how can I remove the original Comm Manager cab install?
Many thanks.
Have you tried stopping the comm manager using task manager, and then installing the comm manager u want? Sometimes that can be the problem!
Why not read and post in the Schaps 4.30 thread like everybody else?

I think that your comm manager is not on the top of previous, but there is a problem with a comm manager in one style, i think its the on/off style. Try changing it in AdvanceConfig->Comm manager, set it to Default style!
