Custom Startup/Shutdown Screens-Sounds .cab - HTC Excalibur

I've posted steps on other threads on how to create custom startup/shudown screens and also how to add startup/shutdown sounds for the Excalibur, but i thought i'd just create a .cab that can perform the same steps. Anywho, what this does is this: You still get the same first 2 startup screens you see when you turn on your phone, this will allow you to see a third splash screen when your phone starts up and also see a splash screen when your phone shuts down, as well as startup/shutdown tones too! It really doesnt make your shutdown/startup sequence but a couple of seconds longer and it adds more flare to your phone ( which most of us want)
Included in the .cab are all of the regedits, alond with my own startup/shutdown .gifs, my own (vista) startup/shutdown sounds and a additional (required) file called oemstartup.dll which i extracted from the t-mobile ROM. Let me know what you think.
Update: In addition, you may also want to add you own startup/ shutdown sounds & splash screens for your own pleasure, just make sure they are labelled (startup.gif, shutdown.gif, startup.wav and shutdown.wav) and they are dropped into the /windows directory . Lastly, make sure the .gifs you are using are 320X240.
***This version is for Landscape phones only! For portait devices, use at your own risk!***

update: (may require some additional steps after installation) if install doesnt work, follow the additional intructions below
there may be one of two keys that are still in existing registry folders that may need to be deleted. I dont know how to create a setup.dll to remove existing registry entires yet.
go here in your registry:
HKLM--> System-->Shutdown --> 1 and see if you have any other values besides "Dll"
HKLM -->System-->Shutdown --> 2 and see if you have any other values besides "Splash"
also....
HKLM --> System --> Startup --> 1 and see if you have any other values besides "Dll"
HKLM --> System --> Startup --> 2 and see if you have any other values besides "Duration" and "Splash"
If you have any other values inside the "1" & "2" keys from startup and shutdown, then delete them. After that, soft reset your phone.
Below Are screenshots of my startup / shutdown Screens. Enjoy!

Sorry to threadjack my own thread, but seems silly to post another thread for a simple ( i think) question. Is there a way to have an icon displayed in the iconbar for bluetooth stereo (headphones) using rinku iconbar? I've never seen one appear, although my headphones are connected. I know there's a headphone icon for wired headphones, but not one for bluetooth headphones.

I imagine there are different icons for wireless stereo and for headset. When my bluetooth car headunit connects to the phone, I do get an icon that resembles an over-the-ear bluetooth headset.

Yea, but what about bluetooth headphones. Curently, one doesn't exist. There's one for bluetooth headset (looks like a motorla HT850) and the other is a headset (non bluetooth) icon for headphones. and that one works when using wired headphones. I wouldnt even mind that one popping up when i have my jabra 620s Bt Headphones connected (or even the other regular bluetooth headset icon) but no icon besides the bluetooth icon appears when bluetooth stereo is actively being used. ( one exception is if you device has both bluetooth headset and bluetooth stereo, it will show the bluetooth headset icon, but you get nothing if its only using bluetooth stereo)

God, rapidshare has gone to **** verifying.
My opinion

Here it is, zipped down. FOr some reason it will not let me upload in its original .cab format. SO just unzip it and place the .cab into your phone and run the .cab enjoy!

aaaahhhhh.... thank you thank you... im installing now...

BTW slater, if you can tell me what additional keys there are, i can try and include them in an update to my .cab. It's been so long since i had a fresh ROM, that i completely forgot which additional keys there are, but one thing i DO KNOW is that there are additional keys that need to be deleted.

