GREEK Phone Pad and Smart Dialing???

The Greek Rom for Qtek 9000 is now Cra...d! Can The experts from here take the Phone Pad and Smart Dialing with Greek support??
Then we can use them to other devises!!!

Yes that would be nice
I'm using an ETEN M600 an unfortunately there is no Greek support especially for my contacts and smartdialing
For the moment I 'm using the Phoneplus utility which has greek support but has some minor issues with SMS

I already did it, for the friend from Athenes, but for other device.. I can help you if you inform what Smart Dialing version (build) use, and as the Greek letters on buttons are located.

I'm using the HTC version 2.1 (build 169)

Check up an arrangement of the Greek letters on the keyboard:

If it is correct... Try...
Rename smartdialing.dll in Window folder. (Into OLDsmartdialing.dll, on an example). Copy smartdialing.dll from attached, in a Window folder. Soft reset.

I want Smart Dialing and Phone Pad to use it with the Gigabyte g-Smart.
I don't have the Phone yet, but i know that this phone has another programm like HTC Smartdialing.
Wenn the phone arrives i wont to install the smartdialing, but i don't have it. Can you upload it anywhere???

Most likely, I have incorrectly established some Greek letters (those which do not appear).
That I could help, it would be necessary that you have written in the Greek language, as the Greek letters on the phone pad are located.
(Here I used some Russian letters- [2ΑΒΓαβγABCabc] [3ΔΕΖδεζDEFdef] [4ΗΘΙηθιGHIghi] [5ΚΛΜκλμJKLjkl] [6ΝΞΟνξοMNOmno] [7ΠΡΣπρσPQRSpqrs] [8ΤΥΦτυφTUVtuv] [9ΧΨΩχωψWXYZwxyz])

The amazing thing and frustrating the same time is that it misses contacts with the same last name (which logically were written with same letters)
For example I have three contacts with last name starting ΜΗ and the smartdialing appears only one.
And this is not because there three contacts there, because in another case with multiple same last name contacts, they all appeared correctly.
Strange!!!!!

Can someone modify this?
The other one postet above is working ok with Gigabyte g-Smart and with the Hardware Keybord. But it's not recognize the names with these Greek Letters with accent.

After Hard Reset, it works!!!!!
The problem is only that the letters is unicode and it splitt the sms every 70 charachters.
A*C*E in Greece had made an aplikation that change the letters so you can write sms 160. I don't think anyone can help here.

here my first rom and this one is working
I AM NOT RESPONSABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE !!!
what i did
-first run the wwe B&B 3.7 rom
-if OK ? then run my ruu singed rom
This will change the language to DUTCH (nederlands)
This will also update the radio version to 02.94.90
(btw : this is NOT a B&B3.7 dutch version !!!)
please give me some advice how to go further from here....
after upgrading to my rom there will be a small error that says
that it can not find
some files in the external rom.
Just after first boot press the reset button and wait ...
Can any body tell me how to fix this ????
I tested it on my own MDA t-mobile C3 and its working perfect now
so...
can anybody help me further on this ??

Bij de eerste file stop er mee. ik heb gereset dan doe hij krijg ik het beginscherm. Hij mis de extended rom.

I think you stripped this rom too much.
There are no buttons working anymore, except the green and red button??

after installing tomtom the gps button starts tomtom and the button also apears in the buttons list at settings->buttons.
making me think that it is just a register setting or something.
so mabye if someone finds the right register keys the button will start working again... or mabye not.
either way I'm not bothered as I just use a english version. and the person I flashed the dutch version for said that she doesn't use the buttons anyway

well it apears to be just registry settings gone bad!
don't worry I made a fix!
ok since there is apperently no voice recorder voice dail and direct camera link/function those buttons will not work.. but! you can asign another function to those buttons if you like trough the normal way (start->instellingen->knoppen)
so lets begin shall we?
you'll need:
* total commander ppc http://www.ghisler.com/pocketpc.htm (or any other ppc registry editor no garantees that it will work with another one tough)
* my registry file (attached in this post)
*some tool to unpack a zip file like 7zip or the default windows unzipper.
ok first you need to unzip my reg file (keys.reg) and copy it to your xda the location doesn't matter.
install total commander on the xda and open it.
browse (with total commander) to the location where you stored keys.reg and hold your stylus on it till a menu's opens. press "copy to clipboard" in that menu.
then press "\" located on the upper right side of the screen. and go in the "\\plugins" folder and then the "registry" folder.
you will see 3 folders HKCR,HKCU,HKLM hold your stylus on the blank space below the folders till the menu pops up again.
press paste here(copy)
after that some progress window should apear and if there are no errors you will be done.
your buttons should work right away and can be changed trough instellingen->knoppen (otherwise try a softreset or try again)
have fun with your functioning buttons and think about me when you press them (pssst donations are welcome (pm))
please give some feedback in the forum if the problem is still there

I post the italian, but by estracting and inserting language into rom (only by pressing 2 buttons into my buildos) you can have the kitchen in all languages you need, yes, for now the WM6.1 muis have to be translated, but if you work on translating, some days and WM6.1 can be posted in all language you want!!

