T9 Phone Pad - DLL?

I'm sure this has been asked before - i've searched and browsed the forums but can't find an answer...
How can i enable T9 Phone Pad input on my XDA Orbit? I think it's a matter of a DLL file?
Regards,
S.
Found it i think:

t-9 phone pad
It amazes me that HTC left this off the Orbit - it's by far the easiest input method to use and I was so dissappointed when I got the new handset and found it missing - tried TenGo thumb but was going to take too long to fathom the querks of their input -
CHEERS guys, you saved me from sending the thing back - otherwise it's a grand handset (though I'm not too convinced by the joystick thingy!)

Scroolwheel doesnt change Volume

Hi everybody,
i'm not quite sure if this is the right subforum, but i'll give it a try
i changed from my beloved htc prophet to an Asus P750. But on the asus you can't change the volume of ringtones, volume on calls and so on with the wheel on the side of the phone. i liked that on my prophet so i would like to have that on my asus again. are there any registry tweaks or tools that reactivade it? at the moment i can just scoll up and down and click, but that doesn't make sense if you have an that little joystick on my phone.
thanks in advance!
greetings
guro
Don't know if this will fix it, but you can try it. Look at my post other post and give the regtweak a try.

well, on a ASUS device it might be a little difficult do find HTC on it
i guess its an WM-Feature, no special from HTC (i hope!)

Thanks for this. I needed this tip as well.
Please go easy on the beginners.
It is impossible to find something with keyword search unless you happen to know the exact right keywords (and not some synonyms). I know -- I'm an expert in not finding stuff
you're very welcome
Guys what about software keyborad< original Touch? can we change registry for russian? or insall some cab... I thinnk I tried cab from Dimond 2...but it didn't work
I've changed the sym.0816.txt file and replaced it in \windows!
but somehow I can't type the characters with Fn+Sym key? Am I combining the keys of the keyboard wrong??
I've done it before with Touch Pro with success! It had a physical Sym Key on the HW keyboard and TP2 has a FN+Sym... perhaps that's the problem?!?
thanks

Original Keyboard from Strock ROM

Well i am missing the small Keybaord that was always present in the original Roms.
The one that has blue letters you know which i mean?
The one that is not from HTC and doesn't use the half screen for it self.
The HTC Keyboard is good to write SMS but when i work with Excel i need more Screen!!!
I have searched different forums but still could not find any cab.
Does anyone know where to get it?
Thank you!

HTC Magic - broken backlight

Hi was wondering if anyone can help me?
I have an HTC magic but the backlight is not working on it after i dropped it could you tell me if there is a tutorial showing me how to replace the screen?
Regards Mimicuk
There's a service manual floating around somewhere... It contains info about how to completely disassemble and reassemble the magic. Google is ur friend (or forum search of course )
Tried the links but they are all down