Stereo BlueTooth Headset Quality/BitRate

I've just bought the fab iTech BlueBAND set of bluetooth headphones, and have got them working with my JAM with the new BT stack plugin.
The quality is a bit dodgy though...
I know the popup message says it's streaming at 192Kb/s, but while most of my songs are encoded at 160Kb/s (which sounds relatively great on wired headphones), the higher frequencies in particular have a lot of static-like distortion through the headset. It's not unlistenable, but not really that good either. It is digital after all! So I'd expect it to either play perfectly or cut out completely.
Does anyone know if there are any reg settings to fix this? Or does anyone else use the same or other headsets and experience distortion?
Please let me know,
Cheers,
Joe
Your issue is not limited to the phone, it appears to be an input clipping issue with the BT A2DP input. It's touchy.
Right now, I'm listening to 192kbps mp3s out of my computer with a Macsense BT-100 (Class 2, v1.2, USB2.0) running the BlueSoleil 1.6 BT stack, and a pair of the new Moto HT820s, and I get that "crunchy" high end like you're describing (or at least what I think you're describing). The only way I've found to correct this, is to lower the actual input to the BT. Not sure how you can go about that with your setup offhand, but with Windows it's just tweaking the Wave volume down a little bit.
Hope this info has been of some usage to you or anyone else having this issue. Oh and I was having the issue with the HT820s and a co-worker's Bluetake BT009x (Another Class 2, v1.2, USB2.0). Again, resolution was turning down the Wave on them, and I was all set to go.
Just a fun off-topic sidenote: The HT820s with a BT adapter running the BlueSoleil stack, allows control of winamp's next track, previous track, pause, and play functions using the right earpeice's multifunction and skip buttons.
EDIT: Wave @ 50% and the crunchy sound is gone except where expected with clipping from far far too much audio being mashed together.
Thanks for your idea, looks like we need to just find a way to lower the output volume from the streaming software to the headset.
Does anyone know if this is possible through a regedit or anything?
I'm also looking for a program that will toggle the 'stream audio to bluetooth headset' in the stack extension. Then I could create a shortcut to it for wisbar desktop like with the CicleBT program.
I'm aware that viJay has made software that does this for WM5 but not for the magician's cambridge A2DP extension.
Hope that made sense!
Send me over a copy of the software/stack and I'll try to look into it, if you've got it at hand.
V
Good news...
I switched BT adapters, I got my ISSC adapter in the mail today and have been putzing around with it at work and at home, and found this out. It works great, has great distance (I got 30m out of it with a wall between myself and it, and it's only marked for 10, while the CSR adapter that I had before was marked at 20, and couldn't even go that far without breaking up to almost nothing in line of sight.), and isn't crunchy with the high-end on the audio! Maybe you can check your XDA and see what chipset it uses, and possibly opt for an ISSC based one instead of CSR-based? Better yet, i'm going to start a new thread asking people to post up the chipsets in their XDAs and other BT devices so I can compile a list of chipsets and how well they work with certain data-intensive protocols such as A2DP and File Transfer.
More info: CSR stands for Cambride Silicon Radio, and ISSC stands for Integrated System Solution Corp.
That's interesting!
I've managed to get about 15m distance with line of sight between my Jam and iTech headset, but only about 8m with walls and floor between them.
I suppose this tells us that it's either the chipset itself or the coding of the stack that is affecting the quality/volume and causing the clipping.
As I use Wisbar Desktop I didn't like permanently having the notification icon displayed so i renamed the btAVPgui (cant remember exact name of the exe) in the windows directory to get rid of that popup interface. Now I just turn the streaming on and off in bluetooth settings. Hopefully vijay will find a way to create a shortcut for that!
I'll be looking at it ASAP - still updating old stuff though, but I'm working on some very funky new stuff too, and Mrs Vijay555 is limiting me to 30 mins a night (programming, not other stuff!)
V
Cool, thanks.
I have some programming knowledge so if there's any pointers you could give me to figure it out myself, please pm me!
Those cold walks to college every morning are much more fun if I don't have to take my gloves off to get my music playing!
joehood:
What does the screen look like? You said there's a bubble in the bar at the top?
Frankly, the easiest way to tap it would be to use a Mort script. I have one set up to control the volume - just emulate a click on the top bar, eg (180,5) will approximately hit the volume icon (from memory only!). Set this up with a shortcut, and to quote futurama, "Pow".
Forgive the old screenshot, I'm at work:

