I LOVE Tom's B&B Rom, but a few questions please?

Tom deserves every penny we send him - he is incredible and so is his ROM (BIT THANKS for all your work and help, Tom!) but I have a few small problems. My questions for now are
1. How can I find the options for the weather program? I need Fahrenheit, not Celcius. and
2. How can I get the music launcher to launch my registered Pocket Player instead of the Windows or HTC player. I listen to books and need the bookmark option.
Otherwise this is fantastic and I really recommend it to all! Thanks again, Tom! You're my hero!

1.) On the weather panel, tap on your town to go to the town selection. Right softkey takes you to menu -> weather options.
2.) I'm not sure that this is possible...

1.If i want Fahrenheit please kick to city in weather go to menu ---> Weather Options---> enable Fahrenheit style and ok..!
2.u can't change Pocket Player in HTC Home tabs as Audio manager and WMPlayer..!

tom, what happens if i change "Path" in "HKLM/Software/HTC/Biotouch/MediaHubMini/App1" to pocket player?
edit: i know this is not for the today plugin, but at least for the cube.

Weather is in Fahrenheit now - thank you very much ! (That was easy!)
But Is there any way to use bookmarks in Media Player or HTC Audio? That is the only reason I bought Pocket Player.

The biotouch settings are for the application launcher part of the touchflo cube so wouldnt change the audio player but give a link to the player instead. better to use the program for the biotouch settings for tat so you can change text and graphics for the shortcut.
BTW tom if you're reading this, I could marry you for making B&B 4 Best thing ever for the artemis... Keep up the good work!!

with the biotouch settings tool i can only choose from a list (of two) and not choose any application i want (for music). but than again, i dont have pocket player installed so maybe if i had it would appear in that list.

yeah, i will. i like messing up my device. a day without a hard reset is like a day witout sex.

I know I am Being a Pest
But I would like a bright pretty color on my dialing screen instead of black. I know, only a female would ask for that .... smile .... but is there a registry entry to let me change the background color? Thanks again!

I think the interface is designed specifically to link in with those two... I don't know if tom did anything here or just used HTC's programs with no mods, if he did (or knows how) he might be able to shed some light on how to link between PP and the media interface through an API?
If I'm talking rubbish please stop me!

There should be a page on the Artemis wiki all about B&B4 with things like a guide to flashing, setting up batterystatus with cpuscalar, reg hacks etc!
Would sure help tom dealing with repeated questions, and users with having to go through the 50 odd page thread on B&B4!
Not saying that because one of you guys has asked a question thats already been asked, I don't know, It just seems like a good idea!

Looks good thormdac! - you cant make separator lines transparent - but i made lines nearer match to grass color to try

In the Analog section of the skin.xml (open using notepad) -
Add the following :
<Secondhand color="RGB(153,153,153)"> </Secondhand>
You can change the color of the hands by changing the RGB color codes.
I did not keep this as it requires constant refresh of the today screen - to keep the second hand upto date with the actual time. The hands are fine a refresh rate of 1000 will do fine - but for secons you will need to keep atleast 100 to sync with the actual system clock.

HTCplus plugin is not showing up in the Todayplugin List - altough, the HTCPlus! tab is there. Tried 2 other versions which are in the forums - doesnt work.. the HTCImgCodec.dll is installed

Found another thing. In the ringtone and etc, settings both background and text is white.

This is definatly the fastest ROM I have used in a while, and apart from the doubling up of some programs in the all programs section (which isn't a problem really) is pretty much perfect!

Hi there
I put file explorer and calculator into the start menu as I use them alot, It's just some shortcuts it's seeing, IE: "All programs" checks the start_menu and all sub folders for "shortcuts" There's only 1 program installed, If you would like to do a test copy a shortcut to some other folder in start menu and open all programs and there will be 1 extra in all programs
I'll have a look and see if i can do it in the reg using "menu options"

Extra programs
Guys I had a look at this minor proble of multiple files in "All Programs" If I use The menu option in settings to put these shortcuts into the menu then NO Multiple copys are found, But a BIG "BUT" If you replace them using "setting menu options" IT dumps them in "Programs folder" - "THIS I LIKE to KEEP CLEAN" So Tough
If you wan't to get rid of the duplicate shortcuts then use total CMD and delete the following
Windows\start menu\Programs\Accessories\Calculator.lnk + Contacts.lnk + File Explorer.lnk
Windows\start menu\Programs\Connections\Comm Manager.lnk
Now if you should change the shortcuts in start_menu!, using settings\Menu the old shortcut will be found in Windows\start Menu\Programs\*.lnk
P.S. Guys if you use the dot fred task manager Supplyed with this ROM you can copy your Launcher settings to a *.reg file and restore them in seconds and not see the all programs page "So" that's y I didn't spot the duplicates

