Games on Artemis

I happen to travel a lot, and often end up checking the same stuff over and over again on the net.
And i am getting sick and tired of Solitaire
Does anyone know of a fun game, wich doesnt get old to quickly? (i dont mind paying for a really good game, but freeware is welcome to)
Also i have been looking for something like a GBA emulator but they are few and far between.
So if anyone knows of a good working Emulator (with sound!) feel free to point me at it
Also, any way to get MSN to work on the Artemis?

What about emulator of GB/GBC - Pocketgnuboy, it's free and has hundreds of games.

I'd probably get into trouble for saying the exact sites, but Google sure does pick up a lot of details and the SCUMMVM program should have some free* games (BASS, etc) on the site.
The only one thats a major issue is the Playstation emulator which is both slow and of course the lack of buttons on the phone. Other than that, the emulators work brilliantly.
*free as in they've been included on cover discs of magazines, etc.

ScummVM does not seem to have a Windows Mobile 5 version, or does it?
Then there's MSN, did they stop making that for PDA's?

You can use the 2003 version, that works fine.

I sudoku most times...the games always makes you think differently, even if playing the same game...good for your brain cells.
The version I downloaded....now I cant remember where from is Superdoku - google it.

anyone?? RE: no d-pad on worms. it's very inconvenient try to use the scroll wheel or the roller ball and you can be precise and u have to keep repeating rather than holding a button.

Not really, i installed that version and my clock dissapeared, i needed to reset my device to get it back :/

I'm not a hard player but I've been looking for a good PPC game for a long time. Got really bored with Solitaire. Tried chess and a few other games. The problem always was that PPC is not a very good platform for complicated games especially if it comes to controls. Recently I found a game that is great. Well - it's not free but kills the time perfectly. It's Virtual Pool Mobile by Celeris. The graphic is cool, fantastic phisics model and very easy control. You can play and play. Many modes to choose. I recomend it.

i'm still having no luck playing worms without a d-pad on the orbit. can ANYONE help me?!

The PDA Mill collections are really cool I love PDAMill Gamebox Classics. Has very addictive puzzle games with nice sound and graphics. If you like asian games like Sokoban you can also try PDA Mill Gamebox Asia!
Sky Force 1.1 is another game to recommend. It also plays nicely with the trackball Same with the free Space Invaders you can get from Microsoft if you register for the Win Mobile Newsletter

The lack of a pad is really the only weakness of the Artemis I've found so far but it's not that tragical with games.

1. Bounty Hunter 2099 - Fantastic pinball!!!!
2. Fishopolis - You must shoot fishes Sound lunatic, but is fantastic in reality. The game uses the camera as a motion detector
3. Age of Empires Gold - You should know what this is and it is very, very good on the PPC...
4. 9 Hole Golf - Cool 3D golf and completely free. Get it from Microsoft.com
5. Need for Speed: High Stakes - Another PC port to the PPC. Plays with the touchscreen...
6. Tomb Raider - Lara in your pocket (tm). Too good to miss if you are into young sexy brunettes

Has anyone ever run a dos game on a Windows Mobile Platform?

I'm hoping this can be achived the game in question is X-Wing its only 5.6meg and was a fantastic game for its time but i reckon it would make a mint phone game.

running FPSece on hermes

Just wondering... has anyone managed to get FPSce running on their Hermes successfully in wm6? I tried it on mine, it starts up but it ends up in the ps cdplayer/memory card menu, just like when you didn't have a cd in the ps in the old days.
i tried both uncompressed image, and compressing the iso with pocketISO (ff vii), then loading from that but no success. I have also tried all kinds of different settings.
So, have anyone of you guys managed to get FPSce running on your Hermes? is it worth a try, or is hermes too slow?

Snes, nes and gba emulators work perfectly..! At least i have no problems using the keyboard for the games but did you manage to actually start a game and play it with fpsce??

it works but slow.gta2 is only one running somehow playable what ive tested.

when i had a hermes previously, i had wipeout 2097 and final fantasy 7 working100%, since trying on my second hermes, it just goes to cdplayer/mem card page, a friend who uses wm5 rom it plays perfect, so i think that could be problem (his phone is not a hermes)

You should take a look at TikiTowers. Really funny game. You have to build objects and bridgets so the monkeys can reach the bananas

Towerdefense is installed now on my Touch HD since about 1 or 2 months, and i havent had any crash yet. Runs smooth and stable on my HD. Do you have Neos Driverpackage installed?

Is this game nice?? I haven't buy an action RPG for WM before. How's the control? The graphic looks good.

the control is d-pad... ish. you can play it in landscape only. you hold your phone as if it was a joypad. on the left you have a 4-way dpad controllable with a thumb, on the right one single button used to attack and interact. there are then some elements on the screen that can be tapped. it's very intuitive anyway.
the graphics are good indeed although they are NOT opengl/3d accelerated. plain and simple 2d.
about the "is this game nice" well i can only give you my point of view OFC. if you liked diablo 1 you will mostly like this game. it's not the most complex game on earth tho, just like diablo, with a manga twist.

yea sorry. i did like tiki towers till i pretty much finished it. i admit i was addicted for a while. As for Ashpault 4 it just looks bad and doesnt perform well. Thats why i didnt add it in. Thanx for the suggestions btw ill check them out

I have had similar experiences with other games installed on the SD card. try to install the game into device memory (edit: if you installed into SD).
Also, try a soft reset, as it has also been the solution for me sometimes.
Note, this is what I have experienced on other games, and I have not tried this game.

He wants 250 subscribtions for the Emu with the Game and 500 for an apk emulator so shouldnt we be able to collect these 500? I think yes post it on every bada Forum, so we can play Super Mario.
The new it istn a fake video is since one week it should be actual enough to believe him also battery removed and so on, so it is not a lie.
We all togheter can show our signs that we want such things.

Yes hopefully we can see Nintendo 64 emu for our phones, but apk emu part is a little blurry. There is too many moving part that has to work for Android apps. First we see Nintendo 64, then ask for apk emu

I hope that is true .. I am really like bada 2.0 and in my opinion is better than
android OS .. I hope also N64 release when bada 2.0 release for wave 1 & 2

played super mario brothers with seven years and all others instead of mario sunshine, never had a gamecube
this emulator is amazing if it comes the n64 was an amazing game console
there are 6 days left, if he bluffs i will personally send him 1000 spam mails

It's little bit ....... well, I don't know what I can say. I saw a BadaDroid video just like this. They claimed something they can't even manage to do. I hope I'm wrong, really but APK emu is finished and they will start iOS emu.