}
Icon in claunch near bottom left will click the volume icon and permit use of the dpad to control the volume. No screen taps required.
Could you do the same for your bluetooth?
Either way, a programatic solution would be nicest, but hard work, no doubt. But I'll try to investigate.
V
OK I have the exe that creates that popup notification with the button to enable or disable A2DP streaming depending on its current status. Is there any way I can find out how it's changing the status? I've looked for a registry setting but couldn't find anything. Where else would the setting be stored?
I am amazing I am amazing...............etc
Woohoo!
I've done it!
It was a regkey after all. Found it by looking through the .unload file that CSR create in the windows dir.
HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev
Then 'streamOn' is obviously activating streaming
'automute' self-explanitory
and I'm guessing showConnStatus controls the status notification.
Now... is there an easy way to create a programe which toggles the registry value? Please let me know how to programme changing DWORD values.
joehood: these things aren't usualy just a registry entry, but certainly could be.
I think mortscript can change registry entries. Try that first, and if it does or doesn't work, we can consider writing an app to do the switching if necessary.
V
I just got home and wasn't thinking when i wrote the first post, now to edit it and make myself look a lot smarter.
On windows, there is default support for .REG files that integrate into the registry and make changes on the fly based on the contents of the file.
Example:
Filename: ShowConn.reg
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev]
streamOn=DWORD:00000001
automute=DWORD:00000001
showConnStatus=DWORD:00000001
When this is run, it should set streamOn to on, automute on, and show connection status to on. Make another like this with the name HideConn.reg and change showConnStatus=DWORD:00000001 to DWORD:00000000 and that should turn it off. Just run whichever one, keep them in a folder and keep a shortcut, have fun switchin.
Of course! haha
I did write a little mortscript file for it last night anyway, this one toggles it on or off, but doesn't change the show connection status or automute values. Personally I hide the notifications icon in wisbar because it was permanently there before. I'm using btp_audio_ui again to confirm that files are streaming, but currently have no way of telling the status of A2DP without trying to make a sound.
I didn't bother putting the automute function in because I leave it on permanently, no need to have both sound sources really.
I'm getting VS2005 so I can have a play, will try to design a bluetooth manager program which has large fancy buttons for turning on/off the most useful functions.
The more we can get these things performing like real phones the better!
Next step: to find out how to play WMV audio through A2DP!
joehood: are the registry changes dynamic? Ie, when you incorporate your defined registry settings, the streaming/mute etc happens immediately?
V
yep!
Cool. I guess I can build them into VJVolubilis as well if you want.
If you've got a bunch of them together, PM them over.
V
Can anyone send me a bt stack with stereo support, recived my plantronics 590a today. Thanks
Oy...
Get BlueSoleil, make a new thread or search the forums next time though. I'm almost ready with my thread I hope to get Stickied with info on the software and chipsets for bluetooth.
So what you are sayin is that BlueSoleil works with WM5 to get stereo or what?

oh man... this rocks.
Been running it today and I already have it hacked to my liking. I highly HIGHLY recommend it.
Tips:
Remove the My5 app out of the \windows\startup
Enable the Media Player today plugin then copy that code from the Default T-Mobile Blue into your custom home screen
Fix the T-Zones button to trigger your app of choice (should be IE)
Install the DialPad.cab
there's a few more small things but those will get your started.
Again, this was worth the wait. Let's hope HTC's S620 WM6 upgrade is this good...

how did you Enable the Media Player today plugin then copy that code from the Default T-Mobile Blue into your custom home screen?
I want to use the plugin with a different home screen. I also would like to take the media player plugin and use it on my new HTC Vox, any ideas how to do this?

what do you get when you dial 1-800-flowers? I tried that and unless there's something you have to do, it's not that smart.
As far as enabling the Media Player plugin, click on START and you'll see an app for Media Plugin. Run that and select ENABLE IN TODAY PLUGIN (all of this is from memory so the wording won't be exact, but you'll get it).
Once you've done that, the default T-Mobile blue will have it. Copy that .xml file to your PC and copy out the two lines of code from it and paste it into the .xml of your favorite today screen.
Done.
- OR -
you can skip all that and just copy this into your favorite home screen layout:
<!-- Music Player -->
<plugin clsid="{166B4205-4D6C-46d7-AA10-9647198FBF65}" name="Music Player" height="22" />
<plugin clsid="{A502A403-48E4-48b6-A0E8-75633F493F01}" name="SPN Name" height="25" />
Save it, copy it back to your phone. done.

sweet. Thanks! I know many were anti Windows mobile because the crackberry worked this way.
Now if they could only fix the problem where you are looking at favorites in IE and you type the first letter to bring one up (lets say you type G and it brings up google) and the number keys act as if you don't have a qwerty phone.