Humm and which buttons would those be?
I already have bepe's kitchen fully translated to wwe, replaced some mui(most of them are actually useless as the exact same strings are already in the main .exe) and edited rgu from OEMDRIVERS, perhaps some other places too.
It boots, but of course, is missing essential stuff like mms, videocall(quite fond of the default dialer tho, working touch dual dialer would rock), hsdpa, camera, voice recorder, etc.
I wouldn't mind working on a kitchen, maybe yours when it is released, and organize things a bit more, like getting apps that are non-essential to the OS out of the OEM/SYS folders and putting them all into external packages for the user to choose when using your BuilOS.

there is a 3d for the v3 rom btw: mms4.2 works well;missing link on htccalendar inserted;recorder now works well.
and these solved bugs are solved also in the kitchen

my kitchen yet works in this way, near oem\ and sys\ folder there is also packages\ folder and kitchen can read into it and build packages into it inserting them directelly into dump\ folder when make the rom...
soo you have all divided,
oem -------->(for apps need rom)
sys --------->(for language folders, build and hardware)
packages ->(for additional tricks, apps, utils and other)

Diamond ROM dumping + GER MUI

Hey everybody.
I spent a lot of time now into translating the WM 6.5 for Hermes into german...
Now I found two Diamond ROMs completely german. I tried to dump them the way i knew (nbhextract, nbsplit, imgfsfromnb, imgfstodump) but it doesn't work.
Is there any way to dump such a ROM or to extract the mui-files at least?
I also got some german MUI files here but if i put them into my Windows directory, after Softreset, most of the dialogs are in german, but i can't open the start menu. any solutions for that?

ive had trouble as well. i have vista and think its down to that as ive not been able to dump any rom with it

I know youre problem i had the same problems with a dutch translation. The problems is it hink related in a wrong MUI file. Youre original GER MUI file is from a lower build.
I solved it witch a Anryl translation cab file but that is not our final solution. I am now looking for the richt files te get it work without this "LIM" cab file

Hey ice8lue When u translate ur winmo u have to rename some folders:
Startmenu --> Startmenü
Startup --> Autostart
Fonts --> Schriftarten
Hey ice8lue wenn du dein Windows auf deutsch übersetzenwillst, dann musst du folgende Ordner umbenennen:
Startmenu --> Startmenü
Startup --> Autostart
Fonts --> Schriftarten

Yeah, I know. I already figured out most of the translation. There's just one problem left: It seems to need a german xip. If i build the rom using english MUIs, everything works fine. But if i use the german ones, platformrebuilder.exe crashes...

[APPS]Working keyboards for most EU countries (JPY)

Seems that there're always someone missing a language in the keyboards for new ROMs... I've gathered working keyboards tested on Darky's v7.7, and to me it looks like most European countries are in there.
Install with rootexplorer.
Unzip the the files in a folder on your sd-card.
BACKUP ORIGINAL FILES FIRST!
files in sys-app goes into /system/app
files in sys-lib goes into /system/lib
Open rootexplorer, go into "system", click "mount R/W" in upper right corner
AFTER you've backed up the original files, find the unzipped files on your sd-card and it's just a question of long press the files (eg. AxT9IME.apk) from from my .zip file on the keyboard you want and select copy, enter /system/app for .apk files, "paste" and let it overwrite, and /system/lib for the .so files.
Take them one by one if you're not used to working with rootexplorer.
When you're done, click the "mount R/O" in upper right corner and your done.
REMEMBER.. you can do serious damage to your rom if you delete or move essential system files.
This is at OWN risk!
If someone is willing to make a CWM zip-file please do, I just like the rootexplorer way better.

I've had this phone for 3 days now... Didn't even play with it before I rooted and flashed it... Believe me.. I've been using SOME time to find these files

Gaah, I can't paste in Root explorer. I always get Paste Failure. There was not eneough free disk space to complete paste operation. Any help?

In Darky's v7.8 changelog he he wants to change the keyboards back to v7.7 for some reason:

Normally I can always find something I don't use in the system directory. A widget or a program... (on the Desire I always removed games like Teeter and programs/widgets like Stocks) Maybe you could look through the directory and find one or two things to remove, then try again. Again, make sure you're in R/W mode.

Any help for this?
I was able to open swype.apk with winrar and delete some language files that I dont need and then the apk installed just fine but the libSwypeCore.so is also larger than the original file.
So same problem with that file. How to open that file?
