i wnna unock my 8525 which is locked on Cingular & am currently using T-mobile ... so is there any way i can get it unlock .. can any body help me wid software . i mean which files i need to unlock my 8525

Dopod C720W (unlocked) upgrade to WM6?

Hi all, I have dopod C720W (unlocked) no carrier. How to check whether my phone is CID locked or no? I really want to upgrade my phone to WM6, is there any available ROM for C720W? thx

Same as a Dash or a HTC Excalibur.

I installed Rogers certificate and started the Rogers WM6 ROM but the installation failed at 3% - my device is not supported but I have a Dopod C720W
Any idea?
The HTC website also provides a ROM which I can not download as my device is recognices as Dopod instead of HTC S620. I´m waiting for an answer of the HTC support team to get this fixed...

I successfully installed Rogers ROM in my Dopod C720W..I exactly followed the instructions from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=329605 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=327757

HTC Diamon - French to English and unlock

I have been given a HTC Diamond with WM6.1. It is locked to "Bouygues Telecom" in France and has the French language installed.
I need to a). Unlock the phone so it will accept my O2 SIM and b). change the language to English.
Can someone please advise how I proceed with this, many thanks in advance.

Go to HTC Diamond section. There you'll found full info about unlocking and flashing this phone.

Go to diamond forum, search for sim unlock, hardspl and rom flashing, it will fit your needs.

Yes you need to install HardSPL to install a non-Swedish ROM as the phones are region locked and HardSPL region unlocks it (not sim unlock) this allows you to install cooked ROMs or official ROMs from HTC for another region.

Although you may like to browse the cooked ROMs once you've installed HardSPL as you can use the,m too after that.

Yes because if it sim unlocked it does not effect the region ROM locking that HTC or the carrier put i place which is why you need hardSPL to unlock the bootloader so it will allow you to install unofficial and official ROMs from other regions or carriers! So the answer is yes.