Anybody that can help getting this installed on HTC S620? Getting Vendor_ID error now.
Got the same error here, i think that the RUU is only for the T-Mobile DASH, not for HTC S620 (unbranded)...
It´s a shame, but its only a mather of days and the official rom upgrade will be available.
You need to CID unlock your phone bro. It costs about 40 bucks. Well worth it.
how do you get the jogbar icon and enable it
Oh, really?... tnx for the data! Although i can´t do it here in Argentina...

how did you remove the my5 app in startup? i have tried using total commander and have not been successful...
This doesn't seem much different than the Beta ROM, except it's cleaner and the additional apps were embedded into the device instead of being installed during the initial config sequence. It doesn't seem at all faster to me, though I haven't done much with it yet. There is less storage space due to the embedded apps.
I do, however, like the music homescreen plugin. Too bad I don't use my phone for music...
Hi,
which languages are included in the new WM6 ROM ?
Thanks, Newchurch
Well... I can't upgrade my phone. It's been unlocked by imeicheck and still won't accept the T-mobile WM6 rom. I did the trick with editing the upgrade files, but still no joy: Wrong Device ID )-: It worked with beta.
Any ideas???

[SUPERCEDED] vp3G's WM6 v1.0 (LVSW 05-19 variant) [CINGULAR-optimized]

Seeing as how there's a little extra room in the kitchen these days, I thought this might be a good time to try my hand at serving up something HOT.
This ROM is based on LVSW's rock-solid 05-19 3.30.2.1 release. Version edited or not, it really rocks!
NOTE: While this variant is Cingular optimized, all Cingular customizations (as noted by [CINGULAR] below) are handled by the autorun following a hard-reset. What does this mean? If you're NOT on Cingular, you can still install this ROM. Simply soft-reset as soon as the customization dialog appears in order to bypass all things Cingular!
What's In?
HTC Home Plugin (Battery, Screen Rotation, Backlight, Comm Manager shortcuts)
HTC X-Button 1.5 (Activate/Add Exclusive menu is back!)
Windows Live & Live Search
Office Mobile 2007 (includes OneNote fixes!)
Transcriber
Taskman/RegEdit 2.7 (kudos to dotfred)
Ringer Vibrate Toggle (Comm Manager "Press & Hold")
ATI ImageON Fix (*tips hat* to Sleuth255)
[CINGULAR] GPRS connections, MMS settings, URL mappings, Proxy Manager auto-installed
What's Out?
Remote Desktop (cab attached to this post if you need it)
Soft Key applet ("Calendar" soft key launches correct app)
HTC Ringtones
Other Features:
OS-only, NO IPL/SPL, Radio, ExtROM, Splash
BIG Storage (~55mb free Storage, ~31mb free Program memory @ idle)
4mb Page Pool, 8192 GLYPHCACHE (increase for even better performance!)
Comm Manager buttons re-ordered as shown
Today screen items enabled/re-ordered as shown
Acquires Date/Time & Time Zone info from network by default
A2DP bitpool optimized for BT stereo listening pleasure (initial 58 max 70)
HTCustom 1.4 replaces HTweakUI (thanks Shadowmite!)
NO Cyberon Voice Speed Dial or Voice Commander (cab for CVSD 1.2 attached to this post)
Comm Manager & Battery tray icons removed
Video calling disabled
Release Notes for v1.0:
Does NOT support BBConnect (I despise CrackBerry, so please don't ask if/when it will)
HTCustom may fail to unlock the ExtROM. Try Olipro's ExtROMPatcher if you really need to access it.
X-Button is still a bit flaky when exiting the option settings.... no big deal.
[CINGULAR] Default network is MEdia Net (w/ proxy), change to My ISP (no proxy) if you use isp.cingular.
Seeking even better Bluetooth A2DP fidelity, are you?
Try Bitpool = 86, MaxSupportedBitpool = 86, UseJointStereo = 1.
See hardcore's most excellent 'WM6 A2DP best settings' thread.
[*]"Clean" 3G icon was not cooked in since it screws with the pinpad colors and call history icons (install attached cab if you don't care)
[*]Cingular Video is supported (via awesome add-on cab created by CUSTEL). (Must enable proxy to view!)