Its the fastest .rom and manilla tf3d i've ever flashed on me diamond!
But. I have a question: I dont have problems with WWE, but before I always had a Dutch .rom
Is it possible to have this rom in Dutch? (NLD) ?
btw: found out that you can slide the email messages like in the touchflo3d with this rom..
if you click on a envelope in tf3d it opens the email,then you can slide to the following email by sliding to the left or right, never noticed this before? is it new in 2.00 rom ?

dont have experience in cooking, all i know is that you need dutch packages to create a other language .rom so, maybe it's not yet possible.. but i can wait till dutch versions based on 2.0 rom comes out..
and as the rom is so fast and stable I leave it like it is now

I Know that some text is black in the dialer on black background and some white on white in the settings pages I am looking at this but it's slow

Theme Windows 7 in throttlelauncher port HVGA released 2011/02/04

Here I post some hubs ported to HVGA resolution, for who wants test theme W 7 over throttlerlauncher. It´s works very fine in my Mini and looks great!!

I only skin the hubs for works in our MINIS.
1st: install throttlelauncher 1.2.1: http://throttlelauncher.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1517
2nd: install the theme original by fireslave
3rd: copy my folder over the original
My folder includes the current Hub skin to HVGA, some tricks and workings: CLOCK, Taskmanager, Weather; calendar and office.
Here some picture in the MINI.

Now I resize the next: 1) Pictures: resize the pictures pages, for bigger images and the background always black (just for fun and because I can see better the captures) 2) Music: fix volumen button 3) Games: I change for black bacground on tiles. 4)home screen for see the clock and battery over the taskbar.
Note: Install first version 20/01, and after only if you like the version 04/02 the hubs or page that´s you want.

Hey Buddy.. I'm having problem.. I did all the things as you told.. But, when I click any of the Tile my screen goes blank.. What to do.. Please HELP.!!

I would try first with the original (without) my folders, and then test if work´s fine.
Then try added of one. Really must works like I said in first post, but all it´s possible.

Man I tried with the Original, without your folder.. But, It didn't work then also..
What could be the Problem.? Is it because I'm using Cookies home tab.?

No, but is recommended disable el Sense (with cookie o without it) when use throttlelauncher because both use much ram memory. Throttle less than sense.
If you have problem with the original, may be is better that´s you ask in this forum. Good Luck.

Hey I'm sorry if I'm messing up a convo I wasn't sure how to start a new post thing I'm new to all of this.... I have a verizon LG Ally and was looking to root it I watched a video using the universal androot I downloaded it and hit root but it says failed can anyone help me figure out why and how I can get my device to root?

Slide to the left (the home screen) touch setting, slide to the left and select Accent color. Good Lucks

thanks garmin2! i installed this and it worked fine.i really like it a lot! i have only an issue....my tiles ( for example the clock) doesnt fit perfectly! i can see only the half of the "%" symbol! more over when i go to the settings then i can see only the top half of the fonds... i have problems with the calendar and the music player too.i uninstalled this once and after the second installation i tried to open it without your files in! what i mentioned is that there is no difference! am i doing something wrong or is this normal??
p.s i am writing from my Mini!
p.s 2 i am from greece.sorry if i have mistakes

The throttlelauncher until you found the correct combination of widget is so unstable, but after a few days with the widget, begin to be stable like sense.
For example, I don´t use the people hub, only use some contact like hub, because like the people hub use too many resource, for me was unstable.
The % is a problem of resize (i only have the problem with 100% but no less), there are not enough space, but I will try to look it´s better. In a few days I will posted a new folder with some improvements, like in the weather page background skin, and see the map. Actually the mapspage appear blank, but I find a solutions, and other minor bugs.
The calendar and the music hub are the original I don´t do any modifications about this, so the problem is the unstable of throttle. May be you must insist until be stable. Believe me, is posible begin with less hub and add to one for time.
Uninstall and install until you get it. Good lucks

i have the same problem, and i found the way to solve it. just use yr computer to download and extract the windowphone7_2.rar ( or all the file if you want ), then copy to yr mini.

With this theme, the tiles titles are bad ( with segoe police installed ) why ?
When i copy your folders over the original, throttlelauncher is started but nothing appears !! Only agrey screen and two buttons at the bottom.
Can you please help me ?

Is strange, I don´t know why this happens, but sometime the throttlelauncher is so unstable. I would try with the original, and then copy the hubs on at a time, and test, if work fine backup folder: program files/throttlelauncher, and after add a new hub and so until install all.
In really the problem are not my folders, is the throttle (I only resize to HVGA and minor tricks. I would leave by the end the weather hub, because this need update until run and sometimes have problems.
