I'm just wondering if there is a mod who s resident in the Prophet sub fora... I've noticed a lot of new Prophet users recently, and there are some threads that could do with being locked, moved or just plain deleted...
Also, some of the stickies in the Prophet Mobile 6 forum are ancient, and contain very little relevant information.
If there isn't a mod there, I would happily do the dirty work (I spend far to much time here, and need something to do!), and I'm sure there are other senior members who are Prophet users who would also do the same.
If there is a mod, who are they so I can PM them with the threads no one uses?
Looking forward to whatever the answer is!

I think I am one of the more senior (in terms of posts - in the top 10 ) members (not that Mods are considered purely because of this - I hope!) and I doubt random new (ish) members would even be considered for mod positions... That leaves the middle classes

I think post count has an impact (look at how few members there are who have very few posts, and compare that with the top 10 posters), but I also would guess that the contents of those posts has an impact.
England suck at sport...

Agreed. I have donated to the tom_codon PhamQuang cause - but because I wanted to. There are other great ROM chefs that I have donated to, but the number of different begging posts for the PDAVIET ROMS is putting me off seriously.
It's like there are insiders from PDAVIET in our forums begging as if they are nothing to do with the whole thing.
Some will never give, some will always give - but never all will give. So Give us something all spiderx - a rest about donations - even if I personally think it a great idea to encourage those who make our PDAs better.

There should be the 2 versions listed on his site, basic and advanced but I can only seem to find the link to the basic download. If you have any more luck then just let me know as I'd like to give the advanced a try altho I'm more than happy with the basic edition.

In case you hadn't noticed, I did post a link to the rules - this is also called "being helpful". Not true. Most of my first 100 or so posts were helping noobs use Dutty's ROMs so I was always posting in the same few threads.

No, I did not see it before I posted. I don't spend all day/night on the forums and don't have time to read every post before I post, so I do miss a lot of what is posted. I work full time and have a life outside of the forums.
Having said that, I am sorry for posting something that already had been, it was not intentional. I did not see the previous announcement before I posted.
Regardless, it is great news and a move in the right direction.

Most of us do not spend day and night on the forums, and you don't have to either. Simply use the search function, takes no more than 15 seconds, and you'll know whether it has been posted or not. Simple and easy.

we all understand that many of us has a life outside xda developers and have no time to read all the threads that are posted on xda.
BUT therefore we have a so called "search button" where you could write some words like RSPL or HSPL and that will point you to some threads like the one's you linked to from other website's