[NEW!] 05-28 Update:
11-Button Comm Manager (props to schaps!)
Cool new GUI, skin matches phone skin
Includes Internet Sharing and VOIP buttons
VOIP button does not function

how'd you get the exclusion bugfix in X-Button if I might ask?
I'm going to give this one a shot, with some recipe modification. This ROM looks like a good LVSW variant to start cooking from - what I want to do is remove the camera stuff. I would greatly appreciate some guidance on that (reading the kitchen thread convinced me I can do this... but help for the first time out).

First, thanks for noticing my greatest accomplishment with this ROM.
I suspect most of the cabs floating about contain mismatched files. Try the mui file from my build on yours and see if that fixes it.

That could be a bit tricky... I'd probably remove the shortcut from programs, remap the hardware buttons (if needed), and call it done.

Interesting. The registry hacks alone have been hit/miss for me on every ROM, while Olipro's patcher has never failed me. PITA that it is, I wish we could just reclaim the ExtROM as additional storage space.

I hear ya because until HTCustom came out none of the tweak programs actually worked correctly for me.
Using HTCustom it all works I can install program to ext rom and everything.
great job vp3g! congratulations!
yep the mui solved it vp3G... I've created a cab and posted it on pg 1 of my thread.... It's still a bit quirky tho, if you actually use the exclusive tap feature, xbutton doesn't restore its icon properly on the today screen. You need to activate another application then return to the today screen to see it again. Somewhere I'm betting there's a newer dll to go with the resource file.
Yeah, I noticed that quirky behavior as well. Might still be a slightly mismatched set of files. I tracked down where it worked last (LVSW's 3.30.0.9) and pulled it as a unit from there. Seems like anything else out there has been through the XDA blender (set on frappé).

Sleuth,
Thanks for creating the cab. I was going to ask VP3G about creating cab this way we don't have the mismatch files.
@VP3G,
If you do not experience the issues Sleuth describe above, would you mind creating a cab?

Every version I've encountered thus far has the same quirky issues, but they're not major, IMO. Sleuth's patch will restore the Exclusive menu if you're running ROM that lacks the appropriate resource file.
Nice rom vp3g! I'll certainly have to give it a try being a cingular guy...
Thanks! Appreciate your efforts on HTCustom. It makes for a nice little app to include for those who'd rather not dig around in the registry.

This is an HTC Excalibur ROM, based on Windows Mobile 6.5. The current build number and date can be seen in the title of this thread. This will also work on the TMobile Dash (which is what's it's primarily setup for) and any other Excalibur variations.
I always build my ROMs with three main goals.
Eye candy.
Speed!
Smoothness, consistency and good esthetics.
I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go, how I'd want it. So, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications are already set, as well as a background and key shortcuts.
I usually make 2 versions of the ROM. If you don't see one in the download directory, it either means I haven't uploaded it OR I'm not making one for the current release yet.
Here are the different versions and what they mean.
"IE6" includes the new IE6 browser
"IE5" includes the older IE5 browser (less RAM being used).

looks like you're using ookbas 96dpi cab... if you are then uninstall it
MMS
1. There is no interface to configure MMSC setting (had to do it via registry)
2. there is no default app for jpg viewing
Apart from this, seems very stable and fast.
Nice rom.
Did you take out the VPN ?
If yes: do you have the Connection Setup Tool cab ? Then the original HTC cab is too old..
the jpg association can be fixed this way:
open resco explorer, find any .jpg file, choose "action\open with", click "always use this program to open this file type" checkbox, and then choose menu/browse. from list select pimg.exe (this is picture viewer). choose select (left soft key) and done, now the jpg file is opened as usual.
Once again you cooked up a very nice rom. Thanks for the tip on how to fix the .jpg association issue. I just found it when trying different things out and someone already posted the fix for it.
Anyway it does seem that the connection setup does use older data then what I had before. It has not caused a problem yet but just thought I would mention it.
No voice dial?
Just found out, the long pressing of home key opens "All notes", and there is no way to record a voice dial for my contacts...
I understand there are people with no use for voice dial, but is there a cab out there to fix this?

Another workaround for the .JPG issue is install XNVIEW app.. it´s free and it´s not a big fat pig (when you think about resources)... Grab it here.
Nice job, Nrg. Thank you.
I´m updating my guide for Brazilian people now...

Its called... Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 for smartphones. If and when you get it installed, In the voice command setup. for the voice button use App3.
stuck at 3%
what am I doing wrong? I try to load this program and it gets to 3% then tells me the file is corrupt and then the phone reboots. re-downloaded the file several times with same result
How is everyone doing with wifi in this release? In the other thread some folks mentioned that wifi wasn't working well. I haven't had a chance to install this version yet but wifi is a deal breaker for me if it does not work. Thanks.

It is working for me at work today..I don't know why it glitched out on me yesterday at home, but it completely froze my phone up and had to pull the battery. So far so good...
Microsoft Voice Command works well only for English Speakers, as it does not require voice tags for contacts.
As nearly all my contacts have foreign names, it seems i need a different app.
Tried installing Cyberon speed voice dial 1.2, but there seems to be no way to add voice tags to contacts, so it always says there are no recorded tags.
Had no problems with the WiFi on this ROM... my home WPA network works fine.
nrg, any chance of getting the IE5 version uploaded? Thanks
I have set my pictures to open with HTC Album, which works ok, but it seems to be causing some other issues with MMS messages. I try to attach a picture and it does not want to insert it correctly into the MMS message. It just shows the preview icon and not the picture itself.

[FIX] Remove BT Device Volume Notification

Firstly, thanks to Wensing for the original post on the Bluetooth Disconnection Notification.
I was becoming annoyed with the notification telling me that I had to adjust the volume on the BT Device and not on my handset. So starting with Wensing's post I added the following - and it worked for me.
CREATE THIS KEY
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{1CBF334F-99CC-4835-B930-E3568FE5B2C7}]
**When I post this there seems to be a space in the key name the first part should read 1CBF334F
ADD THESE SUB KEYS
"AvailableOptions"=dword:00000009
"Default"="Volume Warning"
"Options"=dword:00000000
Now go to Sounds & Notifications and you should have an option volume warning. Disable any notifications and you should no longert get the annoyiung warning.
Thanx, working fine.
You may have to remove the space in key name : {1CBF334F-99CC-4835-B930-E3568FE5B2C7}
Thanks so much for sharing, that was really getting on my nerves!
I've tried this on my phone. I now have the option on my sound settings. I made sure nothing is checked on...but I still get the message...so annoying....any ideas?

Are you getting the message popup or are does the message appear in the HTC Notification manager.
It still appears in the notification manager on my TP2 but the annoying popup has gone.
Re: Remove BT Device Volume Notification
Hi @all,
on my HTC TP2 with a dutch rom the registry entry is:
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER
\Software
\HTC
\NOTIFICATIONMANAGER
\{1CBF334F-99CC-4835-B930-E3568FE5B2C7}
and NOT
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER
\ControlPanel
\Notifications
\{1CBF334F-99CC-4835-B930-E3568FE5B2C7}
Only for information and corectnes for all possible entries.

Ditto for my US T-Mobile Rhodium
However, after making the modifications, I don't have any such options in the Sounds & Notifications section.
I'm using Resco Registry Editor, and there is no option to add a 'sub key', so I just added DWORD Value and edited the existing '(Default)' Value. Is this correct, or should I have added Keys with Values underneath?
Thanks!
I tried this on my phone. I get the option volume warning but checking/unchecking boxes does nothing unfortunately.
I made changes to the registry for the first time, so maybe i made a mistake there. Could you please check if this registry edit is correct? Thanks.

This worked on my ATT tilt 2. I tried both methods ( this one and the one posted above. ) While it does get rid of the pop up now to find away to stop it all together lol
Thanks so much!!
I don't have this issue with any Jabra A2DP enabled Bluetooth handsfree, but with all other ones I have, I get this annoying loud alert sound with the message every time A2DP service is activated. This tweak gets rid of the audio alert and message popup - it's still there in the HTC Notification Manager, but at least now I can connect to my non-Jabra A2DP Bluetooth handsfree devices in peace.

Remove the space in the GUID. "1CBF 33" should be "1CBF33". After that it should work for you.
I'm not really comfortable doing reg edits. The notifications were going off every few minutes and driving me nuts! I'm not sure I did them correctly, but seems to work. I had to hard reset after the first try, it was totally wrong, thank goodness for Sprite Backup.
Thanks much.
